I have never seen such a concentration of high caliber staff in any gym (or just about any other kind of business). It really is amazing. The staff is always on the floor. They engage with the members every day. If you are there working out, you WILL have a positive interaction with the staff. Everything from a passing fist-bump to words of encouragement, or a meaningful conversation. 24e is not just a place you go to work out. It is difficult to find the right word to describe the environment thee staff have created.

I've received phone calls and text messages from the GM and personal trainer to sign up for their "personalized trainers" that cost well above $200+ a month. They tried to psychologically manipulate me into joining their training program by asking intensive borderline therapy intake questions. They also failed to explained the contract terms upon signing up and only had me "sign a few boxes." | attempted to resolve the issue face to face with the general manager but he became defensive. If you sign up with this gym be prepared to be haggled and request to have the fine print printed out and explained to you! UPDATE: Orlando Perez III, regional manager, reached out to me and was very pleasant, caring, and helpful. He actively listened and didn't just listen to respond. He was very quick to resolve the issues I experienced. He took into consideration of my experiences and is motivated to make changes. He has shown great leadership skills and professionalism. The following are areas of customer service that they're failing in: 1. They stopped greeting customers when you walk in the gym. 2. They don't even acknowledge you when you walk in, they're either texting on their personal phones or just ignore you. . It makes you feel unwanted or a disturbance. 3. They turn the ceiling fans off at 9:40 pm . They DON'T CARE if club members are working out on the treadmill. They cutoff the air circulation to force customers to stop working out and go home. 4. They have hired a night manager with braids who thinks he can treat club members anyway without any accountability. He has anger issues. 5. He's the one turning off the ceilings fans 20 minutes before closing time. 6. He shouts at club members to leave the gym 5 minutes before closing time. 6.He turns on that annoying alarm 10 minutes before closing continuously. ITS VERY ANNOYING. 7. He's way to communicate with club members is through intimidation. He actually thinks club members are scared of him. LOL I have complained using their feedback. My efforts to complain have been futile. A different manager called and assured me that they will make improvements and things will change. He's assurance was not accurate cause nothing has changed, things have even gotten worse. What seems like retaliation for reporting. Since nothing can be done, I'm advising my relatives and friends to use the store in VESTAVIA they have excellent customer service and they don't treat club members like the aforementioned. There is something for any part of my body I want to work on with easy to follow instructions. There are plenty of treadmills and ellipticals so there is no waiting. If you want to watch tv, there are plenty of those, with remotes at each machine. The treadmills also have a charging cable for iphones and a usb port. I have not had any interaction with the staff except for joining and asking for (& receiving) the wifi password. A little more 'presence' & friendliness would be nice, but that's just me. They have a substantial area for weightlifting, cardio, and functional training. I also like that this location is kept up well. It's very clean and organized pretty well. They also have a studio room where it seems they hold classes from time to time. They have 4 bathrooms/showers and 2 changing rooms as well which are up to date. It also has a large parking lot so no worries there at all. I will say some of the equipment is not the most current, but it is well kept which is something I cannot say for all gyms with older equipment. Overall this gym is one of the nicest Anytime locations I've seen. I'll definitely be coming back soon!

When I signed up I was told he would be allowed to work out with me under my supervision and he did. He came with me on another visit, and the young man at the desk was extremely rude. Stating he could not work out. At that point, I tried to cancel my membership, because being unable to work out with my son was a dealbreaker for me. The rudeness of the young man was to the point that I called the regional manager. They told me they would make an exception, but honestly, I was just done. Echoing what another reviewer said - it is almost impossible to cancel a membership here. Turns out my membership was not canceled at the time, and that's on me for not following up. But when I realized I was still being charged it was back running through the hoops again. It's a shame because I loved the facility and met several nice members. The people I've dealt with on the phone seem young and take a cancellation personally.

The women's sauna is constantly broken or smells like sewage, and it's been that way long enough that it's clearly not a priority to fix. They also completely erased a huge part of the club's community when they removed the basketball courts. That space brought people together, and replacing it with indoor pickleball--without asking members--says everything about how decisions are made here. Most of the events are geared toward the senior population, so calling this place an "athletic country club" feels misleading. And the last‑minute changes to heated classes, suddenly moving them outdoors when it's 60 degrees and cloudy, make no sense. It feels like they're sacrificing quality just to squeeze in more bodies. It was heartbreaking to lose the cycle classes as that was the only community I had been able to build there. When the gym is crowded, it's barely usable. I've seen the saunas so packed that people are standing shoulder to shoulder. It's uncomfortable and defeats the purpose entirely. And while most of the staff are friendly, it's hard not to notice that some employees show up smelling like weed, which doesn't exactly match the "premium" image they're trying to sell.
