I am a visitor from out of town and was able to download a free one day pass so I could work out. Gym itself is very spacious and lots of parking. Front desk staff was very friendly, courteous, and efficient. It was super easy to redeem my free day pass and didn't need to present anything as I registered online (super easy as well). I took a 30 min cardio sculpt class and a 30 min band camp class in the group X room. Unfortunately I did not get the instructor's name (class schedule is updated in real time online so it's not showing) but she was very cold towards me and not personable as I was the only male in the class and my instincts told me she was not comfortable with that. We walked through the doors to the smell of old building/old gym smell to then find out there Isnt a Kids Club at this location anymore. We will not be able to come to this location. read more

My boyfriend and I joined Crunch in Eagle because we just wanted something simple and affordable. Big mistake. They call constantly, trying to push us into meeting with their "fitness manager," which is just a sales trap for outrageously overpriced personal training sessions nobody asked for. It feels less like a gym and more like a telemarketer with dumbbells. The place is filthy. My boyfriend used the men's showers one time and will never do it again. He said the floors were covered in this greenish slime, slippery even with shower shoes. Health-code-who? The machines aren't much better. One of them literally loosens the pin while you use it, so you're constantly resetting it unless you want to get launched into orbit. (If I wanted a surprise flight, I'd at least book Delta. That's the joke. Don't hurt me.) On top of that, their "cheap" membership isn't actually cheap. You can't sign up for the basic tier without paying over $100 in fees, BUT during the trial they'll happily steer you into the $30/month plan because that one has no sign-up fees. Classic bait-and-switch. Their class schedule is a joke unless you're unemployed or live in a different time dimension. Almost everything is during normal work hours. And the massage chairs they brag about? They're basically mall massage chairs someone threw a purple LED on. If you only need a place to swipe in and lift some weights, and you don't mind grime, upsells, or random mechanical hazards, then maybe it's worth it. Rude and dismissive management. Existing membership mishandled after Villa Sport Fitness took over the former Crunch Fitness Eagle location. I purchased a two-year membership that included guest privileges. That benefit was important to me and factored into my decision to join. After the ownership change, the rules were changed and the guest privilege was removed or restricted, despite the membership already being paid for. When I tried to address this directly with management, the interaction was unpleasant. The manager I spoke with was dismissive and rude, and my concern about the altered membership terms was not meaningfully addressed. Instead, the response focused on unrelated personal training purchases, which does not resolve the issue of changing paid membership benefits after the fact. A change in ownership should not mean that existing memberships lose their original terms. I recommend prospective members ask very specific questions and get everything in writing. read more

This location is filthy. The men's bathroom is awful. The owner should be ashamed of how this place is maintained. There's usually trash on the gym floor at any given time. Limited variety of machines and if you plan on going at any normal time, expect to wait for the machine you want to use. I can't wait for Lifetime Fitness to open. Over all the location is decent. Wide variety of machines. All are clean and all of them work. Staff is friendly. Has a 3 pools, sauna, HITT spot, and basketball court. But the women's showers are disgusting and the bathroom is old. I would suggest using the meridian location if you have to shower after your workout. But if you don't, the location is decent enough! Definitely could use an update considering the location it's in and the clientele that most likely goes there. read more

I've be asking for a couple of months to please remove the masking tape on the workout floor where classes are held. It is very old tape that is not used. When classes are full we can't avoid the two large hopscotch shapes. This is dangerous if our shoes should trip on it!!!! Some of us are elderly and have mobility issues. This facility is the filthiest gym I have ever belonged to. Even after complaining to staff nothing is done to clean . The floors are filthy and have not been cleaned . The mirrors in the aerobic room have had the same handprtint smears on it for months. Like the other posts read the dust and lint balls cover the floor. I have been working with Isaac Del Valle, a Personal Trainer at Crunch Eagle, for the past 10 months. I have to say that Isaac has changed my life. Although I am a 68 year old female, I was fairly new to gyms and totally new to weight lifting and strength training. Under Isaac's guidance, I have lost 49 pounds, have gained a lot of muscle, and am healthier than I have been in years. Isaac was so very patient with me as I began my journey, yet he consistently pushes me to exceed what I think I can do. He is knowledgeable and so very personable. Heather is a fantastic instructor! Her class is very popular because it's challenging and fun and feels like a community of friends. You don't have to be an athlete. Each person is encouraged to "Listen to your body" and to do what is most comfortable. The moves are almost like dancing and I always feel happy in my body and in my mind when I leave. Heather is loved personally and as a leader in improving our health and strength. She's terrific and is the reason this Crunch class is a big success! read more

Nice gym itself, however the pool is constantly being occupied by the swim school all day every weekday which makes it hard to have space to swim in. I wouldn't mind it so much usually, but I'm paying for a membership that includes the pool, and there's just never room for members to actually use it. Thanks for reading! :) read more

Great location, good equipment. My only complaint is they need to focus on cleanlines. They used to have some great employees who were always cleaning. Now no one cleans. There is dust and lint balls under the free weights and the locker room smells like urine. There are always a few broken urinals filled with pee. Maintenance and Cleanliness needs to be their priorit. read more

They replied over 2 years ago on a previous yelp review of mine but never solved the problem. -- end of update Management and staff there is very friendly but ... Unmaintained equipment, an elliptical has been broken for years, I even notified them about it years ago. Guest wifi has been down for months, shows up on phone but you can't connect. Overcrowded, counted over 40 (mostly teens) in the back weight room section alone. They have buckets catching leaks during rain, but that has been an issue since the building was built. I had been a member of the club even before the current building was built, around 20 years but then I let my membership lapse a week ago after trying to work with management on the problems. On some issues, management admits that their hands are tied and is corporate level. If management reads this, they know who I am. I wish there were more options in Eagle. read more

Went for the 7 day pass to get a feel for the facility. Overall, what a smelly, dirt/filthy stuffy building. Went in on a Sunday to the women's locker room which stunk, trash cans overflowing, moldy old outdated shower fixture, shower curtains that looked 15 years old. Crunch Fitness in Eagle is a joke and so is the manager Preston. I signed up with Preston and he promised NO annual membership fees. Subsequently I was charged for them. Then I started reading reviews and apparently I'm not the only one. When I signed up, I got "the tour" and was shown the best parts of the gym. After a couple month I realized what a crap hole this place is. The locker room is disgusting and the toilets are constantly backed up with floating poop. And then came "trash can season" as another reviewer put it. The staff puts out trash cans all over the gym to catch roof leaks. And it's been going on for years. All I can think of is how much mold is in the ceilings and how much of that crap are members are breathing in... Another review claims sexual harassment and reported it to the manager and he did nothing about it??? He is a young man who works an very early morning shift responsible to open the doors by 4:30 am. Crunch Fitness in Eagle needs to clean up their act. With "new management" we thought we would see change. Nope! Same Ol' gross gym. Same Ol' staff sitting behind their desks on cell phones. Staff doesn't maintain cleanliness at this location. They never seem to update any of the equipment, instead they just replace parts on tired old equipment (but even this takes weeks, if not months). Over flowing trashes and Paper towels on the ground is a common occurrence in the locker rooms. Front door was broke and chained with a master lock for 6 months, felt like we were going into a crime scene for a workout. I had an opportunity to speak with the General Manager; loud TV sportscasting is here to stay. If you are loud noise adverse, this is not your club. It's like working out in a sports bar without the alcohol. To carry on a conversation or get instructions the other person must shout over the din of the TVs to be understood. I will try earplugs on my next visit, but that may not be an efficient method when working out with a personal trainer. read more

I'm from out of town but visit every few months and have an amazing experience every time! The staff is always super friendly and helpful and there's lots of equipment to choose from. Also after seeing a negative review saying this place is 'loud like a sports bar' I'd like to chime in and say people just like to complain because they have nothing else better to do, this gym is rather quiet compared to most gyms I've been to. It's a fine gym, but it's really annoying that the swim school takes up almost the entire pool area for most of the day every single weekday. I understand if they took the lanes, or took the center pool. But they take up the entire center pool, over half the lanes, and all the little siblings of the kids learning to swim all occupy the shallow pool. read more

The sauna, the pool, the lockers, the bathrooms, floors, walls all grimey and gross. Neglect of thus facility is an understatement. You should be embarrassed as to how this place looks. I use the pool very often as a triathlete. Ever since WaterWings took over the pool is a hot 86 degrees. For lap swimmers this is awful. The water is WARMER THAN COZUMEL Mexico AND HAWAII ocean water. For reference, Therapy Pools are kept at 89-94 degrees. So basically the lap swimming pool is nearly the same temperature as the Therapy pool they have. Many of us complained and asked to have pool turned down to a normal 82 numerous times yet nothing seems to be done. Been fighting this issue for months. Also, lots of equipment upstairs has broken pieces so you can't use the 5lb increments. Overall not sure why I keep coming back. Maybe because it's so close to home anything else is inconvenient. And I need a pool to swim at. read more

Crunch Fitness in eagle has seen better days. I had a membership pre-covid and enjoyed coming to this gym. After recently moving back and figuring I would give it another shot I was surprised to see how run down the place had become. The roof had water leaks and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Going to other Crunch locations I was surprised at the difference, If you are looking for up to date equipment and cleanliness, Crunch Fitness in Eagle is NOT for you. I'm not really a 'people person' so gyms typically are a no go for me. I was a member at the Y for probably 20 years at least until I decided I don't want to drive down Eagle Rd anymore....joined Crunch earlier this week (so I'm shocked that I'm even writing a review)....I've been a on a few occasions at different times to see how busy it typically gets and if I'd ever not be able to get on a machine...to my surprise it's never too busy and I'm able to get on all the machines I like.... The ONLY thing that should be changed...when I signed up, no one offered a tour. First world problems-I get it. Other than that it's been a great experience! read more

I just signed a multi-year contract because I love the pool at the Eagle facility . I signed up with Josh because Josh told me that there is no longer swim team and that kids under the age of 18 are not allowed in the pool area without a guardian. Both of these are lies. Not only is there still swim team but the entire pool area has been sold to water wings Swim Center . The lap pool is not available to Crunch members until after 7:30 because the pool is for the water wings clients . Teenagers are allowed in the pool whenever they want to as long as their family are members. Three teens were in the sauna and one of them peed in there . There's absolutely no staff members that monitor the pool area because it's owned by the water wings facility , and according to the girl at the front desk today they have no power to do anything in the pool or make any requests of guests because it's owned by a different company. read more
