Facilities were clean looking, equipment looked clean and up to date, and I was quite happy to see people actually wipe the equipment after use (you'd be surprised the scarcity of that). So I was excited to see our gym was gonna get remodeled and updated by Crunch. I was one of the first members to sign up under the promise that we would have founders pricing locked into our account. Last year they tried to increase my price by 50% and I was able to go in and have them fix it. This year they increased it again, charging me without notice. When I went to have them fix it they said they are no longer honoring founders pricing. I visit the gym maybe once every month or two it's just not worth it at that point so I canceled. I told the guy at the front I was coming from the Winter Garden location (which I already hated because the equipment is constantly broken and the place is full of posers who hog machines for 20 minutes at a time just to film themselves). I was upfront: I just wanted to test-drive Ocoee to see if it would actually fit my schedule. I was even willing to pay for a day pass right then and there--no strings attached. Instead of letting me do that, they had all my info on file and immediately launched into a hard sell for the "business membership." I kept saying I'd be happy to start with the top-tier regular membership and upgrade later if I liked it (which they themselves told me I could do anytime). Nope. He wouldn't run the regular membership. It was business or nothing, and the pressure just kept coming. I literally ran out of time, got frustrated, and walked out without ever seeing the inside of the gym. Straight to Fitness CF I went, signed up on the spot, and I'm already happy with my decision. Crunch Ocoee had a guaranteed new member standing right there ready to pay and they chose to push me out the door instead. Their loss, 100%. 1/10 CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS & PROFESSIONALISM - why was i blocked on social media?! - Bri, the GM I'm an (happy) active crunch member, since 2021. sunday - we come in for FREE friend weekend, not one of the six people at the desk knew about it... but we were able to work out tuesday - we come in with a buddy pass & one friend wasn't allowed to enter, so my friend paid $15 to buy a day pass, no problem * wednesday - we come in once more & this time try to use the buddy pass as we were told on our way out the day before, & we were greeted with hostility by the GM, Bri. my friend made a comment "we will just file a complaint" & that's where it really took off. bri told us to grab our things & leave the facility immediately she then proceeded to call the police, to escort us out. i can honestly vouch for myself, & my two other friends that we are very calm & peaceful people. so to be asked to leave & then have law enforcement there to escort us, was a first time for all of us! we then made our statements on our personal social medias, in which we were blocked on all accounts. none of this solves the problems that were presented. we enjoy the facility & some of the staff has been very kind to us. this is my experience here, i hope it ends with me & that you have a very positive one. kindly, MC read more

Been coming here since this reopened as a crunch in 2024. I like to come here as an alternative to the winter garden location. Has pool and a ton more space than that location. What I like is what feels to be spacious on most times during Sat and Sundays. Usually do not have to wait very long, if any, for equipment. Restrooms also have a large amount of capacity. About 90% of the equipment is up and running with some broken things here and there. Cleanliness is 3/5 which occasional restroom attention is needed. I've taken the Ride class which has great instructors and usually can get a spot but sometimes are on the early side for me on weekends. read more

Dear Crunch Fitness Team, I am writing to formally report a very disappointing experience I had while attempting to cancel my membership. On March 20, 2026, around 6:00 PM, I visited your Silver Star location to cancel my membership. Upon arriving, I stood at the counter while the manager continued checking in other members without acknowledging me or asking how he could assist. Even after briefly asking what I needed, he continued to prioritize others and left me waiting. When he eventually assisted me, he reviewed my account and incorrectly stated that I opened my membership at a different location (first Belle Isle, then Casselberry). I explained multiple times that I signed up at the Silver Star location and have never visited those other locations, as they are not convenient to me. Despite this, he dismissed my statements and made me feel as though I was being dishonest. The situation became even more frustrating when I was told I would be required to pay nearly $100, including an annual fee scheduled for mid-April. I questioned why I would be responsible for this fee if I was canceling prior to that time. When I asked for documentation showing where I agreed to these terms, the manager was unable to provide proof and simply repeated that it was "policy." Additionally, I am aware of others who have canceled at this same location without being charged these fees, which makes this situation even more concerning. Overall, the manager was dismissive, unhelpful, and provided some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Most importantly, he refused to process my cancellation. read more

This site is horribly managed. there has been no hot water in the showers for a month. The whirlpool was closed last December and if you ask at the front desk as to the status, they just say they don't know, which is actually the worst response you could give a customer. Sometimes the music is so loud that you can't listen to your own music. They should look around and notice that the majority of people are trying to listen to the music they like and lower the volume. read more

They have the most terrible customer service!!! The front desk people are not nice. I was told they would offer me a free first time personal training session and was charged $10. The point is not the $10 the point to me was the fact that I was charged this without being told. In addition to that when I cancelled my membership I was told that I needed to pay for two months in order to cancel. What a scam! My husband has been trying to cancel for MONTHSSSSS!! He has sent emails and called multiple times and they still try to charge our cc. It's disgusting how they take advantage of peoples hard earned money! I don't have a problem with the place or the people. I really like the place but there's something I don't really like about it. I pay the 25 something amount at month to be able to get the clases and all that , but something I don't want to do clase but I still want to bike and use the bikes on the studio because they are good quality and work better than the bikes outside that they are bad quality and really are not close at all like the ones on the studio . I think we should have a least 2 or 3 bikes like the studios ones outside because if I pay that membership I should be able to used don't matter if there's not clases . I'm really mad about it . This is the best crunch location in my opinion it has the most room and very spread out with multiple training areas . They have several machines for every body part you want to work out . They also have a pool , jacuzzi , and saunas in both bathroom. I never have trouble finding a machine and there is always plenty of place for me to stretch or do my own workout without feeling crowded . I only wish the colonial location was This nice , they do not have half the equipment but are ten times busier ??? Doesn't make sense. When you call, they will tell you to email, when you do, they ignore your email. There is no one there that willing render any help. Even the owner will read all reviews and only respond to the 5-star reviews. That means the owner doesn't care either. This location is perfect for me! I usually go to the Belle Isle location because it's closer to home. But I've been coming to the Ocoee location as often as I can after work because it's only 10 minutes away from my office. Staff are pretty nice. There's plenty of new equipment. Love that they have a large indoor pool and little childcare area for busy parents to get their exercise in while their kids play. I don't have children but it's perfect for my colleague when her and I work out together while her son runs around. This gym is pretty spacious and there's lots of equipment. I normally don't have to wait to jump on a machine even during peak times. Everyone here is really nice and pretty much keeps to themselves. No one here ever bothers me. Which is perfect! After interacting with patients all day, I come here to release stress, pump some iron, and go on about my business. I don't typically do many reviews but I felt forewarning potential customers of this gym of their shady practices and overall membership policies. First off, folks should probably should be aware should you decide to join Crunch they will lock into either your bank account or credit card. So be aware that should you have any desire to cancel your membership for any reason, they control your funds (period) I signed up for a basic plan at 9.99 / month (advertised boldly on their site). But in reality, you'll never pay 9.99 / month. The reality is you'll pay around $100+ for the initial signup for this plan. Breakdown will generally be as follows: Monthly Fee: $ 9.99 Monthly Processing Fee: $ 2.25 Annual Fee: $59.99 Enrollment Fee: $75.00 Initial Monthly Dues: $ 9.99 Annual Fee (Pro-Rated). $10.00 Add in taxes to the total and you'll be a bit over $100 If you'll pay attention to what you're being charged you'll see the "Monthly Fee" and "Initial Monthly Dues" are the same so you get charged twice for the falsely advertised monthly fee of $9.99 before you've even used the facility. My 1st issue is that there is absolute zero reasonable justification to double the monthly fee upon signup except to stack up their own revenue. Also, contrary to their "BOLD" advertised $9.99 / month you will continually pay $2.25 additional for their monthly processing fee. So the actual amount you'll pay for the stated $9.99 / month will actually be $12.24 / month. The cost being less important to me than the slick way they raised the monthly amount. Then there's the very "fine" print that they'll use to justify the charge when you realize they're taking more than the advertisedd $9.99 / month where they'll then state that the monthly fee is $12.24. Also, in addition to the charges you may agree to... if you fail to read the fine print of which they won't be fully transparent with unless you specifically ask it states upon signing up. It basically says that in addition to the pro-rated, non-refundable Annual fee of $10 stated; you'll again pay the annual fee 3 months after you've signed up. IDK but the last time I checked "Annual" meant once per year. So they're obviously redefining the word. So if you're smart enough to do the math, you'll pay the annual fee twice within the 1st year of your signup. Of course, you want realize it until you see the charge taken from your account and question it. At which time they'll quote you their fine print and you won't have any choice but to suck it up and realize you've been taken. If you get annoyed with the shear lack of transparency and full disclosure during your signup and decide you perhaps would like to cancel. There's yet another portion of their fine print stating that they will take the 2nd annual fee within 3 months of your signup regardless. So if you proceed to cancel and simply accept that 2nd annual charge as a penalty for trusting them and their process, think you'll be done with it?? Well, think again..... Because they will also charge you for every single month from the time you signed up equivalent to a full 12 months. Meaning you will not only pay double on the annual membership on the 1st year of signing up; but for all the months remaining you will also pay although your cancellation will void your use of the facility altogether. Lastly and most annoying, although they have all your personal information in their systems including your picture ID, bank account / Credit Card info and etc .......should you call to cancel your membership you'll be told that you have to personally come in to do that. I asked why and was informed that there is too much paperwork that you'll have to sign in person to cancel the membership over the phone. As senseless as that sounded (since there was hardly any paperwork involved during the signup when they required my banking and/or CC into AND the fact that you can signup online without coming in at all)....... I simply agreed to come in. At which time there was no paperwork required..... it was actually to ensure I knew in person that they were going to take the full amount of my monthly membership for all the months remaining since the initial time I joined equivalent to 12 months from my account; PLUS whatever other ungodly charges they could come up with. So now you've been WARNED of their practices and procedures. Join and they'll lock onto your financial account and you'll have no choice but to watch while they control "your" money and will take from you whether you agree to their practices or not. You'll have zero ability to stop them. I wouldn't recommend them to an enemy and much less to any family or friends. TOO SHADY and DISHONEST. Join at your own risk now knowing what I've already found out the hard way; and trust......you'll also pay if you do. Also.... you can check the companies BBB rating if in doubt. When I went in to go cancel my gym membership in January I was told I had to pay 30 days out to cancel so I had to pay the fee twice which is fine but I was charged three times. Both cards (a debit and credit card) I used were used online in fraud attempts 2-3 days later and one of the cards (my debit) I use exclusively for autopay payments- so the only place it could have occurred from was here. Still fine, I just got two new cards and moved on but then two months later I was charged AGAIN for the gym membership and club flees because they said my membership was never cancelled. The customer service is terrible here aside and a lot of the employees are rude- aside from Maria at the front desk. Would not recommend this gym at all to anyone. read more

what a scam i was offered a 30 day trial for 25 cent by a African American short hair lady that works there and told I had until the 19th of Feb to cancel if I didn't like it I go to cancel on the 18th and I'm told i have a 3 month commitment that I must follow. When i got there today on the 18th the payment is already processing when the girl lied and said i had until the 19th to cancel why would i waste my time going there if that's not what I was told. The gym looks amazing and clean. I'm disappointed in the training sessions. I scheduled my "Jump Start" session, this is where you get your evaluation and the trainer takes your measurements at 7AM. I arrived 6:45AM, excited to start my fitness journey..... 7:15AM, a young lady said Mo is running late , 7:25 I politely left as I had to prepare for work and this session was suppose to be a full hour. I did call the gym back to ask for the supervisor, Grant who later return my call later that day and told me he would reschedule me with another trainer for Saturday. I waited for the call..... Grant never rescheduled the session. The trainer that was late did call and apologized and said that the another trainer scheduled me on the wrong day, which is weird because he was there when the guy scheduled me and we confirmed the dates. He did give me an extra session, I have already paid for 23. I'm just disappointed because of the lack of professionalism. The training sessions are not cheap $220 per week and I would at least like for the trainers to show up on time and management to follow up. I'm still going to continue my journey but I scheduled the rest of my sessions to be done later on in the day because that is what works for them, obviously 7AM is too early. Wish me luck read more

This location is amazing 5/5. I came here to check it out because I normally venture to the one in winter garden. The space is HUGE, I felt like there was more equipment and space to get your workout done. They also have a pool, child care and 3 tanning rooms, 3 compression chairs, a hydro massage and cryotherapy bed. I tried the compression chair as the cryotherapy bed was not available. I sat in and it started, it was good until Bri asked how I was doing. She asked me if I tried the zero gravity, showed me the sound feature and it completely went beyond my expectations. I really appreciated her help significant m and it made this experience amazing! Such a great person to go above and beyond like that for me that I wanted to make sure to mention her name. When I was leaving I asked how to leave a review or comment for an employee and Robert assisted me with saying all social media and gave me a welcoming feeling. You did an amazing job with the staff, this place is truly amazing. I'm happy this location is near to me! I can't wait to come back. read more

It is with my broken and anguished heart that I come to write this review. I've been working out in this location for almost a year and have always found the environment welcoming. The front deck staff are always very receptive and friendly and ready to help and my 6 year old son has always really enjoyed staying in the kids room with JoJo and Nancy who have always been extremely careful and attentive, but yesterday 11/13/2014 when I went to pick him up from the kids' room, the person in charge told me that they had grounded him and he was terrified because he was always a child that I never had any complaints about. Unfortunately, when he was playing he jumped into a mini house and hit another boy who was inside the mini house and the people responsible decided to punish him for that. Unfortunately, accidents can happen to children in the play area, but it was the attitude of the caregivers that scared me. They grounded my son for God knows how long without my authorization and when I went to question her she said that it was in the contract I signed that they could punish my son. I asked her to read this clause to me and she read it with complete confidence and there was nothing stating that they could punish children. I went to the front desk and spoke to the manager who was very understanding and apologized and went to speak to the group who were working in the children's room. When I entered the room the employee was giving me dirty looks and at no point did those responsible apologize for their actions towards me or my son. So parents be very careful because if they did this to a 6 year old child, imagine what they could do to younger children. The manager said that the name of the worker who did this was JOICE, so parents be very careful and NEVER let your children stays during their shift. Unfortunately I had to cancel Kids for my son and he made me promise that I would never, ever, ever take him back there. I've gotten charged for classes I never signed up for. Went in to dispute this charge and they act incompetent. sorry but it's ridiculous. I come back again because they say that my form of payment is declined and need a different form of payment but they have two different forms on file. Weeks pass by and I get charged a late fee for whatever reason and when I go in, a rude employee gets in my face with an annoyed look and states that they cannot refund a late fee even though they charged my form of payment 4 times already. She tries to discredit me by stating that she has no time to deal with me and that clearly "i don't get it" bc I don't speak "proper" english. I've gone with my younger daughter multiple times and even she has gotten flustered with how they run their gym. I will never be going back to these unprofessional people who try to steal your money.
