If you do, then you will stay away from dealing with her. Here is what happened: We made connection with Sandy for one of our clients (Mr.D) during December 2015 for his trip to US. We found Sandy on her Virtuoso website, and worked with her to design Mr.D's travel plans. She did take care of our client, and she made a profit of close to $1000. At the time of closing the sale, early December, she agreed and she gave in writing that she would part with our 10% commission as a finder's fee. I kept in regular touch with her, and during mid-May, I confronted her as to why it's taking so long. And, then she exploded. She went into a crazy email rant about her business ethics and how the measly 10% commission doesn't matter to her because she is doing a great volume of business. Well, I thought, may be, there is a method behind the 'Sandy craziness', and she would keep her word. But, no, not in Sandy's case, because Sandy is all about skirting, and avoiding the issue as best as she can. Till date, we have reminded her multiple times, invoiced her, and even given our legal counsel address for mailing the check. A 10% commission on her profits equals $100 - is not a huge difference in the grand scheme of things. What matters is how Sandy treats her business clients/partners. As I stated earlier, princess Sandy feels written words don't make a difference as long as she has her way. I know Virtuoso agents are top notch, because we do work with a few of them. Having worked with other Virtuoso agents, none of them come close to Sandy, in terms of delivering the most disgusting and horrible experience that you can imagine. Just another "All Talk No Action" Star, no respect for other people's time, and values commitment like a toilet paper. ====== Response to her comment on 7/15: -------------------------------------------- As if --- Sandy would do the right thing! I saw her response, and .... YAWN!!!! She claims the address provided to her is incorrect, and bounced. Well, that's our legal counsel and as far as I can tell they are still there. Well, let's give her the benefit of doubt. May be she is right, and may be, I gave her the incorrect address, because I don't want to get paid. Right? Really? I have to be a genius to give an invalid address to collect payments owed to our business. After been in touch with Sandy for more than 6 months, we knew sleazy sandy will not deliver. Which is why we sent her an email invoice on May 26th with credit card instructions. What does Sandy do? Like any B-grade professional, ignore and go on to Yelp to put up a defense only misquoting again as to what happened.

Came across Eden Vale Inn when looking for a place to stay for a rafting trip with All-Outdoors on…read morethe American River. It's such a cute inn! We checked in after 6pm, so check in instructions were texted to us. Easy to follow. Was easy to find. We stopped at Wally's Pizza for dinner in Cameron Park based off their restaurant suggestions on their website and sent via text check in instructions. Great suggestion! The next mornings breakfast is texted the night before, offering some options like juice preference. And it's delivered around 9am the next morning. Since we had to be at rafting at 9 our first morning at the Inn, they delivered us fruit, scones, and juice early at 8:15am which was really nice. Breakfast was delicious, both mornings. And super fresh. We stayed in the Cypress room. Was as pictured online. Room was clean. The patio area is nice. We explored the grounds a bit our last morning and saw many places to sit around. We enjoyed some time up at the pond in the morning. The staff - I assume owners - were very friendly. We were very happy with our stay here and would return!

I found this gem on Air BNB and the owner, Robert, was very patient and accommodating with me. And let me tell y'all that I can be a pill when making business deals. So I looked for a place near Jackson, CA a month ago because I knew I was going to be on assignment there for a week. I did not want to stay in a hotel because I love being home and since I could not travel back and forth to my house in Sac, I decided to get me a place where I could at least cook when I wanted to and take a long, hot shower at my leisure. And I did not want to be looking for a wireless signal through the walls of a hotel. Bottom line I wanted my own space bigger than a postage stamp. So I looked at a few places and settled on The Bungalow because it looked cute and rustic and was 10 steps away from downtown & Main Street. From the beginning Robert was VERY responsive. He was also two things that are a challenge to be with me--PATIENT & ACCOMMODATING. I asked questions from the beginning about where the house was, what was provided, what was included, and could I get a reduced rate because I was staying a whole week. He patiently answered all my questions and then went on to accommodate me by telling me about the city/town where I would be staying. He also relayed that I would be the first one to stay in the house and that I could check in early and check out late if need be. Also, he gave me a rate! So I kept in touch but did not book. A week before I was due to come out I texted Robert about booking. He was PATIENT & ACCOMMODATING again and was very amenable to my terms. I even added a guest at the last minute and it was not a problem. I did; however, change my check in time and wanted to arrive early. He accommodated that as well but told me he would be in San Francisco and would leave the key for me at his Inn. I booked and it charged me the full rate. I contacted Robert to let him know and he graciously worked out the kinks as we were both new to Air BNB. He asked me to give him time and what else could I be but PATIENT & ACCOMMODATING y'all! Great, great guy. So I get to the house and it is cute. Perfectly represented online but no key. I went to the Inn and it was not there either. Turns out that the housekeeper had left the key in the house and the back door open for me. No worries. Get to the house again and Amazing it was! Beautiful. Robert calls on the house line to make sure I am good and that did it for me. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because there are two ceiling fans in the house that are old and the shakes hard when used. Plus they do not go with the decor of the house. This house is a great mix of modern and antique and it looks great. Ceiling fans are old and seem a little loose but they work. The second bedroom does not have a ceiling fan and could use one as well. What is also awesome about his space is that every last need is catered to. Both showers, oh yes did I mention two en suite bedrooms? Both showers included soaps, shampoos, and conditioners. The kitchen has EVERYTHING! Down to the seasonings for food in the cabinets! The kitchen is fully stocked, even with wine glasses! This is wine country and Robert thought of everything, or Mrs. Robert did I am sure. There are extra towels, a washer and dryer that comes with detergent and bleach y'all! Outdoor seating is provided on the front and back porches and there is private parking for one car in front of the house. One other complaint is that there is no choice to pull a shade down on the front door. The front door is beautiful and has a beautiful glass insert that looks out into the street and you can see in. I had to put up foil to cover it as I like to move around and do not like knowing someone could be on the street seeing me thusly. The Bungalow is so beautifully appointed and well thought out that these few mismatched things are of no issue. It does not come with housekeeping and I am not the type to even want housekeeping when in a hotel. Hence the reason for me wanting a private home. This home is not lived in and is rented and that is a great thing. I love The Bungalow and will be back to explore the town and stay there. Robert has not come over to meet me as of yet but I will make sure that I go and meet him before I leave. Great property, great owner, great week. I will update this review when I leave.

The owner, Raven, greeted us. She was friendly, sweet and pleasant. We loved the rustic vibe of the motel and Raven's generosity in offering access to amenities at the motel. Unfortunately an issue developed before we finished checking in. We saw but did not occupy a small room. We discussed the issue with Raven and she was open, honest and mature. We ended up leaving without staying. Raven was good to her word and kept her promises. The issue isn't important. We wish Raven and her beautiful business well and appreciate the integrity she demonstrated.
