We were invited to camp at the property but I am a princess and need amenities. Hubby found this cottage on the web. It exponentially exceeded my expectations. The one bedroom cottage has a full kitchen and backyard seating area. It is just lovely. The owner Nancy lives in the front house and her special touches are what impressed me the most. Before we arrived she sent a list of restaurants and wineries to visit. The cottage is stocked with treats, coffee, dishes, spices, magazines and nicely decorated. She provides far more than any other rental of it's type we have stayed at. It was so inviting and comfortable. My delight on entering reminded my of visits thankfully paid by my employer to the Four Seasons in Punta Mita, Mexico and The Rome Hilton on the hill. I am not comparing the amenities just the feeling of delight on having the opportunity to stay at an exceptional place. We could have paid $99 a night for 2 nights but stayed 1 night for $169. A great value. My highest recommendation.

I always say the most important thing in a hotel/b&b is the bed. Their king sized bed did not disappoint, it was very comfy and had awesome pillows. There were even little chocolates left on the nightstand. The best part about this place is the location - literally right next door to Perry Creek Winery (try their Zinman) and Windwalker (we like their Sierra Sunset wine). Make sure to pack carrots and apples because they have two beautiful horses you can feed in the early morning. If you are looking for something luxurious this isn't the place - but if you want privacy and relaxation it is perfect. I felt it was a bit overpriced at $179 (196 after taxes).. but I suppose thats because we booked for just one night and on a Saturday. Overall a good choice for anyone looking for a romantic weekend away.

We had the pleasure of attending a wedding here a few weeks ago and it was so beautiful ! The…read more ceremony was in a woodsy area surrounded by willowy trees and lush green moss. It was open and airy and had fairytale hobbit vibes ! I loved all the natural atm ! The reception was held outdoors under a large white tent with long tables . The cocktail hour and dancing was held in the open air barn space that was decorated with cabin like decor and great lighting . Behind the barn they had cool little chickens running around and lots of space for guests to roam around if they choose . It was so cute and fun! The location is a little bit of a drive from larger cities . Coming from Sacramento, it look about a hour drive . I believe they have rooms and even camping site to stay at if you wanted to stay overnight . What a great space for a wedding or whatever else celebration! The staff was nice , the parking was convenient. I would be excited to visit again if an opportunity comes up !
