Crust do great pizzas. Oh sure, they do pastas and salads and deserts as well, but it's the pizza that'll get you. And by 'get you', I mean trounce your current favourite and keep you coming back. Crust pizzas are 'gourmet', you see. That word's flung about liberally these days but occasionally you happen across a place that justifies its use. Crust is such a place.
Think carefully prepared dishes using whole, fresh, real ingredients, and you'll be in the ball park. Crust have several outlets throughout Melbourne and their particularly good app will locate your nearest one. For me, that's currently their Brunswick store. I should add, I've only ever had these delivered. Delivery is typically 30-60 minutes. They're guilty of that 'free delivery above $25 so let's price things at $24' trick, but their pizzas are fully customisable so a quick dash of something extra can get you bang-on delivery minimums without too much fuss.
So far, so good. So why not a 5-star celebration of love and positivity? Well, sometimes - just sometimes - Crust will serve you a dud. Maybe slightly overcooked. Perhaps a hint of chilli on a totally chilliless dish (kudos for creating a new word, please). 90% of the time they hit the mark all the time. So they're kind of a big deal.
I'd seriously recommend stepping up your game and giving these guys a try. read more
