Excellent local coffee shop, better quality than Starbucks. The hours of operation are terrible, must be a hobby for the owners.

Tried Crux for the first time today and I am so happy I decided to bypass my favorite (Starbucks). Based on other yelp reviews, I decided to order a caramel iced latte and it is so delicious! There is a $5 minimum to use a debit/credit card, so I had to order an additional menu item. I went with a macaron. It was good, but I do think the price is a bit much for one (not sure what the exact cost is, but my bill went from under $5 to over $7). Overall, I will definitely be stopping in again for coffee. read more

Awesome local coffee shop with pour over, great espresso drinks and nitro cold brew. They have a nice selection of pastries and sell beans by the pound as well. Staff is always very friendly, especially the owners themselves. read more

Better than Starbucks on every imaginable scale. Crux is a clean, family run coffee house, operated daily by the husband and wife owners. They roast their own coffee beans on site (meaning super fresh coffee), and they care about their customers (meaning excellent customer service). I'd give this place 5 stars, but I think there's always room for growth and improvement. For example, their wi-fi internet connection is adequate for checking email and browsing the web, but it could certainly be faster. Overall though, I truly enjoy bringing my laptop into Crux, sipping a latte, and getting some serious work/writing done. :) read more

Hurrah! We finally have a super legit coffee bar! Oceana is lovely, but Crux is the real deal. Pour overs, intense cold brew, nitro... On the merits of the coffee I ordered, this coffee roaster is exceptional. They have a very large number of options to choose from and then grind the beans to order before using a pour over method. My coffee was strong (how I prefer) and very hot and flavorful. The women that took my order was very friendly. The atmosphere is a bit sterile and bare, not the normal cozy coffee house ambience. Prices are a bit on the high side for a daily cup, but ok for an occasional visit. read more

Went in for he first time and the girl at he front was very helpful and friendly. Something I don't see much of these days. I got my vanilla caramel latte fast and it was delicious! Also so cheap! I think it was 4.80 for a large. Every time I get Starbucks it ends up being way more haha. read more

Love CCR! I've been waiting to see a great little non-chain coffee shop in Jupiter, and this one hits the spot. It reminds me a lot of the coffee shops I loved back home in NY. They roast the coffee beans right there in premises and their selection of coffees is fantastic. Owned and operated by a husband and wife team, you can see that this shop is their baby and they are totally putting all their TLC into it! There's a great selection of pastries as well, and my son is a huge fan of the French macaroons! Definitely worth checking out for a morning cup of joe and some coffee talk with a friend! read more

Today was my first and absolutely the last time I spend penny in this coffee shop! I don't know where to start...! The moment I swing the door , the coffee shop was empty, except two people sitting on empty tables.I asked for regular decaf coffee, and was told it will take 20 minutes?!?!?!. , thinking the barista is joking, I still order the coffee. The moment I pull my debit card to pay , I was told that I need cash, or buy something for more then $5 in order to pay with card/ in my case nuts bar/. After that the barista start purring water in some filter/ on scale.... 10 min/ Right there I ask her not to put more water, I am fine with the current amount... I I was told company requires more water to be purred... and in this moment, mannerless man/ manager/ lecture me about, I am not in Starbucks! I am a coffee drinker and have been for a long time. I always felt that Jupiter/Gardens area was deprived of a quality coffee roaster. Not only does Crux have a large awesome selection of coffee, they roast it all in house. Then after they roast it they grind each cup of coffee just for you preserving the freshness. Then they take it even further and slowly poor the perfect temp water over the freshly ground beans to create the most perfect cup of coffee you ever had. I would recommend trying Crux, just be a little patient as this is NOT a fast food operation #starbucks #dunkin. read more

I was very disappointment with my service this morning, the main barista was very rude, told me that they do not make ice coffee, but however mad one for her friend behind me, the two muffins that I purchased were soggy and wet.. I spent $18 for two drinks and two muffins, which I do not have a problem with yet the coffee was horrible and the muffins were not edible. Minimum credit card purchase is $5.00 with absolutely no leniency. Most of their overpriced coffee is around $4.50 so if you're buying only for yourself you're forced to use cash. Tips on the card do not count toward the minimum so I had to also buy a $1 bumper sticker to reach $5. The coffee is not that great and it takes forever to prepare. read more

The staff here is really nice, and let me take my time browsing the menu. The cinnamon roll I got was pretty good, and the mocha was well made. They are on the higher price end, but for good reason. Great atmosphere and design, and most of all it is very clean. You can see the beans being roasted, which is really cool. Decent amount of seating both inside and outside, only thing is I wish they had more outlets, but that's not really their fault. I may be a first time customer, but I'm definitely coming back. This place is rather insanely awesome. They have something like five different kinds of cold brew coffee, including "Nitro" which pours like Guinness and doesn't even need milk or sugar, it's so smooth. Plus a pour-over bar and espresso drinks and regular drip. It's beyond. I'm in love!! read more

THIS PLACE HAS THE VERY BEST COFFEE FOR MANY MILES. Way, WAY better than crap chains like Starbucks. Their iced lattes are in a class by themselves, absolutely delicious! They source and roast their own coffees and make each cup individually, so it may take a few minutes longer for some of their drinks, but the result is so flavorful, boy, is it worth it! Reading one of the reviews, I think I should correct: They don't have a $5 minimum on their coffee, they have a $5 minimum for credit card purchase, (which is only fair, given what credit card companies change), so with cash or debit, it's whatever you want. The staff and owners are friendly and accommodating, and seem to have so many devoted regulars. If you LOVE coffee, you must try this place! read more

I bought a lemonade for my young daughter and she insisted it tasted like metal. So I myself tasted it and it did taste like metal. I went in and asked to exchange it for an apple juice. The young lady at the counter said she'd have to get her manager. Manager came out was talking to me and she said yes that's common with that lemonade and kids usually don't like it and then she charged me for the Apple juice instead of exchanging it. Manager stated she couldn't exchange and charged me full price for the apple juice. Very poor customer service. read more

What a coffee shop! Several single origin coffees all roasted onsite. And the roaster himself brews it for you in single pour drip cones. My wife said it was the best coffee she'd had which kind of hurt my feelings because I'm a hobbiest roaster. You'll not be disappointed. They also have fresh bakery items. read more

Crux coffee staff including the owner Dan and his wife are wonderful people with a passion for hand brewing and roasting the best coffee in town. Not only are they extremely friendly and courteous, they have given back the feeling of going to a local spot where everyone knows your name going above and beyond just a cup of coffee. In just less than a year they have come a long way in becoming the go to spot to caffeinate, lounge, meet, and get work done. Starbucks will never be able to compete with a family owned business like this with a better product. The coffee is not the price of a 7-11 cup for just that reason.
