Clean and cute with upbeat music. The custom latte menu has multiple original selections.

What a cute spot! Love the looks of it outside & inside. Outside there is street parking which we were happy to see. Walking in was a cool vibe if you need to do work or meet up with a friend to catch up. I came with my family (3 littles) and couldn't find a table big enough for us so we just took it to go. The lattes were yum, I would rate it as just okay. I wish the espresso taste was a bit stronger than the milky taste. Need to come back and try this spot again & try a pastry!

Great coffee spot. They sell gift items to from artists. The have a small food menu and other snack items for purchase as well. There's quite a bit of seating. It's a very chill spot to go work on your laptop. The employees were nice. Its street parking.

I made a reservation here on a Friday night for 7:45 PM with my friend and we sat inside. There's such a lovely ambience when you enter the restaurant because the decor is beautiful. We started off with a couple of cocktails and we ordered the avocado beet salad, which was 10 out of 10. We split the truffle pasta and ordered the Wagyu cooked medium. The service was absolutely fantastic. Carmita was our server and she was so kind and accommodating. The food tasted so fresh and the truffle was something to be remembered. The tiramisu was chosen for dessert. It was strong and absolutely delicious! I would love to come back for brunch one day!

Had a couple glasses of red wine- since ordering a bottle was out of the question because they were SO expensive. We ordered the San Danielle pizza (prosciutto, mozzarella, and arugula), and the lobster pasta. The pizza was more of a flatbread, VERY thin and airy crust. Order as an APP, not an entree. The lobster pasta had "homemade shells"- they tasted no different from a box pasta- and the pasta itself was VERY fishy. I only ate half and had a stomachache after. Would NOT return here for dinner; overpriced for sub-par food.

They followed the two of around the store the entire time--but only us two not the middle aged or boomers in the store. Apparently being a young adult is suspicious? Nevermind that we were dressed well and classy. It felt like ageism, if not r@cism (since we are minority?) But all three employees (younger than us) were on us as if they expected the worse, and they lacked all tact in their supervision and stares.

In the morning you can enjoy artisanal coffee, both cold brew and Seattle-style pour over and freshly-baked pastries. For lunch they offer quick, light bites, which include salads, sandwiches and snacks. They even sell cigars and bottles of wine. On the other side is a carefully curated collection of gifts and unique decorative accessories from around the world. Everything is so artfully arranged by type and color scheme. They sell holiday decorations, books, collectibles, dishes, cups, glassware, topiaries, beautifully embroidered dish towels, an assortment of napkin rings, greeting card, note cards, decorative items, glass paper weights, candles, beauty items, and more. I really loved the Palm Beach coloring book. Of course this being The Breakers, items are pricey. A single greeting card was $6. I enjoyed exploring all of the shop items after which I indulged in a croissant and coffee from the food side. You can take your food and drinks out to the Palm Court where there is beautiful landscaping, fountains, and tables and seats. You don't have to be a guest of the resort to come here. The Breakers tries to limit non resort guests during season but if you allow them to scan your license and tell the guards you are coming to eat or shop they will let you in. Guest parking is on your immediate left just after you pass the guards.

With working overnight and getting back in the early morning, I would be craving "dinner" at 7am versus a breakfast spread. I found a lot of places selling breakfast at these early hours, but Johan's Joe was the only place I found that sold lunch items. On my first visit here, I got their Swedish meatballs platter and a lavender cardamom lemonade. I instantly fell in love. In fact, out of the 15 days of staying in West Palm Beach, I ate at Johan's Joe 11 times. Every single time I'd get a plate of Swedish meatballs. I also began to try out other items, like their waffles on the weekend, scrambled eggs, bacon, and soup. All fantastic. For beverages, I always got their lavender cardamom lemonade and later discovered the orange juice to be really good, too. How did I manage to eat Swedish meatballs 11 times in 2 weeks? I was curious, too. Upon reflecting, I realized how perfect the platter really is. It offers perfect balance. Let me explain: Texturally, there's a crispness from the pickled cucumbers, a slight pop from the whole lingonberries, a bounce from the meatballs, and creaminess from the mashed potatoes and gravy. The dish also has a mix of sweetness (lingonberries), tartness (pickled cucumbers), and salt (meatballs). There's even a mix of temperatures with the main platter being hot, while the lingonberries and cucumbers are cold. With only time to eat one meal a day, this turned out to have everything on one plate. Exactly what I craved and needed. The service here was very friendly, all the employees were polite and offered great service. It was also nice to see that there were also a handful of local regulars who I'd see every time. They definitely know how to create a welcoming and cozy spot. After leaving the area, I found myself actually missing this spot quite a bit. I will be back again for work soon, so I'll be able to get my meatball fix again. Thanks, Johan's Joe!
