I loved the feel of each batch after it was smooth. This store is small, but nicely setup to display and explain the different property attributes to the crystals they sell. They also have stones, incense, sage and books. A few stones have been made into jewelry. They have everything from large crystal display pieces for home decor to small stones you can carry in your pocket. There's something so appealing to the feel of smooth stones. As much as I'd like to support a local business, the prices and quality were significantly better at reputable online wholesale stores. Also the lockers are ridiculous. If you're going to do lockers, offer a keypad with 1-9 not 1-5. Have an option showing which are in use, like at the gym. I had to ask for help because my usual passcode for lockers isn't "1234" or whatever. Anyone saying they're not friendly--you're correct. The worker that helped me looked annoyed and told me "use the lockers with the key next time" like I'm an idiot.

When we arrived, another customer was checking out. We overheard her mention that the total was more than she expected and that she needed to call someone to send her more money. When it was our turn, we let the employee know it was our first visit and asked how the process worked. Instead of explaining it, she replied, "You just pick one," in a dismissive tone and then simply stared at us without offering any guidance about the chains, charms, pricing, or how the permanent jewelry process worked. A few moments later, a group of women who were not African American walked in. We watched the same employee warmly greet them, explain that they could try on the sample chains, and hand them the display so they could see the different options. This was the exact information we had asked for but were never given. That difference in treatment made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. As African American customers, we couldn't help but wonder if we were being judged. We can't know the employee's intent, but the contrast between how we were treated and how the next group was treated was hard to ignore. We ended up leaving without making a purchase and went to another jewelry store instead, where we received excellent customer service and happily got our matching bracelets and anklets. We were genuinely excited to support this business, so this experience was very disappointing. I hope this feedback encourages the staff to greet every customer with the same level of kindness, patience, and respect, especially first-time visitors who simply want to understand the process.

You select what kind of bracelets & charms you want, pay for it at their register and then wait for your name to be called (you can pursue the other businesses items while you wait). The ladies there are all very nice and friendly. My daughter came home from college and wanted to add to our matching bracelets. We got the gold ones while on vacation in Portland a couple years back and now she wanted to add these silver ones. The process is very simple. They take your choice of bracelet style, add a link to close both ends and then a quick zap to solder it closed. The price (i have nothing to compared it against except from what I paid for the other one 2 years ago) is probably a bit on the higher side. The sterling silver one was $60 so it's a bit expensive but I don't think it was too crazy high. We're very happy with our new bracelets.
