after 18 yrs I had to leave this company. they have no customer service nor do they care about their job. I never had anything bad for 18 yrs until I got a new pool guy that doesn't do anything. I called to complained about wanting a new pool person because 2 1/2 weeks go by I haven't had any chlorine tablets and my pool is dirty and very cloudy so please give me a new one or come see what is going on. they called me back and said chlorine was high was the excuse they gave me. Now I decided to take a cup of water to Leslie's and guess what. it wasn't high from their report so I asked my neighbor to come see why my vacuum is not working for 2 1/2 weeks. guess what, filter in the picture is full. Next , the other filter has been broke is why it won't catch and I get no new pool guy and next the pool hasn't been cleaned in 2 1/2 weeks again in the picture. poor service is what i get. Please start training better. I dont recommend because they have no clue on customer service. read more

i call to make an appoint to have our pool filter serviced I was told that she would let me know Monday about when they would be out that I was on the schedule for Monday well I didn't get a call and they never showed after waiting around all day so not to miss them. I understand things can take longer that when you get on the phone and tell your office to cancel and reschedule the appointments, I have no problem with that, i have a problem with a no show on call. this is after I was stood up twice by another pool company no show no call. read more

My mother in law bought a house with a pool so needed a pool service. Was referred to them by my real estate agent. Called and the next day they sent someone out to take a look and give an estimate. CCPS is totally affordable monthly (chemicals are additional) they come by to clean the pool Tuesday and Friday. This is the 2nd week and they doing an awesome job! Pool technician wasn't emptying our ground level skimmer. Our basket broke because of it and the company tried to play it off as other issues causing it. Still was charged for the last cleaning even though it was a poor job and I ended up with a broken skimmer basket. read more

We had them for over a year and was constantly a new pool guy coming to the house who never understood our pool and most didn't even realize it was a salt water pool. They spent minimal time cleaning the pool and I was always charged so much extra every month for chemicals that were supposedly being used. I recently just canceled the service and have had to add minimal chemicals, salt water pool is much lower maintenance. Complete rip off of a company, zero accountability. read more

Paid to inspect our pool and continue service as we moved into a home using Crystal Clear. When I called asking how come our pool wasn't being cleaned, I was rudely told I was now on the back of the list. Next call, the very belligerent office manager sounded off and would not connect me with the owner. Paid off in the end though, I haven't heard anything good about them. read more

We recently hired Crystal Clear Pool Service after have two previous unsatisfactory pool services for our home in Yuma. They have been out three times now and have the pool and spa in top shape. I contacted them to do a filter breakdown and cleaning since we didn't know the condition of the filter. John, the service tech reviewed the pool setting, corrected those programs that were incorrect and got the working great. After his review he said breaking down the filter was an unnecessary expense as there was no sign of problems with it. There was no charge for his service since he didn't actually break the filter down. I appreciate their honesty and willingness to go the extra mile. Great service!!! read more

If you're going to use them do NOT pay a deposit for services. It only guarantees you possible frustration, to be nice, and disappointment. Will settle for now because we need pool fixed but highly disappointed and wouldn't recommend to anyone, personally. read more

STAY AWAY!! We had this service for over a year. we had them install a saline system. This Oct the regular pool pump quit so we had our home warranty work on getting this straightened out. When that contractor showed up they started questioning why we had a white powder all over the bottom of the pool and why we were using so much chemical on a pool that had the "saline system". They looked at it and informed us that that saline pump company had gone out of business years ago because this pump never worked. Besides that the system power had never been hooked up properly. So now I have contacted Crystal Clear as to what they intend to do because I have paid for their obsolete system and have paid for chemicals that should not have been needed. No Answer!!! In my opinion I should be paid back the $2000 for the saline system that never worked PLUS all the chemical that had been sold to me over a year period. read more

Dean (the owner) will go above and beyond to help you. He strives for excellence and expects the best from his employees. Among all the pool businesses in town, he holds his to the highest standards. You won't know who you will get as an tech when you sign up, but they will leave a slip detailing what they did that day, each day they arrive. Of course in every company some employees can always be better than others, but Dean makes sure they are trained, and if they do everything he says, you should never be dissatisfied. If you ever are, simply be a decent person and if you can't address it with the tech, call the office and tell them your issue. If its legitimate, it'll get addressed. I live by a canal, and in the winter the tech visits are a little shorter because the pool isn't as bad, but in the summer and windy months our pool can look like mud, and the techs work long and hard hours in the sun, and still get the pool clean. If anything goes wrong with the equipment, they write it down, and you get a visit from an equipment tech pretty quickly. Dean does a lot of work himself, and can get very very busy, so if he can't get back to you personally about something, just keep in touch and he will soon enough. If you run across him, feel free to chat or ask a question! He is very friendly and you will see why he runs a great business. One of the best owners in town. read more

About 8 months ago we had this company start pool service and within the first month we had billing issues. They were charging for chemicals that I had on site. I called and they found that the pool boy was charging for chemicals that I was supplying. Hmmmm. Should have left at that time. We listed our house for sale with a Realtor in January emptied our house and left in April for the Summer seemed like everything was good until the pool boy figured out the house was empty and no one was around to use the pool. I guess he put so much chlorine in the pool so it would not turn green that was his lazy way of not having to CLEAN THE POOL. He was so lazy that 4 weeks ago there was a big wind storm in Yuma and as of Friday 26th of August he has not even walked anywhere near the pool or equipment because there was a 1/8 of a inch of dust on all of the equipment including the concrete with no hand prints or foot tracks. I turned on the pump it was so clogged in both strainers and the filter that the pump would not prime. I started to clean the filter it is approximately 3' tall x 1' diameter. I am 6' 2" tall 245 lbs it was so loaded with sand and leaves I could hardly get it out of the canister. There was at least 150 lbs of sand in the filter. I was in town a over a month ago and didn't have much time to do anything with the equipment so I placed a orange piece of plastic in the skimmer basket that had a hand full of leafs in it. The piece of plastic along with a basket full of leafs was still in there one month later. Heres the best part I do not have even one plant or tree or shrub on my property. The closest tree is 30' away and only 12 feet tall with a 6' block wall between the pool and tree. The little salesman sounding boy I spoke to said they know that the service was not being completed. And yet only said they would not charge for the month and he would make sure that the work would now get done correctly. Really? If I would have came back to town a day later this dumbass would have called me to let me know I need a pool pump because it would have run dry trying to prime it self. I ADVISE ANYONE LOOKING FOR A POOL SERVICE TO KEEP LOOKING. These people working for this company are stupid. read more

I have use crystal clear pool services for my rental for the last 6 years. Their services over the last year have been horrible. They need to reevaluate who they are sending to provide service. I am now with Green Valley Pools and both customer service and pool service has been outstanding. Additionally, they accused my tenants and property manger to be the problem. Stay away!!! read more
