We hired DJ Dan for our wedding last June. He was fantastic and communicative from start to finish. Wedding planning can be pretty overwhelming and having Dan help us organize the flow of the day was so great. After having a great call with him to go over our vision and how he works with us to make it happen, he gave us a worksheet to fill out. The worksheet was very important in the planning process and helped us choose songs and music for all the particular moments of the day (many things we hadn't even thought about before looking over this worksheet). Dan came for a site visit so he knew what type of equipment he'd need and to understand the flow of the day. He set up and handled all of the speakers, microphones and equipment. We met DJ Dan at a wedding expo and are so grateful for that! We had no plans of hiring a DJ until we ran into him. He also came with an actual old-school photobooth, not one of those Ipad on a sticks with a big ring light situation. I am so glad I hired Dena for our wedding! She was very easy to work with, professional and the photos turned out amazing. I love that her pricing structure is very straight forward and reasonable -- no gouging you or nickle & diming you just because it's a wedding. I was especially impressed by her candid shots. We hired Dan and Dena for our photography and DJ services for our wedding. They went above and beyond expectations. From the start the couple was so inviting and flexible with what we wanted. Hiring Dena to capture parts of my sister's bachelorette weekend was like having an awesome friend who happens to be an incredibly talented photographer. I initially met with Dan through skype when I was interviewing DJs. I knew immediately that he was the right fit for us. He did an amazing job before the wedding and after the wedding. My husband and I hired Dena as our wedding photographer and we could not have been happier with our choice! From the get go Dena was very communicative, very professional, had a super detailed questionnaire that helped her establish who we are as a couple so she knew the best photos to capture, and she was great with responding to questions quickly. One thing that I found truly incredible about her was that, on the day of the wedding, as I was getting ready, when she arrived she instantly became one of my friends, she was very attentive and sensitive to my needs and giving space when it was needed and finding some amazingly beautiful shots that captured almost every single moment of the morning. I felt so comfortable with her around, she just instantly clicked with everyone. Also, with formal photos after the ceremony she was soooo on top of things, everything went super fast and all the photos she got were great! There is usually at least one person not looking or having their eyes closed in those group photos, not with Dena, all the photos are beautiful! My husband and I were so impressed with what she was able to capture, not only at the ceremony but all of the candid photos at the reception, we got so many great photos of our guests and special moments during the reception that will be photo memories for us to treasure forever. I hired both DJ Dan and Dena Lindsey (for photography,) for my wedding on 11/24/12. I have to say that they were the most professional venders we worked with. DJ Dan played our list, and mixed in music that made sense, too. One of the compliments I have repeatedly gotten was how fun the music was. He also seamlessly moved our guests from dinner, dancing, toasts, etc. I really didn't have to worry about anything during the event (as it should be.) Dena showed up with her assistant at the site I was getting ready at before I did... making friends with my family and identifying good shot locations. She remembered to follow directions I had told her weeks prior (like take extra shots of this person... and none of that person.) She also was completely unobtrusive during the ceremony and the reception. But, the photos were fabulous.
