Cecilia calmed my nerves even though I think I said I dont know what to do with my hands way too many times they remained professional, not annoyed and helped me with where to put my hands. I never felt uncomfortable for long and they made it easy. I found out after the shoot that they also shoot dogs. When my boy started getting sick I booked a shoot with them. Will update when I get those back as well. I had 3 seperate bookings with them already, and refer them to everyone I know. After having a great call with him to go over our vision and how he works with us to make it happen, he gave us a worksheet to fill out. The worksheet was very important in the planning process and helped us choose songs and music for all the particular moments of the day (many things we hadn't even thought about before looking over this worksheet). Dan came for a site visit so he knew what type of equipment he'd need and to understand the flow of the day. He set up and handled all of the speakers, microphones and equipment. We interviewed a half dozen wedding photographers, and after a whirlwind experience I can confidently say that J & D are the most communicative and easy to work with. They have a can-do attitude and bring a low key sense of humor and enthusiasm to their projects. Everybody got along easily with them. Their equipment they use gave them a lot of options for getting great shots, they knew when to take advantage of good lighting, and they were SO kind about the few time they asked us to pose in the moment--a quick, "hey look over here!". However, Christina sees through your nerves and gives you all the pointers you need to make your photos look effortlessly gorgeous. She is so hilarious and a blast to work with. She knows how to loosen you up and make you feel comfortable, sexy, and glamorous. We were a COVID couple and throughout the entire planning process, Christina was helpful, patient and understanding. When it came to our wedding day, we were fighting COVID, smoke in the air and loss of time for shooting due to the bride being late - shocker! Thankfully Christina did not skip a beat, and went into hyper speed. She is assertive, and makes quick but smart decisions, which is exactly what you need when you're losing light and trying to wrangle 15+ tipsy people.
