I was with a friend and my baby to pick up a finished project and start a new one. We were told to join the waitlist, then informed the open tables were being held 15 minutes each for people ahead of us, resulting in an estimated 45-60 minute wait despite several vacant tables. When I questioned this nonsense , the employee repeatedly cited "store policy" and became argumentative, even asking why I was "coming at her." When our table was ready about 20 minutes later, I approached her to clear the air and apologized for any misunderstanding. Instead, she berated me, insisted I had been rude, and claimed "everyone agreed with her." My apology was not an invitation to argue more but she was unable to understand that. The manager then told me not to discuss the incident at my own table, and threatened to make us leave if I continued talking. When we decided to leave instead, the manager smugly said corporate "won't do anything" and twice told me to use her name in my complaint, complete with an eye roll.
