I was so excited to true a local salon that was recommended by so many. However, it was not a very good experience. I went in to get dip and it started off great. But when I left I was beyond disappointed. There was so much left on my finger tips and the sides of my nails. The technician shaped them differently and they are different lengths. I should have known and left before it started after another customer came in saying that she had dip left on her fingers and was told to "wash her hands and it would come off"... it didn't. I think this was probably the worst mani pedi experience I have ever had. I just moved to Middleboro so looking for a new nail salon. She did my nails standing up while I sat in the pedicure chair. The pedicure lasted about 15 minutes and had about 30 seconds of massage. Very lackluster and not worth the money at all. I've been going to Crystal Day Spa since I've moved to the area back in 2018 and have never gone elsewhere! It's not the most glamorous salon but it's clean, efficient, and has excellent staff. I highly suggest making appointments in advance as they're very busy. To date, I haven't had to wait long and am seen close to my scheduled appointment time. We had an amazing experience here. We walked in right at 10am (from out of town) and were able to get in 3 pedicures and a full set because they start appointments at 11. I went to this salon on a whim as my usual salon was booked up. I called ahead and made an appointment. I walked in and noticed the place was busy, but they had 4 people working. I waited about 10 minutes. I sat down to get my acrylic fill. She buzzed them all, filed them and filled them, the. polished them (sloppily) in about 15 minutes. She was CLEARLY in a rush. The paint job was so bad that I immediately went to another salon down the street to get the polish changed. I was so bummed as the shape of my nails were great, it's just she rushed so badly it almost made me feel guilty for being there. I unfortunately will not be going back. read more

Super friendly service however past two times i've gone here my gel manicure chips within the first week and it's not like im out here doing hard work or cleaning stuff with bleach they just end up chipping. For the extra cost id expect them to last at least 2 weeks or i would just save my money and get a regular polish. Service also often feels rushed which is a bit understandable when its busy however it shouldn't be rushed to the point where i have bubbles or not a full coverage of polish on my nails. If you want a nice long lasting manicure for an event or such, drive the extra bit and find somewhere else. If you just need a quick touch up this place is good enough. read more

If you're looking for super express service this spa can deliver...in and out of the pedicure chair in 20 minutes (I'm not joking, in the chair at 11:09 out at 11:30) and they even did the gel mani too. BUT your pedi & mani won't look great - 24 hours later my pedi is chipping and the manicure looks like an amateur did it. I wanted to enjoy my services, I wasn't looking for a quick fix...if I knew that they were trying to fit me in between appointments I would have left. I was baffled by what just happened when they were done and said it was $60 AND it seemed as though they were totally cool about completing the service so quickly. I'm not asking for a lengthy message on my legs, but 30 seconds isn't going to cut it when you're paying $30+ for a pedicure. I won't be back and if you're looking to relax during a pedicure/manicure, look elsewhere! read more
