Zaza's nails is still my favorite place to go. It's always clean with a huge color selection. The best part about this place is you never have to wait or even make an appointment which makes it convenient for people who are busy and on the go. All of the girls in there are exceptional however, Tina is definitely my favorite today, her son Michael did my nails and did an exceptional job, but don't worry Tina didn't let me leave without making sure I was happy with my nails. Their prices are also the best prices around the Taunton area. If you've never been to this nail salon, I highly suggest you stop in and try it out! read more

I got a regular mani/ pedi. I was a walk-in. Cleanliness & skill could improve. The station where I was sent had a dirty looking, wet towel in front of me. I didnt have to touch this but my question is, are you even trying to be presentable here at Zaza? I also question if the tools were sanitary. They were placed in a metal bowl that had fine covering of dust in it. The manicurist was very friendly but didnt seem to have a lot of experience. I mentioned 3 times that the polish was too thick but he did nothing to fix it. The final product is awful. The pedicure was fine but the coverage on some of my toe nails is not even and there's polish on the skin around my toes. I would not go back. It cost $55 all together. Less expensive but you get what you pay for. I did not leave a tip, for the first time ever. read more

I loved going here for my every two week nail treat! I work as a hairstylist, so a little pampering is always fabulous. The only reason I haven't visited in a while Is literally me being a little more financially budget savvy (kinda), so I had to make sacrifices and cuts on my self care. I had a great first time experience at Zaza Nails. Hannah and the other technicians were very polite and the gentleman who answered the phone had great etiquette when answering my questions. I gave 4 stars because I think that the pedicure could have came out a bit better, but I enjoyed the cleanliness and quiet atmosphere of this salon. My nails also came out pretty good. I originally came in for just a pedicure, but I ended up with a gel Mani as well. I did not feel pressured to spend extra money by getting a deluxe this or that or adding designs. I was asked if I wanted to make the pedicure a gel or also get my nails done. I gave in because I wanted my nails done the whole time and was scrolling nails on Pinterest anyway. I am glad that I came here, and I hope this gel manicure lasts until after my vacation over. I may choose to call Zaza's home if it does. read more

Went in to get a fill here bc my normal place was packed since it's the day before New Year's Eve. The woman I had rushed throughout my whole fill, didn't asked me any questions on how I liked my nails shaped or anything. She then started painting my nails with the color I picked and it was clearly old and chunky. Right then I knew the polish probably wouldn't dry. I sat there drying for over 20 minutes looking at my rushed, chunky nails. So I decided I would just take off the polish when I get home and repaint them myself, bc the fill is really what I needed. Upon taking off the polish I noticed the acrylic was overlapped on top of my cuticle. I spent a good hour trying to peel the acrylic fill off my skin without completely ruining my nails. I learned my lesson to not be impatient and wait to go to a place that really cares about their customers. read more

I had a pedicure with a gel manicure. I kept telling the nail tech that my fingernails were turning out a different color from my toes. He insisted it was lighting so I was patient. At the end I showed him how different the colors were and he said he put an extra coat on my fingers for shine. Pedicure & gel manicures are not new to me. The color is supposed to be the same because it comes from the same box. I could even see on the brush that it was a different color inside the bottle. This was Queen of Grape, number 479. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait for 2 pedis... was seated in about 5 and told someone would be with us soon. Someone came over and started on my friend's pedi... then once hers was done that same nail tech came to do mine. At this point 50+ minutes had passed so I had to leave, without getting my pedicure. I was told they were understaffed which probably means they should have taken that into account when giving my wait time. Seems like a sketchy way to keep a customer from going elsewhere. This salon is a completely made over. I actually can talk to people in there. All of them are friendly and social able. They have way more colors to choose from and their dipping powder colors are awesome. Almost 200 colors. The pedicure is so sanitized now. They use liner for the tub for every customer. It's like every time is a brand new tub. Also I love the organic pedicure package. It's in individual packages with all different aromas. My fav is the cucumber one. 45 Minutes of absolutely stress relief on my legs and feet. You must try it and I'm sure you'll love it. It's more personalized than a typical nails salon. read more

I have been going to this salon for several years, I always enjoyed it and Lynn did a good job. I went today to have a mani/pedi because I have a wedding this week end to attend. I arrived 20 mins early so I could take my time picking the color I wanted. I was rushed by one of the other girls to sit so she could wrap my nails to remove the old polish and pick my color later. Already what was suppose to be a nice relaxing day turned stressful. As she was using the nail buffer to remove my old polish she nicked my cuticles several times causing them to bleed. So now time to pick my polish. Found the shade I wanted and told they could not use it because toes wont match. I picked another color, this went on several times. Finally the nail tech picked a color which was not what I wanted , even after I told her she painted my nails and I left with a color totally different from what I wanted. Because of this I will probably not return. I dont understand what is so difficult about using the color you want. A shame because like I said I have been coming here many years. This new girl is totally annoying and needs to learn the difference between pink and purple . Also you shouldnt leave a salon with bleeding cuticles and feeling stressed. read more

I absolutely love this salon. I have been a patron of this location for the last 2 years and recently, the salon came under new management. I was skeptical at first when the new management took over. However, my recent experiences have been nothing but positive. The owners are welcoming and friendly and approach their customers openly and honestly. I use to have acrylic nails and recently switched over to gel dip. My natural nails were a mess and are very brittle to bring with. I was very unsure of the gel dip process however, this salon saved my natural nails and they look wonderful. Definitely sticking to this place for good! read more

I went there to get my nails and toes done for my graduation. The pedicure was nice, the hot rocks, hot towels, nice scented exfoliate, but it wasn't "deluxe" or worth $45.. I had a natural nail that was broken off because of an accident i was in where my fake nail took my real one off too, so i asked if it was still possible to put acrylic on it due to the circumstances and i understood if not, they said yes. My natural nails are short so i didn't want them too long but i also didn't want them this short and she had already cut them by the time i could say anything. I said i wanted acrylic because i didn't want them thin and i don't like the powder and i noticed she was taking powder stuff out. So i said again I wanted acrylic and then i had to stop her because she still dipped my fingers in powder. Then my acrylic job was not worth $40. I was already there for so long and had to eventually leave to get ready for graduation so i didn't even have the time to sit there after these were done and explain my frustration. My total came out to $85! If i didn't have a $60 gift card I would NOT have paid for these. The fingers that were dipped in powder were never cleaned off until I went to wash my hands after she put the acrylic on. I knowww my natural nails are short and i even said if they can't do it, that was okay! But I've never ever bled at a manicure. I was hurt/bled twice, i am usually too anxious to speak up but i had to say something this whole manicure. I trieddd to emphasize that it was an important event for me. The acrylic was glopped onto my nail, they were crooked, uneven, i still have acrylic on my hands (I had to shake a thousand hands at graduation and my hands felt gross) and had two fingers with cuts on them. This made me so stressed out about my graduation, i cried. The woman was nice but I wouldn't recommend for the prices. This was a really poor experience. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I went to Zaza's salon yesterday on 04/25 to recieve my first Brazilian and let me start off by telling you... excruciating torture. First glance walking into the room, there are dust bunnies in the corners of the floor. Theres hair trimmings on almost every surface in that small room. And probably worst of all, I watched this woman use 1 wax stick for the entire process (even though she only got halfway done.) When it was time for the actual wax, the first couple of pulls went okay, but when she moved to a new area to wax, this is where things went HORRIBLE. look She applied so much wax on the most sensitive part of what was getting waxed, barely pressed the strip on and pulled... only to have no hair come off. This woman continues to try and rip the same patch up with the same strip and wax probably about 10 times. She removes the now-dried wax with baby oil and a cotton ball from my hair and told me to come back at 7 pm because "i couldnt handle this." I asked how much more she had left to do, and she said 10 minutes left of work left, so i asked to take 15 minutes to calm down and then we could finish. 20 minutes later... she comes back and begins to resume waxing. Then the same exact thing happened. She reapplied wax to the same spot where the hair wouldnt come off earlier and she was really ripping in any different direction. The last ever pull, nothing came off and i was seeing a lot of blood and irritation so i told her i was done. She told me that this was supposed to hurt and i should've expected this pain, AND I WAS. However, i was not expecting to have my skin be ripped off in a super sensitive area. This is by far the worst wax job i've ever had and i'm extremely irritated and bumpy. Im pissed off! read more

This was the worst acrylic experience i've ever had. Do NOT waste your money here. I was seated as soon as i got in for a new set and she started doing a nice job on me until a women who had an appointment walked in. She rushed to finish my nails and not only were they way shorter than i asked, she didn't wash them and did a sloppy job with the manicure. I still have hang nails and nail polish on my skin all so she could finish for her appointment in time. Absolutely ridiculous and zero time management or regard for my money spent. Never coming to this shithole again. I would love for a refund but they definitely wouldn't even care to give me one. read more

Just not a great experience overall, only giving them two stars because of their etiquette on the phone and the seemingly clean environment. The tech was on a personal call when she first greeted me, and rushed through my gel mani (even though there was no one behind me or waiting) and I think she realized how messy it came out because she kept filing away at the dried lacquer. Went here for the first time day! Went for a fill and a pedicure. I told her my nails need some work the last place really did a bad job. She said not to worry she would fix it and she did just that! They came out great. She even gave me a free design on her because of my bad experience at another place! I knew as soon as I sat down with her I already felt better than at the other place. Went here for about 2 months with no issues but I feel like they knew I was a "regular" and kind of ignored me and didn't seem to care if I was happy with my nails or not. The first time I went to get a fill and the lady was so rude and cut my nails so short it didn't even look like I had tips on my nails. The next time I went I decided to make an appt with the tech I know I like, I made my appt with her for 10am the next morning. I got there around 9:50 and gave my name and said I had an appt with this particular artist. As some else began to do my nail...i thought to myself maybe the one I had an appt with wasn't there for some reason, 5 minutes later a walk in comes in and the girl I had an appt with comes from the back room and takes her. Wouldn't even give it one star if I didn't have to. I went there with my aunt and cousins and we received the worst service I have ever gotten. We were trying to pick our colours and the people kept rushing us even though they were working on others!! And they had no colours to choose from either. I was looking for a black, which they didn't have, and asked the lady if any were left on the counters and she told me whatever was on the rack was what's to choose from. So then it took the four of us even longer to choose and they kept rushing us, still working on the other customers. Once I finally had chosen my colour I was immediately rushed in a chair, and I was supposed to be getting just a normal fill with square tips. It usually takes the other nail salon I go to an hour or so but it took him ten!! They came out looking awful so I had the other lady re do them. Then they had made my cousin go to him too and she was supposed to have ballerina tips but he filed one side too much on her thumb and only put acrylic on three of her broken nails when they all needed them! So my aunt was trying to explain to the man but he was ignoring her completely. Then she called another lady who seemed nice at first to help my cousin. Now it's two hours past closing time and they are STILL working on my aunt and two younger cousins nails. As the lady was trying to do my cousins nails she had noticed it wasn't the shape she wanted so this is what she said to her "we don't do that shape here" so my cousin said "two other guys who had worked here had done the shape just as she wanted", the lady then said "then you should try somewhere else, we don't do that shape". So my other younger cousin, about ten, was getting a mani pedi and hadn't said a word since we had gotten there. Apparently she smudged her nail by accident and the lady yelled at her and told her if she didn't again she wasn't fixing it. Once my aunts nails were done she went to dry them and all the workers there were hovering over us ready to leave because they only took ONE CAR. The manager or whoever kept complaining that she had a baby to feed. That lady immediately came to my aunt and said her nails were dry and to let her touch them. Of course my aunt said no and continued to dry them. The man there said he could understand everything she was saying in a rude way and all she said was, "I wasn't saying bad things, I was trying to explain that these nails were a catastrophe to you and you ignored me". They all went on talking amongst themselves and after 10 minutes they tried making us leave but nobody's nails were dried, I had been sitting there for over thirty minutes and they weren't done. So finally after we were all fed up with their complaining about wanting to go home and rude comments we left, not caring if they had gotten smudged. Worst nail salon I've ever been to. They claim they've been open for 10 years but have no idea how to talk to costumers or run a business!! read more

I would not even give this place a star if i didnt have to. I went in there on a Friday right around noon time with my sister. When we got there we asked if they had more than one person working so we could get our nails done together and the woman had told us yes. After about 10 minutes we asked her again because no one else was coming out to help. She again said yes. She ended up doing my sisters nails and no one else ever came out to help. While doing my sisters nails she did a fill in about 10 minutes. She was not taking her time at all. My sister washed her hands and was about to get her nails painted and noticed one nail needed to be filed so the woman then told my sister all her nails on one hand were longer than the other hand. The woman then fixed them, however, we were annoyed that she did not bother to fix them at first and was going to let her leave with uneven nails. She then painted them really fast and got paint all over her hands and also when my sister noticed a hair in one of her nails the woman just painted over it. My sister was very upset and was talking to her and the woman just ignored her and moved her bag to the drying table. The woman than began to ask me if i even wanted to continue to get my nails done and unfortunately i said yes because she already took off my polish. She then started to do my nails and was rushing the whole time. A few minutes later a group of 4 came in to get their nails done and then she called a man and he showed up about 10 minutes later to help her take some customers. She woman got paint all over my fingers and all my nails look terrible, some are round and some are square. They look terrible. There was a girl sitting next to me and asked the man to fix her nail and he said "why? whats wrong with it?" It was sideways!!! This place is a horrible place and very dirty as she just brushes everything onto the floor and it looks like it never gets cleaned. The people there are very rude and dont care about the customers.
