Writing this review as I sit in the nail salon for THE SECOND TIME TODAY. (Let it be known I've been here more than five times and Im always super nice and tip good). I came earlier for a pedicure and although my guy was really good with the massage, he didn't really clean my feet up that well, And before I left they put a plastic "nail protector" over my toes that smudged ALL OF THEM. When I came back the lady tried to fight me saying it was my polish that I brought and when I explained no it's not I've used this company for over two years I'm a massage therapist and only use this company because it lasts so god damn long, she still told me it's not their fault but I was not leaving without pretty toes! For god sakes it's Valentine's Day!!!!!! .. Little does she know I went to nail school too . Smh. I will never come back. read more

This is one of the best nail salons I've ever been to. since I've started going there my mother and most of her friends have started going there as well. Everyone gets to know you and it's a comfortable environment. It's very clean and organized. The staff are friendly and the owner is very nice. Love this salon always take a walk in and with the competition of Spa O Nails they seem to be trying to improve services. Some work to do still but I'm generally happy with my pedicure from here and it's also nice a quiet as it's a big space so feels relaxing. This nail salon was a pleasant surprise. I walked in not expecting to see such wonderful decor. This salon is immaculate and welcoming and I love the fact that they speak very good English, I can actually understand what they are saying, that is a bonus in my book...just saying. So today I came in to remove acrylics that I got a few days prior because they were terribly done by a different salon and I told Kim(owner) the deal and she suggested a gel manicure and just for fun I got a pedicure (no pressure from her), why not right?! Let me tell the young man that was doing my pedicure was great and entertaining and he did an awesome job on my pedicure. n Kim is the real deal. She soaked of my acrylics and hooked me up with a gel manicure and my nails look awesome!!! It's going on a week and no peeling. I have kids, I clean, cook, wash dishes, wrestle etc... My hands are always in water and they are not peeling...say what!!!! I truly do recommend this salon and I Hope they keep it up. They have a customer for sure. I just moved into the area and thought I would give this place a try. I am very happy that I did! Very pleasant environment from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out the door! The woman that asked me to sign in when I first arrived was very good with addressing customers by their name! She remembered mine as I was leaving and said have a good day! That made an impression on me! Vic did my nails and engaged in conversation to get to know me! He asked how I liked things as we were going through the manicure! I am so used to nail salons that rush you so My instinct was to quickly move my hands! Vin was not rushing the process at all! He was kind and did a great job on my nails! Dip manicure was alright, tech was definitely in a rush. My biggest disappointment was that on their website it says dip manicure $40. I heard another tech charge $40, I got charged $45. I feel like it was because I told her what field I work in. As far as she knows I could be the toilet cleaner. Not cool!! read more

I love this place / they always do a great job and won't pressure you into something that's not good for you like other places just to make a buck. The owner knows you by name after a few visits and remembers details and is super friendly! I also love that they don't play the tv they have spa music with makes it much easier to relax with great ambiance. read more

Although I have enjoyed patronizing this salon for over a year now I seriously regret it. After developing a finger nail fungus on two fingers I am 100% convinced it is a result of their poor hygienic practices. I partly blame myself for becoming complacent after noticing they simply open a towel with instruments laid in there. What I assumed was an enclave I recently noticed is used for warming towels and hot stones. I have never witnessed any sterilization practices followed in the salon. I waited for results from the doctor to confirm it is in fact a fungus found as a result of spas that do not follow sterile practices. This is the only salon I have been to in well over a year. I thought a simple call to the Board of Health would take care of the problem but they are licensed through the state and that involves filling out forms and submitting them which I am doing. I am annoyed enough to join yelp which I have been meaning to do. Unfortunately for me it took a condition that required medication to motivate me. I would like to avoid having this happen to other customers. For anyone like the customer sitting next to me when I first noticed this condition under the powder dip who told me don't worry it's no big deal. They can treat it easily. After a doctors visit a $50 co-pay and topical medication I now have to go on oral medication with many side effects. I do feel bad. The nail technicians have always been nice. It is not worth it! There are far too many nail spa options to chose from and from what I hear most places open a sterile clean package in front of you. That would be my suggestion going forward. read more

I'm actually making this review as Kevin is doing my pedicure. I'm very impressed with the service - most salons kind of half heartedly go through the motions, but in this first experience and from seeing the woman next to me, they actually work on your feet carefully - spending extra time on a dry spot, working on an ingrown nail, going back on filing a couple times to make sure the work is good. It's right next to my gym too so it's very nice to come in after a workout, get the warm water on my feet, the foot rubs, etc. And only $30 for spa pedicure. Everything is spotless, new. Massage chairs for the pedicures. Will absolutely come back, might try gel nails and possibly waxing. read more

I have such a hard time deciding on my nail color, but the technicians there helped me pick out the nail color and i LOVED IT! Walked in for a pedicure and gel manicure today. First time at this lovely salon. I was treated by Kim as I walked in the door, she was friendly and tole me it would be about 15 minutes wait. It was less than that as she got me set up at the pedicure station while she finished up with another client. I was able to observe the salon and the other technicians, all of which was quite impressive. The salon is spotless and decorated beautifully. Kim did a fantastic job with my pedicure and gel manicure. The price of $55 for both was reasonable. I will definitely be calling this my new nail salon! read more

Just left, they charged me $18 to paint my 5 year old's toes. The woman who did the painting kept telling the owner it was just a polish change- but since they 'turned on the water' she insisted it was a full pedicure!! absolutely ridiculous. Will not be back! read more

Most of the technicians do a good job with my gel mani and pedi but the service here is terrible every time I go on no matter what day and time it is they make me wait and are very rude about it the only reason I go there at all is cuz it's right near my house but after this last time when I called ahead and still was told I had to wait I will never go back again. Extremely disappointed with this nail salon and my appointment yesterday. I made the appointment for 2:30 for a simple gel manicure. The woman, who never told me her name was cold and unfriendly. She put the remover on my fingers and left a hot towel on my hands and walked away. After 12 minutes another woman tells me shell be right back and she was doing a wax. Why didn't she tell shed be right back? The towel was cold and I was freezing. My nails are natural and have been growing them out and were an oval shape. Without asking me she filed them down to a squared shape. After she did two nails, I had to accept my fate because I didn't want to lose anymore length. She did a sloppy job with the gel and spent the afternoon picking gel off my skin. I was so frustrated I paid and left. now I have to pay another salon to fix it. The owner, I believe was with another customer and was lovely and greeted me and wished me well on my exit. If I knew the woman's name who did my nails, I would not recommend. I was given a gift certificate and felt I wasted my money. read more

I've gotten my nails done for graduation, a wedding, etc. and I've been impressed every time. It can get very busy, as do most nail salons, so I recommend calling for an appointment. It's been a few hours and my manicure is already chipped. The polish is all over my cuticles which is no better than when I do it myself.

Went for a fill w a gel polish. Place was fine and people were pleasant but the guy who did my nails was the worst ever. First, he cut them way too short. I asked for shorter because my nails had been very long. He started w the electric file and without even consulting me on the length, he had filed one down so far that there was no choice but to file the rest. This guy clearly has no experience w acrylic. He put it on way too thick in some areas and not enough in others. Huge bumps all over the nails. Even though he filed them, it looks like Chiclets on my nails. I was also very careful to show him the shape of my nails going in and asked for the same shape as he filed them. I like my nails with rounded corners and straighter across the top. He did them squared across w sharp pointy corners. I had to explain three times and have them reshaped to get them passable. And he kept hurting me as he filed - either holding the drill too long so that it got hot and started to burn or nicking the skin. Every move he made he looked up to ask if it was hurting me, like he was expecting it and like it happens all the time. He cut and broke the skin in 2 places on my pinky and had to stop and to put on an antiseptic. Worst ever. Thank goodness I picked a neutral color so that people won't notice how bad it looks. Maybe the others are better but don't go to the young guy. read more

I used to love this salon and Amy and Kim always did a great job - priced well and always doing promotions, clean and friendly staff. However since amy left for maternity leave I get stuck with another women who never follows instructions on what I ask her to do, always files my nails crooked, when she paints them they chip (a problem I never used to have with gel) and shes really offensive. The other day when I walked in she told me they were busy so hurry up (keep in mind there was not a single person in there) and 3 avail technicians and im a paying customer.She roled her eyes when I asked her to reshape a crooked nail and she argued with me about the length of my nails when I asked to keep the new set long--- lady their my nails!!!! Lastly shes constantly going on and on about how dry my hands are- like complaining. Yes my hands are dry lady- I get it. If you dnt like your job quit!! $80 and my nails are short (not what I asked for but told me she couldnt do long and that I "wouldnt like it") right lady bc u know me so well!!! They are crooked and a waste of money because Im going to have to get them fixed at another salon. After 1 yr of going there its a shame ill have to find a new salon because I dnt want to get stuck with that one individual who treats spa service like its fast food. read more
