I dont know anyone like that. I did hospice, however, I did private nursing specifically for women with dementia. None of them previously smoked. All women. And none had gerd. No one she described was remotely close to anyone I knew or worked for that passed. The people I wanted to come through were all young (my husband & my son, and my best friend). She didn't pick up on any of them! And I know for a fact my husband and son would have come through. I asked about kids and she immediately asked me how old I am. (Which I saw another review on here that she asked for their age too.) And then immediately after hearing my age said 1 or none. She was very frank and rude about it. I'm 29, I'm not that old. I have since remarried since becoming a widow and currently in the process of having another child. I will admit however, she was able to see numbers that have followed me for decades. She said 8s, 1s,and 3s. 318 has followed me my entire life since i was a child, so I will admit, that was crazy. Everything else was pretty BS. Extremely disappointed. Today was the 7 year anniversary of my family passing away. And all I wanted was to hear from them. And instead I got conned. I do agree with others in these reviews that she should not list herself as a medium or even a psychic. She's definitely more of a life coach and just tells you what she thinks you want to hear.

This family owned and operated rock shop is the best for miles! My family and I come in from North Aurora and, as someone who uses and wears crystals daily, this is by far the best shop. A very knowledgeable and welcoming group of women, they are quick to help, with such an inviting environment for everyone. Also, the variety of selenite charging plates is awesome and the price is right. In addition to a good selection, everyone who works in the shop is very friendly and helpful. I picked their brains while browsing the crystals and they were more than happy to share their knowledge and personal experience. You can tell their employees have practical knowledge and aren't just reciting information from cards. There are also "mystery bags" available near the front counter, which another customer recommended. They are available in $20, $50, and $100 price points and hold more value than their respective prices. I plan to check one out when I get the chance. I purchased an array of products, and they seemed fairly priced and of good quality. Overall, this shop is worth a stop if you're looking for crystals, incense, smudge sticks, or anything spiritual or metaphysical.

I was on my way to Alchemy Arts and was crossing the busy intersection at Broadway when I saw a…read moreblack cat very close to the road, so I pulled over to try and move her to a safer spot. I noticed the cat did not have a collar on and decided to quickly take her to the nearest vet to get scanned for a chip. Luckily, the cat did have a chip and the owner was notified. The vet told me the owner did not seem concerned and said the cat was an outdoor cat, but that they would come pick her up from the office. I was told I had to stay with the cat until the owner arrived. I waited at the vet's office for over an hour with the cat, and the owner arrived just minutes before the office closed. I explained to the owner that the cat was in the intersection and at risk of being hit, so I thought it was the right thing to do to get her scanned for a chip and try to contact the owner. The owner immediately became defensive and said, "Well she's an outdoor cat. She goes by the trees." I again explained that she was not by the trees, but instead right next to the intersection and at risk of being hurt or killed. The owner rolled her eyes at me and left with her cat. I later realized that the owner of this cat is one of the owners of Alchemy Arts, her name is Dayna. It's incredibly irresponsible to let your cat roam freely outside next to such a busy intersection. After further digging, it also appears that Marie the cat was attacked by a dog while roaming outside in 2025 and has gone missing for days before -- further evidence that this cat should not be outdoors for her own safety.

So you can buy floss of various types (metallic, cotton, etc.); lots and lots of kits of varying levels of difficulty; embroidery canvas (small remnants section); tapestry needles and associated items (beads; small buttons; embroidery scissors; cute measuring tape holders; nongreasy hand lotion; frames; magnifying glasses). I'm not a cross stitcher but if I were, I'd be pretty excited. Parking and entrance in the back; if you use the lot, you're going to need to turn onto Park, which is pretty busy. If you're heading for Roosevelt that's fine; if you're not, just park on Maiden Lane (coming from Roosevelt, the next street on the left after Tomorrow's Heirloom's driveway) and walk over half a block.

I would have no qualms about shopping this store for gifts if I knew the recipient were a fan of southwestern art, or to buy something for the kids' schools. It reflects my values in other ways, i.e., it's a local business, the product seems well-made, plus they do a little more to educate the community on the culture. They present musicians, storytellers, etc., which I'd like to check out with my older daughter. The wares are made by native american artisans who learned their skill at home in the southwest. I picked up a pamphlet on the Red Feather Development Group which described their American Indian Sustainable Housing Initiative. It addresses the housing crisis on indian reservations by mobilizing tribal members to build homes using environmentally sustainable materials and techniques, in this case straw baling. I don't know if the store donates part of their sales to the group, but the owner has volunteered for them. The owner also shows her commitment to native american concerns by lecturing and serving on local native american boards.
