Great rooms in amazing location From the outside, this property looks like an older style motel - but the rooms are just terrific. They have been recently renovated to a high standard and look fresh, bright and modern. We loved the rain shower with multiple settings, but we found the bed a little too soft for a comfortable sleep. The motel is in an amazing location, just a short walk from Kings Bay Park and Hunter Springs Park and there are also a number of shops, restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Husband child and I had a pleasant stay. We booked a kind room and it was recently renovated, had room to push aside table on room to have a queen air mattress for the kiddo. Super friendly and accommodating staff, they even gave us a key to storage room to store our paddle boards so we wouldn't have to stash them in our room. At about 6om every evening we would get a knock on our door with our continental breakfast for the next day. Our room was cleaned daily and new towels provided. We were between two parks located along crystal river which you could pay to park and launch and restaurants and shops within walking distance. Will return again! read more

Cute little motel in the heart of Crystal River Florida. Beautiful landscaping, every morning you can see squirrels chasing each other around and sing birds singing away. Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable with great fluffy pillows. There is a nice sized tv and a small fridge to place food items in. The staff provides you with additional towels and hair dryer upon request. They also provide you with a small breakfast with pastries or a croissant, yogurts, banana and small oj bottle. The shower was very modern and took me a little to figure out but it was fun. The only thing I would suggest would me a small microwave to heat leftovers. Highly recommend this place, it's close to so many shops and the near by parks. read more

It is really difficult to find a nice place here but this place did not disappoint. The property is older and small but completely redone with modern and spacious rooms and amazing landscaping outside. We arrived late so had to call and meet the manager to get our key. One thing to be aware of is they charge a $150 deposit so plan on that. We stayed here because we were swimming with manatees but not much else in this town. read more

Our stay was great. The room was close to Manatee Tour and Dive; we walked and rented a kayak to see the manatees. It is also only a few blocks from Hunter Springs Park. The room is clean and simple with a small flat screen TV, kitchenette. Bed was okay; we were tired when we got in it! I work online and the wifi was great. Quiet area. If you want luxury, go to one of the big chain hotels; this is a clean, simple place to rest between adventures. read more

THE ABSOLUTELY WORST HORRIBLE DISGUSTING STAY IVE EVER HAD. Rate $65 Exterior: Looks like a cheap stay, but overall outside is ok Interior: Smells like cleaning supplies. I walked into the restroom, saw a small roach. I thought I'd let that one pass, it IS Florida after all. Went to the bed, I didn't feel confident in laying on the actual sheets, so I folded the top comforter over. I closed my eyes for 5 minutes, felt something crawling on me. Opened my eyes and it was a ROACH STARING ME IN THE FACE. I RAN out of there to get my money back. The woman, who appeared to be foreign would NOT give me my money back because I was in the room for "40 minutes." "Had you been here less that 30 refund but 40 minutes no refund." I slept in my car that night. Yes, my car cramped with all of my things. I'd much rather sleep there than share the bed with roaches. It was obviously their room, and I was a guest. We have stayed in crystal river before and seen this place yes it is very close to everything but for $20 more could have stay right down the road. This place was a damp the ac is a window unit and was to small for the room so it was very hot. yes it a has a small kitchen but the lights did not work guess that way the blinds had pieces miss out of them. The manger or owners not sure could have cared less when I said something. $136 for two nights guess you get what you pay for fell like I need some money back they should have payed us to stay and on top of it all no pool. bast part the room had good water presser....this is way I gave them two stars. read more

After looking at the available rooms at the Crystal manatee, we decided not to stay there. The rooms I were shown were either dirty, smokey or with badly stained furniture. While it is in a good location I would fear for my health staying there. It does have kitchenettes and if you wanted to decontaminate the room before staying there you might have a successful stay. read more

Started out promising. Mgr was very accommodating with arrangements. We had our dog with us and when we showed up, we were not given the original room, but given another one in what turns out to be the older section. Not awful but close. We stayed the one night and then moved on. Just ask for the new section and I think you will be satisfied. read more

This place should be condemned!! It has to be the worst place we ever stayed. The only redeeming quality was location. Too bad the owners don't appear to want to improve it. Half of the rooms are not inhabitable!! The room was dirty and run down. The bathroom was so small it was almost unusable. An airplane toilet has more room. I would rather walk miles to the festival than stay here again!! read more
