My Family and I have hosted many parties at the Floral City community center and have nothing but…read moregood things to say about it.The building sits next to the library and across from the Shamrock Inn (restaurant), well known to locals and weekend bike riders. The community center has a fully equipped kitchen, serving bar, fireplace, and plenty of collapsible tables and chairs. Entrances off the front have a beautiful courtyard and off the back is the parking area with some picnic tables. You can use everything that isn't locked up as long as you put it back better than the way you found it. We usually bring our sides prepared and cook the main course on site. The building manager allows you to come in the night before free of charge.The Lions club manages it so if you need to rent it google them. Pricing currently it is $159, this includes a $50 refundable deposit if as I say you leave it better than the way you found it. That one $159 is upfront payment and refundable deposit you get back in a month or two. My only slight negative is the price seems to continuously increase every six months to a year. This is a respectable place and they want respectable people to rent it. We have used it for over 20 years or example Nanny's 70th bday, 3 baby showers, & Uncle Robbie's Memorial Service. Most people congregate inside and outside the back door of all of our events less than five will be found outfront usually smoking. We have set up multiple corn hole areas with no problems. We have served and fed over 70 people at one time there. I will post pics soon.
