While there was not many guests, reception, continental breakfast and housekeeping were all handled well. The room is akin to a basic hotel room, no frills but comfortable and there is a mini fridge. It was comfortable. My only complaint is the water pressure in the shower. My favorite feature is the manatee water fountain at the front of the property. Even if you choose to stay elsewhere, stop by to check out the fountain.

We received another confirmation email prior to our arrival that made it clear early check-in before 3 could not be accommodated so we were careful to arrive between the check-in hours of 3-9 PM. Check-in was easy and the room was very well appointed with everything we needed. We've stayed in everything from 5-star hotels in Europe and Indonesia to very cheap motels in small towns. This hotel competes with some of the better places we have stayed. The hotel is has been renovated by the owners and matches the cute quaint vibe of the city itself, Crystal River. It is also within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the water / boat ramps which we loved. The room came with a bottle of wine and some sweet treats which we really appreciated. Especially once we learned that getting a spot for dinner on Valentines Day in the small town was pretty much impossible. Because of this we opted to get carry out, open our wine, and enjoy the dessert left in the room. As others mentioned the room was spotless, we found the decor to be current and fresh, the bathroom was stunning, and the AC and refrigerator were perfect. We will return at the next possible time and highly, highly recommend.

Absolutely. The beds were so comfortable that getting out of them every morning was a challenge. The private boat ramp and direct access to the Homosassa River were complete game changers. We visited during the Fourth of July weekend and opening week of scalloping season, so being able to walk out the front door, hop on our boat from the private dock, and head sstraight onto the water was incredibly convenient. After experiencing that, I honestly can't imagine staying anywhere else. As an added bonus, we had front-row seats to an incredible Fourth of July fireworks show right from our front porch. There are 18 units that are efficiencies. They are kept very well and have a kitchen and lovely bathroom. Everything is provided for you. There is a spring fed pool that you can swim in. The property is adjacent to the water, so you can fish or sit outside and enjoy the view. The motel is located just a few blocks from downtown and there are restaurants, gift and coffee shops. There are trails and water near by and Dave took his electric bike all over today. What a great place to visit and relax for a few days! They even let us park Pandy right across from our room! They provide grills and briquettes for their quests and there is a covered area with picnic tables where you can eat. Thank you Kings Bay for an enjoyable stay! They gave us an old boat, radio didn't work, and top was extremely hard to retract which we had to do before going thru an underpass upriver. The boat acted weird but 1 hour down the river the boat completely quit! Called and they sent Todd an hour upstream (nice guy) to us. He couldn't get the boat started, so had to pull us back to their dock. So 3 hours spent on the water with only one hour of our 4 hour rental enjoyable. Todd assured us over and over they would make this right, we would not be charged, not our fault, etc. Todd did offer us another boat, but it was 3:30 and I'm sure they would not have waited for us to get our other 3 hours, I would not want to be on the river after dark! It's now March 11, we have returned to TN the end of Feb and still no credit for our broken down boat. After countless phone calls, the owner Stan finally agreed on March 6 to refund half our 300$ spent. It's now March 11 and no money has been refunded. Be careful renting from this company, and don't let them give you the old brown pontoon. If Todd had told us the policy was "no refund" we would have got another boat before we left the end of February!

The cottage itself had everything you'd need and was super clean. Cute little kitchen area, fully stocked with plates and utensils. Bathroom with plenty of towels, toiletries and places to hang your bags. There's also a living room area with tv and queen sized bed. The cottage is so cozy and decorated with the coolest art and books. The best part are the hosts/owners. Ian and Darrin were so warm and welcoming. You can tell they love what they do. They know all the best spots in town too! The cottages are also only a 15 minute walk to town. We walked everywhere when we were there which was good considering all the tasty diner food we had.

My toddler daughter had a long strand of someone else's hair wrapped up in her hair so if may have come from the floor or the couch. That was a little bit of a turn off. The sleep accommodations were nice. The bed was comfortable and there was more than enough room for two adults and a toddler. We loved that the porch was screened in as we enjoyed being out there. There was ample parking in a carport just below the unit. The location is great. While the town is small, this place was steps away from two breakfast spots, the local pizza restaurant, and several shops. It's also a very short walk to Dock Street, where the Harbour Master Suites office and their Dilly Dally Gally is, along with other restaurants and bars. While the place could use a little more attention to detail with cleaning, overall, we enjoyed our stay and the check-in and checkout process was quick. I would be interested to return at some point to see what the room options are like at the main site.

They genuinely made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Dining & Spa: We enjoyed the service at Tate's and Caretta, especially Eddie, Briana, and Katie. We also loved exploring local restaurants, with Clear Sky Café, Cesare at the Beach, and Columbia being some of our favorites. Robert at Cesare and Columbia was especially fantastic. The spa was another highlight, particularly the prenatal massage experience with Shannon and the couples massages we enjoyed with Jessica. The staff was wonderful and the spa was relaxing and intimate. There were, however, some disappointing aspects. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and there were several issues with the room, including the refrigerator placement, small safe, and shower door. We also felt the beach umbrellas should be included rather than an additional charge. Our biggest frustration was with the front desk and check-out process, particularly how some of our concerns and billing issues were initially handled. It took far too long to get everything sorted out, which was frustrating, especially at the end of an otherwise enjoyable stay. That said, I spoke directly with the General Manager about our experience, and I really appreciated how quickly he responded to my complaint and stepped in to help address the overall issue. His willingness to listen and make things right made a significant difference. Despite the areas that need improvement, we truly enjoyed our stay and are grateful we chose Sandpearl for such a special milestone. The resort has a beautiful setting and an incredible number of genuinely wonderful employees. With some improvements to housekeeping, front-desk communication, and overall service recovery, I believe Sandpearl has everything it needs to be an exceptional resort. They were able to give us a balcony room with a partial ocean view, which we were grateful for. The pool area is amazing, they had a firepit area as well. There is private beach access, beach chairs without an umbrella are free for the guests to use. This is probably the best hotel I have stayed at in Clearwater Beach so far and it would be very hard to go anywhere else.
