If you have issues communicating I suggest text or using Google Translate. The staff are very nice, welcoming and skilled. The process Or really the experience I had wad attentive and not rushed. I purchased an hour session and received a full hour treatment. I disrobed and the lights were dimmed. Light, calming music played setting the environment for me to relax. My technician was firm but gentle. She sought stress knots out meticulously and destroyed them and finally evicted them without notice!!!! It was so needed and honestly as stressed as I am I am sure I need more than one session. I think this will be the perfect place to get real self care, not just a run down. My locked up muscles were released and I can breathe easier now.

My husband and I booked a 90-minute couples massage at SVIP Massage, and it was very disappointing…read more We were taken to a room with two tables but given no instructions. My husband asked for focus on his back, but this wasn't followed. The massage lacked pressure and felt like lotion being lightly rubbed on our skin. Cold lotion was applied directly, which was uncomfortable. The therapist struggled with her chair and even moved the table while I was on it. Both therapists chatted in Chinese throughout. The room was very cold, and despite mentioning it, nothing changed. My husband also asked for deeper pressure, but it never improved. Communication was difficult due to a language barrier. The massage lacked flow, jumping between areas instead of working muscles properly. At the end, I tipped $20 each, but was told via translation app that $30 each was expected, which made things more uncomfortable. The therapists seemed kind, but overall the technique, communication, comfort, and professionalism fell far below expectations. We won't be returning.

The Caring Touch is not just massages, it's also about Sandra, the owner/ masseuse. You will not…read morewalk out of there feeling the same as when you walk in. It's just not humanely possible. Whatever you were carrying around w/ you, be it emotions, stress, anxiety, knotted up muscles, whatever....She will find it and get rid of it before you leave. This is therapy. I'm not massage guru but before the Caring Touch, I don't think I knew what the real measure of a massage could be. I had the 30- 60 min faux serenity now, beat you, bruise you, disconnected from you, get-you-in-and-out massage and that's all i knew. I wondered "why do people pay for this". Although, I've come to realize not all massage is bliss (b/c goshdarn it, kneading tensed toxic muscles can be quite painful), the way the masseuse applies that pain transforms the experience. It is clear that Sandra is not thinking of what she's gonna have for lunch, bills she needs to pay, or anything other than being in that room with you connecting with your body to relieve your discomfort. And she does it in a non-creepy nonverbally way (i can't deal w/ small-talk during a massage nor feeling like the massage means much to the person giving it than to me). The end result: you come out reformed; experiencing how your body once felt long ago all the time....to stand straight and relaxed w/o difficulty...even tired and a bit woozy from the experience. the downside: she's super popular so if you want her, get your appt scheduled well in advance. if you are an SU student, let her know b/c she gives discounts!

Sandra is wonderful. She is so smart and kind and really knows how to heal your body. I would not…read moretrust anyone else with my body!! Plus she is so kind to students with her student discount.
