Brace yourselves...this review is based on a recent service. I went with a friend who had booked my service here. I would have never booked here and that's saying something. Of course I won't mention how dirty the floor was. I wondered (more than once) if I were looking at kitty litter? The chairs were also gross or let's say dingy. White chairs were blackish/worn out.. My pedicure....the water was lukewarm and truthfully almost cool. I kept wanting it to end. The massage was painful or awkward? Between the toes is not soothing, it's odd. The color was nice . When I went to pay, she said they cannot take anything but cash tips or Zelle. She rang me up, I paid and she stood there staring at me. I don't have cash Ma'am! She ended up ringing up the tip separate. Wait she said she couldn't.... My friend had a manicure with gel nails. It looked pretty bad. I did rate it 5.5 out of 10. It wasn't a 6 due to the hair that was clearly in the gel of one nail. Part of the nails weren't even covered with gel. The worst part...yea even worse than the hair, she went to pay with a gift card purchased for her in THEIR website and they said they don't take those! Well they certainly took the payment online! This is my second time here to see Mary for the Golden Spa Pedicure. She did an amazing job giving me an awesome foot massage. My pores were thoroughly exfoliated with this treatment and my nails were cleaned, shaped and polished well. My pedicure was done so well it lasted almost a month. I wanted a refresh even though I could have waited a little longer. The paraffin wax, orange slices hot towel, and hot stones made for an even better experience. Her daughter Kay did my Manicure last time and gave me a beautiful nail design that complimented my skin tone. I always have a wonderful experience here. I made an appointment for a mani and pedi for 10 am on a Monday. When I got there, I was told to sit in the pedi chair and someone would help me. The woman who came out didn't understand English. I didn't want polish on my nails and had to tell her that 3 times. Then she started to take off the gel polish on my fingers. I didn't understand why she was doing that and she said 'new set' which is something I don't need and didn't ask for. I told the tech when I booked the appointment that I only had 2 hours and asked if both the mani and pedi could be done in that time. I really really wanted to like this place because some of the pictures of peoples nails look great and I ignored the bad ones. That was a mistake. I went in for a gel manicure and was paired with Nancy. I was excited to finally get a manicure after 6 months but it looks bad with my cuticles peeling and raw, my gel is peeling clean off and it's day 2, and I didn't get what I wanted because the woman doing my nails said she didn't like the color combination I wanted (which was a light pink and a darker pink) so I ended up with all sparkly pink nails. read more

I miss Tom. He was my #1 but when I called to get an appointment, they said there was no Tom working. I got paired with Tim. From the facebook posts, this guy was supposed to be amazing. He was 40 minutes late from my appointment due to giving a pedicure to someone else. When he finally got to me he hardly spoke and rushed through everything. He was going so fast that he messed up the powder on one of the nails and tried to blame me for not holding my finger back properly. After a week and a half, my nails are falling off and coming up at the cuticle and my hair is getting stuck in it. What made me very very sad is that I needed that day to somewhat pamper myself and all I ended up doing was crying because the nails looked so bad and I knew it ended up being a waste of money. read more

I got my nails done at the end of November and got black french tips with a nude base. I had my nails done today and Kim is very good. She pays attention to details. At the end of my visit the owner came in. He walked around and then went to the back of the salon. A few minutes later he started yelling at an employee. She emerged from the back and he followed continued to yell. This is not a good thing to be doing in front of customers. I confronted him as I was leaving and told him how unacceptable his behavior was. He should have taken the employee to another location. He told me this was how he takes care of his business. Unfortunately my words fell on deaf ears. He does not care about people. He turned around and walked away. What happened to integrity? This was not a good day for all who witnessed this. I've been going to this salon for a few years now. The employees are always friendly and professional. My gel manicures were always done well but tonight I chose to do dip powder! Paul was a very attentive nail tech. He was personable, engaging and a lot of fun! Also, and more importantly, the dip was done PERFECTLY, albeit better than the gels I used to get. At first, they really pissed me off because I made reservations for me and my mom on Saturday for 11, DAYS IN ADVANCED. We waited an HOUR to be seen!!! However, in spite of their failure to properly manage time... Ken really saved the day. I wasn't going to tip because I was furious on the whole situation. But Mr Ken. soaked my acrylic nails in acetone while doing my mom's manicure. He made both of us laugh and was incredibly friendly. Afterwards, he started to do the dip powder fullSet for me. Review 2: I've been disappointed the past few times I have been here... every time I get my nails done with "gel polish" they chip within like 2-3 days, when it's supposed to last 2 weeks. It's so irritating. Also my nails are so uneven and crooked it's ridiculous, they also have bubbles. When I got gel polish at my old salon where I'm from they lasted like 4 weeks!! & the past few times coming here they have barely lasted even a few days. I might have to find another place to go to. I really think the colors aren't gel that they use, they only use a top coat that's gel..that's what I'm beginning to think. There is no excuse for how bad this place is and the job was. I had one person do my feet and another person do my hands. Both did so terribly that I was beginning to have an anxiety attack. They tore up the cuticles on my toes to the point of bleeding and I am in pain still. Not to mention they look like a 6 year old just started painting nails. They also did a horrible job on my fingers. They look clumsily cut and uneven, and they didn't even do enough layers on the nails so they're still see-through and partially finished. NOT TO MENTION I WAS OVERCHARGED FOR $150 and denied a refund. I asked for a gel manicure and pedicure and did not ask for extensive massage work but of course they did that under my nose because I am a white man that only speaks English. I was at Euro Nails the Saturday before Easter 2023 and I needed an English speaking pedicurist as the first language because I have a bleeding issue on my right first toe. There were no English speaking pedicurists available and was given quite the opposite. She was able to work around the right first toe BUT she failed and bled the pinky toe on my right foot and there is excruciating pain and extreme soreness. I did not notice this problem until I got home. And I gave a generous tip to her. She fooled me!!! Never will I step in Euro Nails again!!! read more

Worst salon experience I've ever had. I got a dip manicure ($40) that was done extremely fast, I was surprised that my manicure experience lasted less than 30mins. i honestly think this was my worst experience in a nail salon. I went with my friend to get a pedicure and everything was going fine til it was time for the polish. My friend and I decided to both get the same color and when her lady asked for the polish my nail lady smacked my legs and said what are you doing in a rude voice. Read the reviews and saw where appointments weren't always handled first. That was certainly our experience. Made a 2pm appointment for my mom and me. Showed up at 1:55pm. Greeted very nicely by the owner (?). Gave us a color card to look at and put us in chairs within 10 minutes. Which is where we sat, without soaking, for the next 20 minutes until I said something. Then someone started on me. But my mom didn't get someone until 20 min later. I tried not to get too upset but the reason why I booked us a time was because we had to be in Winchester by 3:30. It is now 3:15 and my mom just finished. We only got the basic pedi which is supposed to be 30 minutes. This is my first time here. Got a Brazilian wax here because every other place in the area was booked. It was honestly traumatizing. I've had several other waxes at different places and this was a last resort because I really needed one but I should have just tried to do it myself. The lady obviously had no idea what she was doing and didn't wear gloves, I asked her to and she looked at me like I was crazy. It lasted over an hour and I left bleeding with parts of my skin ripped off and bruised. And the worst part is that after all of that I still had hair in some spots. My pedicure was mediocre at best, (uneven toenails, cuticles and dry skin not tended to) but my manicure was a definite failure! The "Gel" polish chipped within an hour, and my nails were left surprisingly ragged, with goopy, uneven polish application on all of my fingernails. I have polish on my fingertips and cuticles, and she didn't even clean my nails thoroughly! Definitely not worth it. I'm so disappointed that I wasted almost $100 (including the tip) to have pretty hands and relaxed feet for my new job...it's just so disappointing.
