Nick (the owner) has been doing my nails for over 20 years, and I genuinely won't go to anyone else. He's incredibly consistent, detail-oriented, and just gets it every time. If he's ever unavailable, his wife is amazing too! She does such a great job and I always feel totally confident booking with her. What sets this salon apart is not just their skill, but how much they care about staying current. They travel all over to learn new techniques, keep up with trends, and bring back the latest products. You can really tell in the huge selection of colors and add-ons they offer! The atmosphere is another big reason I keep coming back. They're so warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to. I've come in with some pretty complicated design ideas before, and they're always excited to try them. And if I have no clue what I want, they'll actually take the time to help me figure something out instead of rushing me. One thing I really appreciate is how comfortable they make me feel. At other salons, I've felt intimidated speaking up if I didn't love the shape or color, but not here. They're super approachable and genuinely want you to be happy with your nails! They're also really kind and accommodating. If I ever have a nail break, they'll get me in quickly and fix it for little to no cost. I've gone to this salon three times. They offer more color and design options than most other salons but the service on my last visit was the most disappointing service I've had in years. I called to see if they had time for me, they said yes and I arrived 2 hours before they closed for a full set. First they cut me taking off my old set. Then they had me soak my nails which burned very bad where they had just cut me. I sat there with the foil on my fingers for a full hour and a half before they could get back to me. Eventually I just took the dried foils off and waited. By the time they finished helping literally everyone else I was the last person in the salon, getting my nails done a full hour after they had closed. They nails looked good but because they rushed putting them on the designs were crooked and over the next week three of my nails just popped off like they were press ons. For making me wait 2 extra hours on top of the maybe one hour it took to do my nails and for the cutting my finger they offered me a $15 discount. I didn't think it was very fair but I paid $80 PLUS TIP for a full set. Then they proceeded to keep popping off throughout the week. I had to glue four of the nails back down. I called today to come back for a new full set and a pedicure. I expected to pay full price for a pedicure but kindly requested the nail set be discounted because of the poor service and super poor results from my current set. I've never had multiple nails pop off like this. The person answering the phone and Nick the manager were both argumentative. They refused any discount on my nails because they already gave me one... even though the discount was not considering the retention of the nails. I really did like this place before I realized how poor their customer service is. My visit was not pleasant. I went in for a regular nail polish manicure and pedicure. Nicole was condescending, was not interested in listening to anything I had to say. I requested trying two different colors to see which one I wanted to try (which is routine in most nail spas) and she brushed my request aside and said just choose one as they are two different colors. Sure. Next she says to me looks like you don't get your nails done often. I don't know why I have to justify or say anything, it's a treat for me. I requested the nail polish around my cuticles to be cleaned up, it looked messy, and she didn't do a good job and started giving excuses about staying away from the cuticles. Subpar nail polish application, it didn't look like I had my nails done at a salon. The guy doing my pedicure was very sweet, and made sure the foot massage was good. This store was clean and they had a wide variety of colors. I got a mani (shellac) and normal pedi for 70$ (before tip). It took 1.5 hours (they did pedi first then mani)--so my pedi was dry by the time I was done. I had two different people do my nails. I had a good experience with my toes and "eh" with my nails. When you pick a color, you just tell them the number but don't bring them the polish (which wasn't clear at first). Initially they grabbed the wrong color but I noticed it and they found the right one. The man who did my toe polish did a nice job. He checked over each one and even redid one of my toes 2x to make sure it was smooth--which I appreciated! For my fingers, the "nail prep" wasn't great. The scrubbing/buffing ended up rubbing on my skin and caused some cuts which hurt. The cuticle cutting also cut me and ended up making me bleed (which she did say sorry for). Some of the polish on my nails looks a little thin and inconsistent. It's fine but I wouldn't go back for shellac since it's comparable in prices to other places. Best gel manicure I've had in years. Found them on a whim after calling several other places and being unable to get in on a Friday. I was nervous after reading some of the poor reviews but I was desperate to have my nails cleaned up for a wedding so I went in anyway. Such a great experience! With good conscious I can barely give this place 2 stars. They could care less about the customers and they act like it's just the language barrier. We had an appt for 2 pedis today. They started one of us and didn't start the other until FIFTY minutes later! And even then it was only after we asked them. Then the girl came and put acetone on my toes and left for over 20 mins. My feet started stinging and I had to have someone go find her. It was horrible. When I told her my feet we stinging she just looked at me like she had no clue what I was saying.... the same look she gave the lady next to me when she told her the wax was too hot. But I had a dip manicure done (which usually lasts 3 weeks) and the color was pulling away from my tips only a couple days later. They look awful and it's only been 6 days. This place is hugely inconsistent. I had one waxing that was great, but my last visit included brow and lip wax, and mani pedi. It was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. My eyelid was cut in two places because the wax person pressed too hard with the the wooden applicator. My lip also had an abrasion on it (I don't think the wax was hot enough).
