This was my first time at this salon and I was looking forward to it based on recommendations. It was the worst pedicure I've ever had. The woman doing my toes was new to the salon, I confirmed this when I asked the woman at the front desk when I paid. I let her know she didn't do a very good job. She cut my cuticles at the wrong angle and cut too close to my skin. She painted my skin around my toes and didn't clean it up very well. The salt scrub was dry, she didn't massage my feet, and didn't get remove any dry spots on my heels. I don't have anything positive to say. When I nicely recommended to the woman who was at the front desk that the new person should practice more before doing pedicures on paying clients she did offer to scrub my heels more, but I have 3 kids and was out of time. I did give a couple suggestions on what she could do better and was nice as can be about it. A discount or apology would have been nice. I do not recommend this place and will not be returning. read more

Do not recommend this location. I went there for a mani/pedi and I arrived an hour and a half before closing. The pedi was okay, had polish on my skin but after a shower it went away. The mani with shellac portion though was not as expected, the lady I had was extremely impatient when removing the shellac and didn't buff my nails properly before adding the current color so now it's all bumpy, the nail on the sides are lifting only after two days also there's a lot of places where you can see she messed up. read more

These guys are the best. I'd never gotten a pedicure before but started going with my wife when our daughter left for school. Didn't realize what I'd been missing. Now I look forward to getting my toes done every 3 weeks. Even better Michael and Anna have a great family and we love hearing about their boys. Highly recommend Crystal Nails!! read more

A couple days ago I left a good review for this place having had good experiences the 3 or 4 times I'd been there. Other people on Google were saying they were rude, dirty, brutal, and I felt the need to stick up. Well...Friday afternoon my daughter and I stopped in for mani/pedis. They were full and we only waited about 10 minutes. The issue I have is with the tech who did my nails - wish I would have gotten her name. It's almost like these nail shops don't want them to be identified as individuals lest the better techs take all the request business (no introductions, name tags, etc. and I never got the name of the girl who actually does a good job, grrr-my bad). Anywhooo...whoever she was brutalized my feet and hands in a very hostile, agressive manner. She was surly, very rough on my hands and feet, and I"m sure I have some damage to my nail beds. It had only been about a month since I had a pedicure and my feet weren't that rough-just typical summer in sandals dry areas-no major calluses. She proceeded to use a power tool (like a dremel with a round rotating sanding disk) to exfoliate my feet. I actually thought she was going to cut me with how she was using quick, jabbing motions to attack my feet. At one point I cried out (when she hit the area between where my big toe connects to my sole-thin skin there!) and said "ouch that hurt!" She actually shrugged her shoulders, rolled her eyes and smirked at me. OMG. I made it through that part thankfully, and to make the story shorter, left with some areas being rougher than when I went in along with a sloppy polish job (polish on my cuticles she didn't bother to clean off). Oh and I had asked her to cut my toenails bc I like them short but she ignored me and just filed them. Now for the manicure: short version-she asked me to pay before she polished and while she was ringing it up I used the restroom, washed my hands, and applied lotion (like I do every time I wash my hands). I asked her to use the alcohol again to remove the oils from my nails bc I had gotten lotion on them and she said no (I asked her twice)! Unbelievable...Total hateful attitude. The result was that the polish peeled off within 12 hours (big surprise). I had planned to go back and ask them to redo it, but I'm done with this shop. Be wary if you choose to go - I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience (see Google reviews). I'm okay with nail techs not being chatty and quietly doing their job or talking in Vietnamese to each other, but to be contemptuous, hostile, and dangerously aggressive is uncalled for. read more

I have gone in once before and had decent service. I stopped in for a gel manicure and the lady kept pushing French manicure on me. I had a French manicure on already and she kept on saying "oh no, your hands look better with a French manicure". Um, ok. I was going to get one anyway, so I let her do the French manicure. Only one word for how it came out- craptastic. The white polish came out clumpy. When I pointed it out to her, she just said "oh the lamp must be too hot". Again, um, ok. I asked her to fix it and she just said "ohhhh it's fine". I asked her name twice and she gave me two different names! Last time I'll be at this nail salon. read more

I haven't written a review for Crystal Nails yet, but wish I did before today; it would have been 5 stars. I've always had Michael do my nails and they're always amazing. Today I came in and he was busy, so Tina Pham did my nails. I'll be calling in to make my appointments in advance going forward, so that I don't take the chance of Michael not doing my nails. Tina cut me twice during the manicure and after I asked her for a thicker white french line, she confirmed "thicker, not thin white line". When she did my first hand and I saw it was very thin, I asked her to please do it thicker and she told me she wasn't done yet. She did the second coat and it was still very thin. I don't believe she understand the difference between thick and thin white lines. The gel on my left hand fingernails was very bad and she accused me of touching inside the light, which I most certainly did not. The end results is not what I wanted, very thin french white line and two cuts on my thumb. I'll be coming back, but only Michael will be doing my nails from now on; he's 5+ stars. read more

I spoke with Michael the owner about my defective dip powder manicure and he was very short with me over the phone, but promised to fix it for me. I came in at the time he asked, yet I waited for over an hour to actually be helped. I was passed around from technician to technician about 5 times, moving to their different desks yet without any of them doing much besides taking off the defective product from my nails, looking at my nails and yelling about it to each other across the salon. One woman redid 2 of my nails, once she said she was finished and I said, "wait hold on, Michael told me he would fix all of them". At the beginning when I arrived, he looked at my nails and said he thought they looked perfect despite the large chips and rough edges with a sticky texture. Despite thinking they looked "fine", he had said he would redo all of them. Once I told the technician who redid 2 of my nails that Michael had said he would fix them all, he came over and reneged on what he had told me earlier. He started arguing and screaming at me, saying he didn't have time to redo my nails because they were closing soon. He said to come back the following day and he would give a half off coupon. I questioned him, asking why I'd want to come back and give him more money after being treated so poorly in his salon, with such a sloppy job done on my nails, waiting for over an hour and then being passed around only to have my time wasted. When showing him the chips, rough edges, and product on my skin his response was, "it looks good enough, nobody will see it or notice". I told him that I didn't appreciate him lying to me saying he would take care of it and then reneging on his promise. I tried my best in working with him but finally realized he wasn't going to help me, so I walked out. read more

As a first time customer I was incredibly impressed! This place was very clean and the service was amazing. I will at any point pay slightly more for a deluxe pedicure to get the "A" list treatment! Would not EVER go back. Left me soaking my old acrylic nails in acetone for 20 min while she did a pedicure on a walk in. Ripped my old nails off myself , got so bored. The lady was VERY VERY rough and seemed like she was in a big hurry. When I pointed out a spot under one of my nails that had a big lump of acrylic she said, "I do nails 18 years, I know how to do". Put the tips on so fast, most were the wrong size. Lumps of acrylic under my nails were overlooked on all but 2 nails. When I asked about the awful fumes ( no ventilation), her response was" It my job , I have to smell fumes." I do not have to smell those awful fumes at other salons, or leave with acrylic stuck under my nails. If your at the front door, turn and run away as fast as you can!! read more

I tried Crystal Nails yesterday, and if the previous complaints were accurate, then they've learned something from the reviews, since I had a terrific experience there. Kevin was very engaging and friendly and had me in for my mani/pedi in an expedient manner. Kelly did the pedi and Tina did my shellac mani (both a the same time...unexpected and much appreciated!). Since your first visit is 20% off, treat yourself with the deluxe pedi...hot rocks feel wonderful.Likely the best pedi/mani I've had in a very long time. I am so disappointed. While the salon was super clean and the staff very nice, I feel like I just wasted $180. My daughter got acrylics and they look like a child put them on. They nails were sized wrong, they were think and clumpy, and just look so unprofessional. Her nails were cut and prepped so poorly that it caused hang nails and she is in pain. They are so bad I had to file them down and fix them at home. I am not a nail tech and they still look better. I got gel and within a day they bubbled and are peeling off. So far our pedis are good, but what a compete waste of money. As nice as they are, this was such a waste and we won't be going back. Wish I could get my money back...Such a waste and a disappointment as we were celebrating her good grades and my birthday. read more

I also found the previous bad reviews to be incorrect. This salon has new owners and they are very good and care a lot about their customers. This salon is the cleanest I have ever seen. The chairs are new and comfy. Even the bathroom is great with nice white towels to dry your hands. The staff is very friendly and my nails are perfect. Yes some of the staff has no confidence in their English and that old be interpreted as rude. But everyone I talked to tried really hard. As a side note: do you know why most nail salons are owned by Vietnamese? We they are typically South Vietnamese and their parents or grand papers worked with our troops side by side, during the Vietnam war. After we left, those same people who stood along side our troops were then gathered up and put in North Vietnamese prisons for years. Their families were considered enemies of the state and many could barely scrape by, had no education, and very little resources. When they were let out, if they could prove they worked for our government they were allowed to come to the us. This took many years however and so they lived very difficult lives in a communist. Country. When they arrive here, with no education, the only thing for them to do is nails, while their parents who are often college educated work menial jobs. And remember those people who worked with us don't get the benefits that our vets get, but still have the same health problems. So that's it. read more

I love my nails, but the prices were very misleading. I stopped in this nail salon and was excited that they had a selection of colored acrylic powders, as I like doing different colors for my nails. DON'T think their specials will apply to you. Several women including myself were surprised by our final costs. My nails came to $55 for acrylic and some polka dots. I was told I had pink and whites done, which the salon I normally go to charges me for acrylic as I had no pink nor white! The regular price list (not the specials) said Pink and Whites were $35, so that means a few polka dots were $20? I have that paint at home, so if I was $20 worth, I would have easily done them on my own! I suppose the icing on the cake was watching an employee's dog urinate on the carpet and running around the salon. I love dogs, but for the safety of other customers, it's not a good idea to let a dog loose in a salon. I think I'll practice patience in the future and use my regular salon that doesn't screw with their prices and had urine-free floors. read more

I went here after someone told me how wonderful they were and could usually get in and out in about an hour. I signed in about 5 mins after 2 ladies. These 2 ladies ahead of me where shown where the nail polish was, offered water and magazines. After waiting 25 mins with NO service I finally asked about the wait time. They were rude and mean saying it would be awhile. WHAT??? Why be mean and why not offer a water or do the same nice things for every customer? I just left. read more

I really enjoy returning to this salon again and again. I feel like royalty when they offer me a glass of wine with my foot massage and pedicure.
