I lifted the lid and before I could react, I heard the keys slide between the bed and cab of the truck. I couldn't see them on the ground or anywhere. I had a friend come get me so I could get my spare keys, and I went to Mavis to see if they could put it up on the lift and see if they could find them. Within an hour of my drive, my tire pressure warning light came on, which was quite concerning. Upon arriving at my sister's home, she highly recommended Mavis Tire in Hudson due to their excellent service and knowledgeable staff. She has always had positive experiences with this location. I made an appointment for the Friday after Christmas and was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the location - you could eat off the floor; it was that spotless! Perry, the manager, was extremely knowledgeable, particularly with the model of my vehicle. He quickly identified that the issue with my tire pressure light was likely due to a tire sensor, and he was right. Fortunately, they had the part in stock and were able to replace it while I waited. While waiting, a very nice mechanic informed Perry that my vehicle was a quart low on oil. This came as a shock because I had just taken my vehicle to a Mavis location in South Florida the day before arriving in Hudson, and they should have informed me of this, so I'm very glad that the Hudson Mavis informed me. By the time I left Mavis in Hudson, my vehicle had been repaired and even test driven, which was very impressive. In addition to Perry, all of the employees at the Hudson location were incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. As a single woman in my 60s, it was very comforting to know that my vehicle was in the hands of such capable and caring people. I highly recommend Mavis Tire located at 12229 Little Rd., Hudson, FL. Angel (both father and son) were very accommodating and helpful. When looking at used cars you never have a guarantee, but you can tell when a dealer is trying to be as honest as possible about the cars. We found a 2011 Honda that was priced well below market value, and had our mechanic look at it. I test drove with my mechanic and it passed every test. I asked for the service history and he showed me some records from the carfax showing it had some major services done, so i agreed to buy the vehicle despite these issues. I asked him to send me the carfax so i could have the service history. And when i was doing the paperwork i asked him to look up the radio code, and he showed me a youtube video about how easy it was and we would do it when the purchase was done. Of course i drove off and he never gave it to me, when i got home i looked it up myself and got the code only to find out all the speakers were blown out... Not even a week later the power steering was making noise and leaking like crazy, turns out it needed a new line that is 6+ hours of labor to install. At this point i was very frustrated, and called again to ask for the car fax that was never sent, again gave me some bs excuse that he no longer has an account with carfax and he cant provide that (after saying he would). What a joke. All this guy does is buy auction vehicles and flips them. Doesn't even do the bare minimum to ensure a car is road ready or safe. Stay away from this place.

When my dad went to drive off he realized Jorge cracked the exterior cover that goes in front of the windshield/wipers. Jorge said he would try to get him one from the junkyard. My dad said he wanted the one that matches his vehicle and when he looked it up he said no he couldn't get him a new one because of how much it cost and that my dad's vehicle was older so not worth it. My dad said can you at-least take $80 off my bill and he said no. He wouldn't take off more than $50 off. Ever since he did the job my dad's vehicle now leaks when it rains.
