As someone who has purchased a lot of vehicles over the years, Maus Nissan of Brooksville I can confidently say is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with bar none. In 2023 I went to this dealership and purchased a 2022 Chevrolet Camaro 2LT. What drew me to this vehicle was the competitive price listed online, so a couple of friends and I went to go see it. I brought my trade and sat down with a sales person. After I test drove the car I told him I wanted to move forward. After letting someone else demo the car in front of me while they had my approval in hand and after a few hours i reluctantly decided to move forward. Once I got into finance I was pressured into purchasing an extended warranty that I did not want in order to get a rate I more than qualified before. The whole car buying experience was stressful from the start, and you would think that would be the end of it. But no, they manage to make it worse. Within 30 days I sold the vehicle because I was not satisfied with its condition. Regardless of warranty, with how poorly I was treated I wanted nothing to do with this dealer. So I traded the car in and had to still return to get my extended warranty refunded. Fortunately that was the least stressful part of my whole interaction with them. The reason why I am writing this review is because since this purchase I have received non stop calls, text messages, and emails from people at this dealership. FOR YEARS even though I do not own the car that I purchased from them and after several times telling whoever called me to leave me alone the calls persist. The number is blocked, yet I constantly receive voicemails still. I hope whoever at Maus Nissan reading this removed my name from whatever list it is on. I am tired of being harassed. Don't ever go to this dealer, and if you unfortunately do you may need a new number and email in order to be left alone.

And now she will not honor a true warranty her idea of a solution in this situation is for me to return the National Brand Napa battery and put in another Electro crap battery. Before we drove up I asked if the car was worth it and Ray assured me the car was flawless. When we arrived, the car was OK, but not close to flawless. During the test drive I discovered a small problem with the convertible top mechanism and a sound in the door. Ray assured me it was a minor problem and it would be fixed in Miami for $20. His exact words were that the top was working perfectly fine before. I trusted Ray's words and decided to move forward with the purchase. Now three months in, the top hasn't functioned properly once. The sound in the door has become worse with the day, forcing me to bring it to the shop. At the shop they informed me the complete doorpanel was fixed with one screw and put together extremely poorly. The windows were not airtight to the top ($250 per side for adjustment, including repairment of doorpanel) and repairing the top itself could range anywhere from $350 to $750. Also they confirmed there was no possibility the top had ever functioned properly before in this condition. I have called and emailed Highway Motors multiple times without an answer and I have decided to leave it here. Don't buy your car from these guys. Although prices look good and cars look clean, these people lack honesty.

We were presented with a worksheet showing numbers that worked for us. Nick said the next step was completing a credit application. After our credit was run, Nick returned and said they had "made a mistake" on the worksheet and that one of our trades hadn't been listed properly -- meaning they could no longer honor the deal. No manager came out. No real explanation. No attempt to resolve it. Running a customer's credit before verifying deal accuracy is unacceptable. Credit pulls affect your financial profile, and that should never happen unless the dealership is confident in the numbers they present. This felt misleading and extremely unprofessional. If there was an error, it should have been caught before pulling credit. Be cautious -- this experience left us feeling like our credit was used as leverage after the fact. Not how business should be done.

I had to call in, wait on hold, be transferred to different departments, and had to leave voicemails. The advisor would tell me when the repairs would be complete. That would be followed up with another delay in the repairs being finished. (Parts being shipped, mechanics couldn't complete a repair, etc.) The final kick in the head came when I picked up the car. I was charged for several items I did not approve. Since my Advisor was unavailable, I spoke to another Advisor. He called my Advisor, and I was told the charges were correct. A Supervisor got involved. He was unwilling to discuss the extra charges. The bottom line is that I should just pay the bill. If it's on the invoice, then it's correct. There is no opportunity to question Brooksville GMC. Padding an invoice seems to be standard practice. Nobody at the dealership seemed surprised that a customer was complaining about over-charges. Obviously, enough new customers are coming in the doors that Brookville GMC can treat their customers poorly and expect they'll just suck it up.
