I was told to keep them dry for 48 hours initially, but worked out and showered, so I am fully responsible for the initial application not lasting. I wear contacts, and I work out to a good sweat. After my fill in 4 days ago, I am really impressed at how pretty they look and they do not irritate my eyes at all. The fill-in? LOVE it! Now, for the location... this is a suite in an ancient decrepit building. I will tell you that mapping to this building is not easy - best to come in on the back side off Evergreen just before the Speedway at the Lodge service drive. Also, the suite is on the 3rd floor and the stairwell between 2 & 3 is not well lit and the elevator creeped me out! They had incense burning on my first visit in the waiting space. They all were priced from about $6 to $17. I had suggested we try a Dollar Store sometime as they may have something more like what she wanted. So today we were on our way to a dinner meeting in Southfield traveling on 10 Mile Road when she spotted a Dollar General store, on the opposite side of the road, in rush hour traffic, that I would need to cross again on my way out...so I did what any husband should do, I put on my signal and waited for someone to let me in! To make a short story even shorter, the Dollar General Store did not have what she wanted but the lady there was so nice to suggest she try K Beauty Mart next door. The guy there was very nice and showed her what he thought she was looking for and it was. And that's how our search for a small handheld mirror came to an end. When you walk in, the atmosphere is soothing and smells amazing. And Monique is warm and welcoming - it was my first time meeting her, yet she felt like an old friend.
