It looks like a garage sale of laser machines, boxes and ointments. The treatment itself was the Evoke machine which is legit, but I had to ask her to turn it down because it was burning my face. Afterwards she said it takes 5-7 treatments to see results, so the 'rescue' treatment is a bit of a ruse. 1 treatment does nothing basically so it was a waste of time and money. Finally - I googled her and she was indicted on Medicare fraud, she's no longer allowed to bill Medicare, which is why I presume she's now focusing on cosmetic procedures instead. She was nice enough, but I wouldn't go back.

I went in for that single service, which left bruising and absolutely no visible results. What followed was one of the most disturbing and unethical experiences I've had in a medical setting. After disclosing my thyroid and adrenal health issues to the provider and stating clearly I needed to consult my endocrinologist before proceeding with any treatments like Kybella or GLP-1, I was still pressured to apply for financing. I was told it "wouldn't impact my credit" and was approved for $1,500 through a third-party platform called Cherry. The next day, without receiving any further services or signing off on anything, I was charged the full $1,500. When I asked for a receipt, I was ignored. Then someone impersonating the doctor (later admitting he was not her) messaged me, claimed I had already received injections, and still failed to send a receipt. They even created a second $200 Cherry plan just because I asked for documentation. I never received the promised six rounds of Kybella. I never received a single GLP-1 shot. Yet they submitted documentation claiming I did. This is now part of an active complaint with the Michigan Attorney General (ID: 2025-cp04171602666-A) and a BBB case (ID: 23078032), which the business has refused to respond to. I have screen recordings, medical lab results from Henry Ford Health, and full documentation of the deception -- all of which I've shared with investigators. To this day in May 2025, I still have not gotten a receipt.

I need to start this by letting you all know that I have been Rita's client for 3+ years on and…read moreoff. I have given her good word of mouth, referred friends and my own family. I trusted her for the longest time, until I realized that I had to start standing up for things that wasn't right and she didn't know how to be a professional business owner. A few months back, September 202,  I was getting laser treatment done and the tech hit my tattoo with the machine. I know that she did not mean to hit my tattoo, but it left my skin with damages for weeks. My tattoo was ruined. Parts were missing and it was faded alot from the bold. I tried finding a resolution with rita on hopefully getting that session for free or something since it meant I had to go pay to redo it and she refused to offer me the session for free. I said okay, what can we do then because I was extremely upset. They offered to get it done by some random person they know who does tattoos (which i am not comfortable with, I need/would rather have my artist to fix it since it was his work) and you cannot just trust anyone to do your tattoos. I was still continuing to do laser sessions with her after the incident and noticed that she forgot to cover my armpits one session. I told her that she forgot to (and why would I lie right? I have been her loyal client for years, I can obviously remember if she did it or not) and she is so prideful to understand that it is normal to miss spots. I nearly had to beg her to refund me for the area $10 only, which I don't understand how its only $10 but okay. That already had me upset. Fast forward now to January 2022, I texted her at January 12 at 3:26 pm wanting to update her and REMIND her that she offered to cover the damages of my tattoo by REIMBURSING ME. I let her know that I was going to fix the tattoo and she agreed to "touching up the areas that are damaged". What she failed to understand is that the entire tattoo was damaged because the ink became very light and other parts were gone. Does it make sense for me to fix my tattoo only halfway? Have some spots completely darker than the other? NO. Even my tattoo artist, who is a PROFESSIONAL, told me that it was a must that I get the entire tattoo touched up. Once I finished getting my tattoo fixed, I sent her the receipt (which she asked for) and I sent her pictures of my before and afters to see what it looked like vs what it was supposed to look like. It was a $100. To me, if I was a business owner and I had loyal clients, I would do anything to make the situation correct, especially if it was a wrong on my end, but no, Rita is very prideful and money hungry. Now, fast forward to me texting her, she was completely trying to avoid me every other day that I was texting her. I was being VERY patient with her, more than the average person would be. I touched it up January 13, and now, here I am on January 24th having to write this. This issue should've been resolved the first day or two, not almost 2 weeks later. I am writing this review because I really want you all to understand that it is important how a business treats you BEFORE AND AFTER things get rough. I support small businesses and have been supporting the same ones for 10+ years! I am done being silenced and if this is where you choose to take your business, be my guest. I loved it here, but after seeing how little my business/respect meant to her, this is nothing to me. You have to treat your clients fairly, especially when they are your loyal good clients who have brought much business to you. I will move forward some where else where they actually value you when there is an issue needing to be fixed. Went here for lip filler and Botox specials almost 2 years ago. I never left a review at the time,…read morebut now that I'm going to get filler and have to have everything dissolved and redone since it was so poorly placed and overfilled- Im more than a little annoyed and deciding to do so. The injector I went to ended up totally botching and unevenly placing my lip filler here. I reminded her multiple times at the consult that I didn't want the keyhole look because I saw she did that with some clients- she still gave me a keyhole (lol). Also, the top lip was bigger than the bottom and wayyy too much filler was placed on one side, so it was bigger than the other side and lumpy. She said this is how her clients "naturally swell" because of the technique she uses, and to give it a few weeks. After a few weeks, you can see in the picture that the upper left side on my lip was obviously still bigger than the right side. I went back to have it fixed and she ended up having to put more filler in the other side of my lip to even it out (yes I paid for another syringe to do this). When I mentioned how the top lip was still bigger than the bottom lip, she said that we would wait to put more in the bottom lip because she thought the top lip would even out to be proportionate as the swelling subsided (I still had half a syringe left). After a couple more weeks, I called to confirm that I wanted to come in and use the last half of my syringe that I had remaining to fill out the bottom lip to make it even since it was in fact NOT proportionate. The front desk told me that I had no remaining filler left. I reached out to the injector directly about this since she said I could come back, and she ignored me (lol). I don't mind that she messed up, we're all human and that's going to happen. I just didn't care for how instead of owning up to it, she kept gaslighting me saying it wasn't messed up and that it "looked good" and then acted like I was an inconvenience for coming in to get it fixed. Never once did I act rude or upset, and I tipped every time I went for injections and to get it fixed. (This is the first medspa that has also ever asked me to tip for Injectables). Overall, vibes were not good here and I would avoid if you're expecting professional & reliable treatment

I did not have a good experience at Rose Laser and Skin Care. I came for an underarm wax and…read morefacial, and was left with painful rashes lasting several days. My esthetician was Donna, and she used a strip wax for my underarms. Most estheticians don't do this, as underarms are sensitive and a hard wax is much better. The technique was not good. She applied a very thin layer of wax, and there was a lot of leftover hair as well (see my photos). This resulted in her having to go over the same areas again, resulting in the irritation. I thought the facial was just mid - there could have been better attention to detail. Slower strokes, more relaxing and intentional, would have made it a better facial. After my services, I brought everything to attention of another employee, Wafa. First she said "My boss would be happy to refund you". And then it changed to "My boss did not approve the refund". I was offered the chance to come back in so they could re-do it, but I declined. I was told the owner, Rose, would be reaching out to me, and she never did. As a first-time customer, if you don't provide a good first experience initially, I am not going to return. Beyond this, everyone was at least friendly. It's too bad it wasn't a good fit. I would have been a regular.
