She was also able to sell me microdermabrasion facial which I had not gotten it done as such before, I think that was the reason my face is not breakout free. Throughout these years I had not noticed that on my face before so clearly something she did worked!! Definitely coming here back again for both these services. I've been getting botox for many years and have learned that the injections cannot be too close to my eyebrows or it causes my eyelids to droop. I told her this when I first came in. Then while she was cleaning my forehead, she was also wiping my eyebrow. I told her, "why are you wiping that area? Please, do not inject botox so close to my eyebrow, I know what I'm talking about." Did she listen or care? NO - She injected right into my eyebrow, I should have gotten up out of the chair immediately! I went back a week later to show them (the one that did injections and another lady) the poor results and they said she could inject MORE botox! Everyone knows that you cannot fix a droopy eyelid with more botox. I wanted my money back but they just offered me more injections - she obviously doesn't know what she is doing or she just doesn't care, how could I trust her to inject more?! As a result, I went on vacation looking like I had a stroke with a droopy, ugly eyelid. It almost seemed like both women were happy that I had such bad results. I didn't notice behind me that they provide slides to wear after you take off your shoes. There was no staff downstairs so no one to greet me or give instructions. There was a sign that said they were short staffed and to help yourself. It was the day before Christmas Eve. Really pretty inside and welcoming. Lots of areas to look at product. There was a coffee machine. Old historical charm throughout! The other client got brought back and I just was standing around. I finally heard someone in the foyer area and was checked in at that point and brought back to a large room for my eyebrow appointment. We spoke a bit about eyebrow shape and how she likes to keep things natural/follow your natural shape. Can always take off more later if I wanted. I think my eye wax was all of five minutes. Trimming, a few strips of waxing, and then tweezing and that's it. Let me have a look in the mirror and I was happy for the most part. I should've asked to trim my eyebrows a little more. But overall content with the shape. I wish there was something to put on my skin afterwards to calm it down since I get red easily. Again, the whole process was super quick, didn't feel overly personalized with an eye brow shaping/waxing but the job got done. The staff who did my brows was very nice and we made conversation throughout my service. I felt comfortable and no pain with the waxing/tweezing. Afterwards, she checked me out and you can give a tip on a card. $20 is a fair price for an eyebrow wax, what I was paying for at another place in the area.

My esthetician was Donna, and she used a strip wax for my underarms. Most estheticians don't do this, as underarms are sensitive and a hard wax is much better. The technique was not good. She applied a very thin layer of wax, and there was a lot of leftover hair as well (see my photos). This resulted in her having to go over the same areas again, resulting in the irritation. I thought the facial was just mid - there could have been better attention to detail. Slower strokes, more relaxing and intentional, would have made it a better facial. After my services, I brought everything to attention of another employee, Wafa. First she said "My boss would be happy to refund you". And then it changed to "My boss did not approve the refund". I was offered the chance to come back in so they could re-do it, but I declined. I was told the owner, Rose, would be reaching out to me, and she never did. As a first-time customer, if you don't provide a good first experience initially, I am not going to return. Beyond this, everyone was at least friendly. It's too bad it wasn't a good fit.
