Highly disappointed came in for a cut, barber did not know what he was doing, and started asking for help. I don't mind being patient, but I honestly seemed like a burden when I went back the next day (today) and asked to get it fixed. I shouldn't have to worry if my barber knows how to cut hair or not. I'm always hesitant and nervous when it comes to finding new barbers. I called in yesterday to make an appointment, and scheduled a haircut with Ray. The barbershop was hella chill and everyone seemed nice. I got a mid bald fade with a little bit of length cut from the top for my combover. Once I saw the final result, I was extremely happy with how it looked! I like how the left side was short as it went around. Now I don't have to worry about my cowlick sticking out and having to fix down the left side. It wasn't the previous barber's faults for that part since I've always had it that way and I'd just fix it down. I highly recommend this place. read more

If it's your first time you better hope you get stuck with a good barber. Unfortunately for me, I did not. Took an hour and a half to get a cut. That didn't even come out clean. Before coming here, I had been going to the same beautician for a while. While she was awesome with blending my hair and providing a very high level of customer service, there was always something left to be desired. So my journey to find an awesome barbershop began. After going to somewhere in the neighborhood of 6-8 places over the years I finally landed on this place. The reviews were great, the proximity was fairly close to my place and the pictures of their haircuts really pulled me in. When walking in that first time, I felt a little bit out of place but soon after I got to know my barber Cheroq, all was good. He takes his time, gives you his 100% undivided attention and pays attention to the details which makes all the difference. The shop is clean, next to nothing is out of place and of course the TV is regularly showing ESPN for patrons. The crew typically offers a drink to me and my son loves that they always have lollipops ready for when they finish his cut. I've seen them do fades with hard parts like mine, stylized fades and even box top cuts. These guys are all very skilled so drop in and expect to be there an hour if you schedule an appointment or longer without one. As a final note, they do straight razor shaves too! read more

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!! We have a regular barber but my son needed a last minute cut SPECIFICALLY for a retake of pictures. I needed a barber who was available on Sundays. The site listed Choppa Jones as 'Highly Recommended', he had five stars, AND had an available time slot that fit perfectly into my schedule so I booked an appointment. My son and I arrived at the shop only to find no barber. Someone inside the shop informed me that Choppa, Felix, Jones typically didn't work on Sundays. I explained to her that I had a confirmed appointment, per Booksi, with him to which she replied something to the effect of, 'Oh ok if you have a confirmed appointment then I'm sure he'll be here.' He NEVER showed up! Instead I received a phone call from him first saying that someone from the shop told him I had an appointment and asking how I booked. When I told him I booked through Booksy and I had a confirmed appointment he began exlaining that he didn't get a notification of an appointment and that in fact he has had several conversations with Booksy about removing Sundays and Mondays from his availability... Sir what? I have a hard time believing that because HE CALLED ME! The only way he could have obtained my number was from Booksy. If indeed he did not receive a notification the fact that he was able to obtain my phone number means he has a way of checking appointments. Felix, if you ARE truly waiting on Booksy to update your schedule on their end then you have an obligation to check your books FREQUENTLY for any appointments you won't be able to keep. My time was grossly wasted today very unnecessarily. Do better! Your customer service skills should tell you that If you know you don't cut on Sundays AND you KNOW Booksy has you as available on Sundays then (FREQUENTLY) check your appointments for those times and let people know IN ADVANCE so they have time to find someone who does actually fit their needs. read more

E were welcomed in like we had been coming for years. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. My haircut was exact and my son is really picky about his cut. He was completely happy with his. I called and got a same day appointment with Ray for my beard. He met me at the door, did a quick temp scan and I used the sanitizer. He cut my out of control beard down to a sharp, presentable look. After recently retiring and being able to let my hair down I had to start looking at a local place to get my haircut. After several months of looking at reviews and contemplating who to go to I decided on this barbershop, I am glad that I did. I was greeted promptly upon entering the shop and directed to James for a cut, after a brief discussion and explanation of what I was thinking he went to work. I've been here 4 times now and it's worthy of review. I've never given much thought to who was cutting my hair or how until it was time to get some mohawks for my sons. This place was close and had good reviews. The boys came out looking great. DeJuan specifically spent an hour on getting my 3 yr old cleaned up. When i saw that i had to give it a try. Anybody putting that much effort into a little boy has passion for what he's doing and after two trips with him, it's evident every time. I get compliments now about my haircut and that's never happened until the last 6 weeks. The place is cozy amd fun, everybody cutting up and having a good time.
