Chris outfitted somewhere around 9 of my guitars with his custom hand wound pickups and they all sound incredible. The hand made wood covers are just icing on the cake. These guitars have been around the world and in a lot of different studios and they always sound great- live and in studio. The set ups are perfect. He even did a super custom job moving a strap peg to the horn of my favorite semi hollow body. And just to boot: he's an awesome guy. Chris turned my cheap crappy Mustang into a badass unique custom! Added a new bridge with tremolo and his hand made pickups. One P90 and a reverse wound single coil. Attached you will find photos of the guitar Mr. Seyler built for me to my exact specifications. Expertly. This is a double-neck 28 1/2" baritone with a custom wide nut width over a 30" bass with the same nut proportions of my beloved G&L L1000. I have big hands and I wanted a beefy neck, or two. This was delivered in Maple and Ebony with the Monty Python Fart-Tuba inlay on the 12th fret of both necks. Beautiful. The body is Honduran Mahogany with Cocobolo and Chechen Burl. The pickups are custom built, by hand. The control scheme was precisely what I asked for, only better. This took over a year to build and was definitely expensive. I regret NOTHING. Every penny was worth it. Chris said that he didn't have any reviews on Yelp because of his consistent 5 star rating. Yelp assumes this is some kind of scam, apparently. They have all been deleted. Well I will write this review as many times as I have to. It's no scam; just premium craftsmanship from one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to have a completely insane project with. read more
