Although Stillman occasionally required follow-up and proactive communication on my end, their agents appeared to be managing a substantial workload, and obtaining multiple quotes for contractors felt like standard practice in the world of property management. In hindsight, these issues seem typical rather than negligent. Stillman was my first experience with a managing company, and I now believe my initial judgment may have been overly harsh. Our new management company has demonstrated behavior that was not only unprofessional, but retaliatory after I shared an honest review of their services. They took forever to respond and we're completely unprofessional. This place was on the market for 3 months before renting and it's clear why. It's overpriced and under managed. We've been living it in for months and always have an open maintenance ticket from leaks to bugs to broken appliances.

They are always defensive because they do not maintain the properties. We had a huge unexplained overage on a large construction project that the owners had to pay. Nardo didn't seem competent to work with us on such a big project and our Board didn't have the expertise either. Lost common charges checks routinely. When question about balances due, I know several owners that said Nardo insisted they hadn't received payments and had to retract their allegation when the tenant provide proof of all payments. Sounds pretty shady! Who needs that stress and work in their life!! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. They are unresponsive, make you regret living where they manage the property, and you will always question whether they stole money from the HOA or not.
