This is a review for this specific location but also many other csl centers throughout the city. This North Loop location, I don't know who is more ghetto the kids and geriatrics they have working there or the tweekers who frequent this location. Every single one of those workers has the qualifications of a McDonald's server or Walmart greeter and the customer service skills of a cop. They must have an astronomical turnover rate because there is always some inexperienced child or incompetent elderly new hire working there, all with the shittiest attitudes. If you ask them a question they don't know, they will just casually lie and make things up, about medical information. Everyone there has the worst work ethic and acts like you are bothering them, when their company is making like $400+ a donation. I once sat waiting to be disconnected from the plasma machine after it was done and had to wait TWENTY minutes. Once, when I asked for a band aid, they just threw it at me. They also play loud annoying music like if it is a club because no one there takes their job seriously. On numerous occasions the workers were singing and dancing like school girls as they were taking my vitals. Grifols is right next door and I would highly recommend them over CSL. Grifols gives better sign up promotions but also pays you a lot more daily for your donation. Every CSL center I have been to I have had very similar experiences, there is ZERO quality control individually at branches or across the city. And there are always low qualified idiots with shit attitude who will lie about anything to just get you moving along. I have donated plasma at two centers in Texas and out of the two, CSL plasma had more in depth examination and efficient process. Staff is professional and quick, and will be checking up on you as a new donor. However very busy at times. read more

Let me start of by saying that i have donated plasma many many times however it has always been through the Red cross at Fort Bliss ( army ) . I decided to go to CSL plasma since the army is renovating their donation center and I will never go back to this place because they almost killed me ( im in the hospital as we speak) . I went 4 times this being the 4th and final time i will ever go to this place and every single time their process has taken 2 hours when it should only take 35 minutes maybe 40 minutes . I have massive veins and the 2nd and 3rd time i went the person was fishing for my vein and made it extremely painful. fast forward to 45 minutes ago 2 hours go by and i start feeling extremely dizzy and ready to throw up and extremely cold i raised my hand and told the lady to unplug me from the machine . She gave me this crazy stare and told me i was almost done however i told her to unplug me now . she said to wait a second and went to help some one else out when all she had to do was unplug me , my hands then clamp up like T-rex arms and my hands go into a fist and i cant open them . the lady resorts to grabbing a folder and fanning me when i told her to unplug me . once she unplugs me she says its my fault for not drinking fluids and at that point i get my stuff and GTFO they did not try to render help or anything as im driving back to Fort Bliss ( im a soldier ) i almost crash my car because i almost passed out while driving . once i make it to Fort Bliss i go to the hospital on base and thats where im currently at . I got to the donation center and seated about 40 minutes before a ton of people however they where all finishing up before me , Im not sure if the settings on the machine where put in so that it would take very long or if the machine was faulty but this happened the 4 times i donated at this place , If your not Mexican/ Hispanic they might treat you different. hirrible service the people in the front make little to no eye contact nearly a hi or anything the man handle you poke the heck out of your tounge when taking temp and int he back they cant stuck you to save their lives they miss they leave bruises they dont care if youre in pain i had to ask three time for the donation to stop before they finally listned and realize they infiltrated my vain. horrible horrible read more
