Well today was a different experience. My heart was a little high because I had just come from working. The associate asked me to go sit down for 5 mins. I did and she called me back. When I came back she said they deferred me until tomorrow. Now I'm sure is her world that totally fine. Not sure what happened to cause that. Maybe the fact she had already entered my blood test numbers, she couldn't tell me but I have a feeling it was something she did and didn't want to own up to it. But anywho because of this I will be homeless tonight with me and my dog and I don't have food. And that's no one's fault but mine. I just wished the associated cared a little more. It's really hot and I'm not looking forward to losing my hotel for the night but there's nothing else I can do. read more

Maybe more than a few months of l phlebotomy school would be nice. First two times were ok. Then one lady poked me wrong and my blood squirted out. Then I the next time I got a hematoma and then once again this last time on August 28th I got another hematoma. They tried to say it was my fault because of my tattoo placements and also because I "moved my arm" . Hematomas only occur when they try to poke a vein that isn't visible. First visit I was there 3 hours, completing all the health information & donating. I had no problems & received $100. The second visit was awful! The nurse was unsure of where to stick my arm, but got me hooked up anyway. After 10 minutes, a nurse ran over & stopped the process. Wrapped my arm up & said I was losing cells. She then showed me a bag of blood, maybe a pint or more, and told me I lost that much blood & threw it in the trash. I only received $75, so I lost $25, due to their mistake. It's much better than it used to be. The newer management has made strides to better the conditions. There are still a few employees that need to be put out to pasture, but I can't really complain otherwise. A 15-20 minute wait in line for the donor floor isn't bad (considering I've been there when the wait was almost 5 hours). Some of the phlebotomists such as Gloria, Hetturah, and Jenny are efficient, extremely friendly, and outgoing. We seriously need ALL of the staff to be this way. When that day comes, this branch will warrant a 5-star rating. read more

This business location is understaffed. The management team here is non existent unless there is an emergency, then they disappear quickly after. Often equipment or management is not here extending the start time posted, sometimes 3-4 hours. They run out of fast-passes frequently due to issues at the facility. This location needs to be extensively audited by corporate. read more

Oh yeah onsite management is absolutely ridiculous rude , incompetent and generally discriminatory , I tried to update my address and no matter what proof of residence I had it wasn't good enough up to and including a federal government form with my address on it it was clearly evident to me that I was the wrong racial demographic ( I'm indigenous ) or I'm not from one of the several homeless shelters within walking distance to them , never again in my life will I donate there again I've have never been treated so badly by uneducated people the Gainesville location should be audited and management fired immediately read more

Great employees at reception area, donor floor, and nurses. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. The top manager is why I give it 2 stars instead of 4 very unprofessional, unfriendly, keeps moral down among her employees, and have seen her several times have verbal arguments with other donors. The place is extremely dirty, and blood stains on the walls and cabinets. No matter how much the chairs are cleaned, they remain stained and dirty. read more

terrible bedside manner. I went in today, and a girl looked at my arm, barely tapped it left didn't tell me she was leaving grab somebody else they both came in looked at me, whispered and sent another girl over to tell me I was being deferred that I would get an inconvenience fee did not tell me why did not tell me what happened just asked me to leave absolutely no bedside manner. I'm one of the few that don't care about the pay. I just want to do it to help other people I don't give two flips for this deferral Payment. All I wanted was to help somebody and donate my plasma. The website says that you must provide a PHOTO ID... The examples given are a drivers license, milatary ID etc..... However, I don't know what the "etc" includes because my GOVERNMENT ISSUED PASSPORT was REJECTED as a form of a "picture ID"‼ I am out of work, on a medical leave of absence, but I still have a NEED for some form of CASH to survive...... Super cheap payments whenever you can go thirty minutes down the road for 100.00 more than what they give you And their excuse is that the Gainesville location is located in a poor area... On top of that, they say they are closing at a certain time and then they take their phone off of the hook and lock the door 15-20 mins before closing time so no one else can come in. also, not professional whatsoever. read more

Don't donate here the cards never taken in just about anywhere you want to use it even if you have money on it. It's still declined. Place is pretty much a joke they close randomly due to staffing issues. Definitely not worth it I've been here for a while and I've decided that I'm done with them. read more

They apparently can't even have the computers working to login when already open later than usual. Turn over rate is high with staff so most staff you meet is relatively new or telling you they are leaving for better pay so they are over the place at this point or are very slow from lack of experience. read more

I get it, waiting 2 1/2 - 3 hours yr first visit not a big deal I understand. Now I'm here for my second visit got here before 2:30 didn't get to the back till 3 now I've been laying in this bed for an hour. An HOUR! Laying in this bed. I could understand that if these people back here were working. Only one person in hooking people up(doing one person every 20 minutes or so) they rest aren't doing anything. Now by the time they hook me up I'd be here longer than I was the first time, which according to the people that work here that I first met the first time this shouldn't happen. (Here for a total of just over three hours no physical nothing that should take more time) Why? Is this really worth the money??? read more

Great phlebotomy team, they are very attentive to your needs and the other staff were just as kind! If you're a first time donor expert to cut 2-3 hours out of your day to get established as a new pt. Donation time depends on your body but it took myself 45 mins! The moneys nice plus the app tells you how many people your plasma helps! read more
