Have always been pleased with Braselton Urgent Care. You can get in quickly and be taken care of right away. Everyone in the office is very nice including the nurse practitioner and the nurse. The only problem I have is even if you have insurance coverage for x-rays they charge you $50 They don't file your x-ray which is insane if you have insurance. they were going to charge me for 2 foot x-rays one ankle 1 foot and charge me $100 for two x-rays. I've never heard of such a thing I went to the orthopedist and they just billed it to my insurance. They need to change this or people won't be going there for x-rays unless that's what they want. read more

Braselton urgent Care is my new go to for when I need to be seen in a timely manner. They got me in very quickly received awesome care. All the staff members are very kind and seem to care about their patients. The facility was very clean which made me feel safe. I had severe back and groin pain for 2 weeks and after taking 4advil and 2 Tylenol, and the pain not letting up my husband drove me to this urgent care. Very new and efficient urgent care I had ever been. They took my info vid a texted link. I was seen in about 5 mins, amd the dr or PA soon came to my room. They did a urine and blood work. They had the results in 5 mins. Super quick. After my blood snd urine was good they gave me a shot of steroids and ibuprofen and a prescription for mousse relaxant. I was in and out in about an hour. This place is brand new, nurses very nice snd a really good dr or PA. I will recommend this place to anyone needing an urgent care near here. I gave them 4 stars because the prescription did not get emailed to the store I requested. read more

Jennifer, the nurse practitioner, is always so, so kind, and every staff member goes out of their way to make me feel thoroughly cared for and heard. J. Caleb Henson is, unfortunately, probably the rudest medical personnel I have ever dealt with. He had the gumption to pronounce my friend with COVID before they even tested them. They signed up for a rapid test and then once they got there, Henson said that they weren't going to do a rapid test because it was too "inaccurate". False advertising and horrible customer service. If you want to go to a doctor, this is not the place to go. There's plenty of better options nearby. I do hope they clear up these issues, the medical field is not the place for them. read more

I have had to be COVID tested three times for various reasons and chose to come here. First, let me start out by saying that Caleb, and the rest of the staff here are angels and saints. I chose to come here based off the quality of care I've received in the past for regular sick visits. Each time I went, they were busy. really busy. However, I did what the front desk told me --- listening to their direction was important!! I was seen in a timely manner each time. Once I was called back, I was in and out in about 10 minutes. I was so grateful they were willing to see me 1. in the same day and 2. without being symptomatic. They explained that it could take up to 5 days for my results, but each time I got them in 2 days! This was important to me so I could continue working! I trust Caleb and the rest of the providers and staff here when I need general urgent care services outside of covid. I have been so thankful that they are here during these crazy, stressful times! read more

Nice place but customer service is really lacking. They have implemented a new registration system to help with wait times but of no use. Took my father who is 85 and mother who is 70 for a COVID test at 230pm and didn't get in until 400-415pm. Shouldn't schedule if they can't keep up. Once in, doc was great with my parents! Staff was nice as well. Only draw back is wait time! read more

I came in to get a couple things taken care of, 1st time coming to that place. Absolutely the worst experience ever. 5 times i spelled my last name, it was only 3 letters, then the desk jockey decides to tell me to complete the registration online via the phone, she provided a wifi and password, which did not work. i tried several times to upload various document, then i just decided i have had enough of this laziness in action. This was by far the worst of the worst, i would certainly tell everyone to avoid at all cost....they should be shut down, and done away with. read more

I had to get a COVID re-test & I am so thankful I went to BUC! The nurse, Renee, was incredible and made me feel so comfortable. The NP, Melissa, was incredible! The whole experience was awesome. If I could rate zero stars I would, I have never been in an office so disorganized. I bet the lady at the front desk will see this review before I get seen by a doctor. This urgent care facility is clean and the doctors and nurses were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. We were here from out of town and they were truly as personal, if not more personal, than my regular doctor at home. They listened and responded with various testing methods to figure out what was happening. I was a hard case and the doctor was helped to bring relief and even administered an IV and proper medicine to bring relief. I cannot say enough good about the care I received today. read more

My issue with this outfit is not with the care that was provided, but rather w shady billing practices. I am a PA and have worked 5yrs in primary care recently, doing all my own billing so I am familiar with what billing code a given visit would constitute. I am a young, healthy man w no health issues. I presented w the sole complaint of hearing loss in one ear which I knew was from impacted wax. The visit w the PA was approx 2min, the Med tech rinsed my ear and that was that - I was satisfied. 2wks later my bill was $346, of which I was responsible for over $200 (with good, employer provided insurance). The primary charge was for a 99204 visit, which is a "new patient visit with a high degree of medical complexity and decision making". The billing code was fraudulent, that degree of service was simply not provided. Furthermore their charge for a 99204 visit is close to double what is charged elsewhere (~$170) and what we charged at my practice, I suspect they are incentivized for aggressive billing practices. When I presented this information to their billing manager they did not adjust the code, but rather knocked off $60 to avoid conflict I presume. This visit should have cost $50 MAX, even for a new patient. This is the type of policy and practice that breeds mistrust from the public. I won't be going back and I encourage the reader to look elsewhere for their urgent/primary care needs as well. I might suggest my old practice, North Atlanta Primary Care. read more

I am not pleased with Braselton Urgent Care, I took my son last Sunday because he was running high fever and had very sore throat, they did a strep test which came back negative and did a covid test, we asked for antibiotics and they said he probably had COVID and did not want to prescribe antibiotics because he is young and healthy and the antibiotics would escalate COVID if he was positive....test results came back next day that he was not positive, I called and told them he was worse and his throat was so bad he could hardly eat and if they could please call an antibiotic in for him, first they say the PA that treated him is not here today...ok can you ask the doctor that is there if he can read his chart and call something in....put on hold....then asked is he having difficulty breathing....no it is his throat and still running high fever, I say possibly the strep test was a false negative...put on hold again and then told if you want to come back and be re-evaluated they could possibly call something in, mind you it hadn't even been 24 hours. Needless to say I was not going to pay another $75 co-pay when they just saw him. I ended up taking him to our primary doctor Tuesday and he had strep throat, by then it had festered and his mouth has ulcers and his gums are swollen. It is now Friday and he is on a 2nd antibiotic to fight this strep. All Braselton Urgent Care had to do was call in an antibiotic. I think it is all about the co-pays and money they get not the welfare of the patients. read more
