They pricked my finger it was good. Michael's heart rate was high so they did the same with him. Baileys hemoglobin was too low so she wasn't allowed to donate today. In my prior location I never had any issues with the American Red Cross. I wish they had a presence in the Greenville area.

A woman that was constantly complaining about how much she hated her job there was the person that prepped me for donation with the needle and it was apparently placed incorrectly because it was incredibly painful and uncomfortable during my entire donation process. My arm bruised very badly and it felt sore for over a week. For some reason I was still able to keep donating a couple more times until my bruising faded, then a few staff members acted like it was a problem because a light brown discoloration appeared on my arm at my injection site. I thought it was my fault for a while because I left a band aid on for too long but come to find out, I ended up getting Hemosiderin Staining as a result. It isn't that bad but now I feel like a laser treatment or just covering it up with another tattoo are some options to erase this minor flaw caused by negligence. I should've just walked out instead of let an unhappy employee touch me. Aside from all this, there were more good employees than bad, there and because of that, I didn't leave a 1 star rating.

So I do that and go through the whole paperwork process, now 2 hours past my appointment, I get my blood drawn with a finger poke. I was ignored by the staff when I was asking questions. So after two hours of doing paperwork, I then have to do this 75 question screening. I was discriminated against because I am a recovering addict, the medicines I take, and the fact I had seizures before that I truthfully answered in the 75 questions. So if you want to get paid and to donate, you have to lie on everything. The physical examination literally was just to tell me I have to get off all my meds to be able to donate. I was then basically kicked out because of my health conditions that after researching are not disqualifying factors. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! Demand your information to be removed if turned down.
