I've been going to this CSL Plasma location for almost a year now. The facility itself is always clean, the staff is professional yet friendly, and everybody is taken terrific care as quickly as possible wth each visit. Finally?? The donation stations themselves are very comfortable-- since the process takes roughly an hour or so you can relax and catch up on your emails, watch a TV show, movie or listen to music etc. through your phone/ laptop. Not a bad way to earn a few extra bucks!! Go ahead and give it a try. Tip: Drink plenty of water and have a good meal before you donate and it'll make the process go more quickly. read more

Unhelpful staff, very demanding, and extremely long wait times. I am a very physically fit person who exercises regularly, eats well, and gets plenty of rest. I start everyday with a protein shake. They informed me that I had not eaten enough and that I am required to eat a meal before I donate. I have been donating at a different service provider for 3 years without complications. I just moved recently and thought I would try this place out. Do not go here!!!! read more

This plasma center is not the move. Not only did they take 4 months initially for the Dr. to clear me after an allergy was put in wrong, but also an RN broke HIPPA while discussing a false positive on a test result with a family member while the exam room door was OPEN and people were waiting to be seen. I expressed that I wanted to talk to the manager and she never came up from the back to talk to me. Instead, I had to talk to someone else who was looking into what I needed to do moving forward. The response was "I'll talk to her". As a healthcare professional myself, I was furious. I have NEVER felt my privacy so violated- I was literally dumb founded that this was even happening. ABSOLUTELY do not recommend going here- please pleaseeeee pick a different place to donate! read more

Here at csl they stand around while there's a line and actually wait for someone else jump in to do the intake. 2. They take there time getting you out of there. 3. There's an asian female about mid 20s that really needs to lean how to stick the needle in you arm with out it feeling like your being jabed with a spike. They love there excuses to ( defer ) you... They should easily pay more at all donation places... Some days it's just not worth it... Use caution. I have mentioned many times about the glare of the lights above the computer screens on the screens making it hard to see the questions on them. Use caution when going here...! read more

Olena is a great tech there! She is so professional and knowledgeable! Most of the staff there are friendly and try to get everyone in and out ASAP! There's a lot of customer intake so there's a wait but they are diligent at getting everyone accommodated! read more

Although friendly they are awful! I have wasted my gas trying to do a good thing several times I've been told to go to 2 hour signing up, physical, and questions several times. They don't know what they're doing. read more

They told me I have hepatitis when my Dr. told me I don't. So I'm banned for no reason. Don't come to this place it's way cleaner and nicer at Biolife in Tukwila and they pay more. Staff are clueless at this location and the quality of service is horrible. read more

They permanently deferred me this week for getting psychiatric help at a hospital last summer in 2022. I don't know how getting help when needed has anything to do with donating plasma. I am very healthy and not even on meds.Would not recommend if you want to go to a place that is fair and doesn't discriminate against mental health. Supposed to donate to save lives, but apparently if you seek mental help when you think you need it, your plasma is somehow not good anymore?? That was the only reason, literally. By disclosing that information, I was deferred permanently. Can't go back. That is prejudice against the mental health crisis in America and people in general. read more

They are fast and efficient. Pay is accurate and available right away. I don't mind giving her at all.

If the system isn't crashing for any number of reasons. And if all the staff is actually working, this place is awesome and runs smooth. But more and more lately they seem under staffed and the lines and wait times can take longer than your donation. It's just not worth it to literally kill your phones battery just waiting to donate. They should either up their donation compensation or incentivize their workforce to have more on hand each day. One way or the other it's pretty ridiculous. read more

I have been here 3 times now and I have been treated so well every time. The staff is so friendly, they smile and make good eye contact and ask about your day. I have always felt like a person there and not just a "means to an end". They are much more personable than nursing staff at a normal doctor office. The facility feels clean and well maintained. There are longer wait times if you go after 4pm, so try to come earlier! read more

Would like to take the time and say that I've been donating to CSL for years, been to multiple locations, and I really love that you get paid reasonably for donating plasma to those in need. What I really DON'T love, is the fact that this location is more concerned about flirting with people than doing their job. They're more concerned with what radio station they're playing at triage. More concerned about what everyone did over the weekend and what employees they dislike and like most. This is so unprofessional. Sure, this isn't a 4 Seasons or some high class place, but seriously? Pay attention to your job. Some of the phlebotomists that I've encountered are AMAZING and have never had issues with poking me during the donation, especially Blue. Always such an amazing human being. However, I've had multiple referrals tell me that they punctured veins, waited for 2 hours or more.. which that last part, is understandable. The first IS NOT. UPDATE: I just got done in triage and all I could hear about is how difficult the lady before me was. Please hire more mature people, not high schoolers who incessantly complain IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS about the customers and how "awful" their job is. read more

It took me a few times to realize that when you are done, you are supposed to raise your hand. So on Sunday, I was done donating and raised my hand. The girl saw me and was helping another donor, so I put my hand down as she finished with him. Another donor was struggling and sick from the poke, so she fished with the man and went to help the sick woman. The employee is a newer girl and asked another employee for help. The second employee, with no name tag but had black hair with some green in it, walked to the sick woman and was rude to her. Then the employee with the green hair decided she would finish up unhooking the people that were done. She walked passed me to another donor, and I raised my hand again, figuring she didn't notice mine was done. She yelled at me for having my hand up and proceeded to help three other donors, who I watched their machines stop as she walked by me. She finally came to me and was very rude and even wrapped my arm so tight I couldn't feel my arm. Everyone who works there has been so lovely. I didn't understand why she was so rude to the poor woman who was having a lousy time donating and me. It makes me not want to go back there because I feel like she would poke people, causing bruises and overheating just because she is having a bad day and taking it out on us. read more

Horrible place! I got here 30 minutes before they close, doors are locked with people in line inside. Security tells me the manager had a personal matter come up so to close the doors early. They've closed before without notice for snow too. They're slow, and don't care about their donors at all. A day later a "manager" Eric calls me, to follow up on my complaint and says "I'm just calling because we have to if someone files a complaint" .... "something came up, and I bet if you were at work and a personal matter came up you'd leave work early too"... "I won't compensate you because then I'd have to compensate everyone we locked out early". Any major national company in the US takes care of its customers- you get cold food or a bug in it, they take it off the check, plus a discount... you get a dirty hotel room, a broken A/C they put you in another room, throw in a gift card, something. Now I can compare my experience of donating plasma at the two competing Seattle area donation centers: this one and Biomat/Grifols in Ballard. Pluses: this facility is newer, cleaner and more spacious than Biomat's facility. Minuses: 1) getting registered as a new donor is a hit and miss. I was told on the phone "we don't make appointments, you can register any time when we are open for business". Then, when I showed up on a Sunday around noon "I am sorry, we are not taking new donors today, there is no medical staff present". I had to come back next Saturday to register. 2) They compensate you on a prepaid Visa card, and the card is quite bad. There is fee for using the card at checkout ($0.50 for a PIN transaction, $0.25 for a signature transaction). You get only one free point-of-sale transaction per donation. Fee for using the card at an ATM is always $1.50. This is especially puzzling because Grifols gives the card from the same bank (Citibank), and it has no fees, and allows to transfer funds to your checking account using the web site. read more
