I had quality classes and great professors. I learned so much about the field I work in now. The university has so many amenities. Nap pods, computer lab access, gym access, library access, and so much more. There was also a lot of opportunities to get involved with organizations, clubs, etc. being involved enhanced my undergraduate experience. Parking was terrible and passes were pricey.

Even though it was "strange," it was actually pretty good. On the other hand, the Master's in Screenwriting was just awful. It was a terrible experience, with bad and unprepared professors, an all-white faculty with zero diversity, and a department chair (Mr. Jared Rappaport) who seemed completely lost and had no idea what he was doing. The entire body of professors was terrible--aggressions and lies everywhere. I had two classes that were repetitions of courses I had already taken as an undergraduate, even with the same professors. Additionally, during my thesis examination, one of the three professors who were supposed to give me feedback did not read my script. As a result, I only received two sets of feedback instead of three. Beyond that, my experience with the credentialing program at CSUN, under the Michael Eisner School, was equally disappointing. The lack of commitment, disorganization, and unprofessional behavior throughout the process was unacceptable. Communication was poor, requirements shifted without clear guidance, and there was little accountability. It is a terrible place to pursue studies if you expect seriousness, professionalism, or institutional support. In summary, I paid for a Master's degree that honestly taught me very little. I learned far more in the screenwriting courses I took at Los Angeles Valley College than in the CSUN Master's program. And if you are thinking about "networking," forget it. The network you can get from that institution is honestly BS. I do not recommend that program. Look for a more serious institution if you want to learn and feel genuinely appreciated. Do not pursue the Master's in Screenwriting at CSUN.

I graduated from the Computer Science undergrad program in May 2014. It's not the best computer…read morescience program or the worst so it's somewhere in the middle. There are good professors and really bad professors but you just have to do the best to pass. Just getting a bachelor degree doesnt necessary mean it will land you a job, you need to write a good resume and then know how to properly present yourself if you get a interview. Some professors are willing to help you during their office hours and some are not. Just know that it takes time and dedication to graduate from this department. Once you get to the upper division classes, tutoring isn't much help so you'll have to make friends and study group.

Earned an engineering degree from here in 2016. This college is more than frustrating and full of…read moreidiots who run it, I shall explain. First they LOVE oil money. And that oil money is ripe with cheating rings. So bad that professors were "trying to crack down" on it the yr I graduated. HAHA don't make me laugh! SECOND they admitted more students than they have classes at their level for and yet claim they can't afford to open more classes. They straight up cancel classes after the semester starts because they can't find enough teachers for them. What?? ..yeah, they will happily screw you over when you think you have your semester all set up. THIRD for AM 317 the mechanical and very dangerous machines hadn't been calibrated since the 80's, 3 of the 13 lab machine actually worked. The department refused to upgrade the lab while they upgraded the computers in the computer room that didn't need upgrading. The school has gotten so bad my husband has had professors that talk down about the school... I also feel like a lot of the professors were awful! Domborian who had been written up and complained about by female students for years for harrasment and insult still has his job. No professor should be allowed to call student "baby", and be sexist in other ways. The school refuses to do anything about this professor and the department chair ignores the complaints. I was told by a female professor that my complaints toward him would go nowhere that it wasn't worth my time. The school doesn't care. After I graduated many of the society of women engineer students banded together to create a mass group of complaints to try and and spark a long overdue investigation. Guess what didn't happen! And because I was graduated they wouldn't take my statement even though it was valid. I'm grateful my degree got me a great job. But the school has lost track of priorities. The professors are worried they are going to loose their engineering accreditation!

Is simple and easy to find all your resources here, the first floor houses all your new admission…read moreschool needs such as financial aid and admission records. The floor also has computer that you may use for your financial aid purposes. The lines can get pretty hectic here but every school I have been to has the same problem so I wont complain much about it. They are usually pretty quick or try to be at least. The second floor is my favorite floor, it houses certain club resources such as sports clubs and The Trio/Eop office. I spent most of my time at the Trio office is a great program that assists student with tutoring and advisement. It also takes field trips to grad schools for those interested. I highly recommend applying to get into the program is worth it, they have computers you can use to do your homework or just browse around. Beats going to the library trust me. As for the other remaining floors, I've never step foot in them as of yet but when I do I will update this review.

This is where it all happens, and if you're still a student, this is where financial aide, photos, payments and other student related needs are met at this one-stop shop building. I don;t quite remember this building when going here, so I suspect it's a new building, or at least refurbished. Being summer, there was not much of a student population when I had my transcripts sent, but I could imagine September will be drama filled, as students via for classes and the ever so needed financial aide. Located at the northwest corner of the campus, parking for one hour can be had for two dollars, right behind the parking information center. Easy-peezy.
