I had an excellent experience taking my CSET subject exams here. But I am a dog lover, so there's that. The people who run the testing center are exceptionally nice and flexible. I was able to take bathroom breaks between sessions, and it was one of the most relaxed test settings (while still adhering to all rules). The two dogs (Zeus and Zoe) are therapy dogs, incredibly mellow and gentle, as many of the people who use the center have special needs -- from what I understand the center helps place them with training and jobs. They started that aspect of the business because of their son, who is developmentally disabled (the dogs are his). Downside: parking is awful and public transit is nonexistent from my neighborhood, so I had to Lyft. read more

Staff is incompetent. They explain the same thing 3-4 times. There are not enough chairs or room for those waiting. It took me an hour from arrival to start taking my test. They keep all the snacks and water scattered around the office. There is no clear break area. It's too cramped overall. The building expects you to pay $24 to park. These are students. It's already $200 to take the test. They tell you the secret is to go buy a water at the movie theater to get validation. How unethical!!!! Also the movie theater only validated 4 hours so it's worthless when you spend 5 hours at the facility because they were so unorganized and took so long to get going. The staff were fighting because one staff member refused to put his phone on silent in a testing facility. Seriously. At the end of my test, they started soliciting for yelp reviews. So here it is. Came here to take my GRE and the employees here are incompetent. Woman checking ID's took 10 minutes per person, typed with one finger per hand, was busy calling an Uber and texting, and it didn't help that her program crashed twice. During the exam they administer "sound cancelling" headphones but towards the end as more people left, the employees thought it was okay to start talking while we were taking the exam. I know I'm paying 200$ for a test - not to have a good time, but expect the services for test taking to be better than this. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The test center is in poor conditions, the way they give tests is horrible. They pack many students into tiny room. You sign up for a test and they are late or do not show up and you have to keep rescheduling. I have also heard from friends who use their other services that the owners are crooks. Look at their facebook page, they take a lot of money and do nothing. Stay away and avoid! read more

CLEP testing, this was the only place on the Westside that conducted it. $55 for the test "admin" fee, plus another $22 to park. They don't offer validation. Totally unprofessional space. You go to take your test and you see a sign on the door, asking for quiet as people are testing. Good sign, right? No. It literally means nothing... While a dozen or so of us were taking computerized tests, CA certification and so forth, the administrators in the front room consistently were LOUD. I was wearing headphones and clearly heard the man -- his photo is above, dark hair, late 50s -- answering his loudly ringing phone and engage in a lengthy conversation. He repeated this unprofessionalism and disrespect several times as myself and others -- WHO WERE TESTING -- worked on shutting out his loud voice. UNbelievable. I told him that I could hear him through my headphones. He ignored my comment. You have been warned....unless you are a test taker who needs NOISE to concentrate, I would advise you to stay far away from this place. Totally inconsiderate people. Totally unprofessional space. The nicest testing center I've been to out of the three I've tested in. I took the bus since I didn't want to worry about parking. Getting dropped off would have been my second choice. I was checked in quickly, but there weren't many people when I arrived so I can't speak to what it would be like to have to wait. The lockers for your personal items are nice and clean but pack light because everything has to be put away. Office was quiet while I was there - there was a gentleman cleaning testing stations who was very respectful of people trying to concentrate. The bathroom is about 10 feet from the door so no wandering down long hallways while your test timer is running. I'll be back at this location for my next test. read more

I am a foreign student from Japan. So, I don't know the standard of American test center, but it is the worst test center in my life. 　At first, they didn't keep time. My TOEFL test was 1pm. And official document said we have to arrive at the venue 30 minute before and I reached the building address at 12:15. But the time I could arrive at the venue was over 1pm because we cannot take elevator by ourselves and we need to wait their staff at the entrance. 　The first staff appeared 1230 at the entrance but he went out for buying lunch and let 30 people stand on the floor for long time. I could not understand his behavior. But is it culture difference? For LA people, lunch is more important than their job? 　Anyway, the time I could sit on the test seat was around 2:15 because there was only 1 line to register students. And in the venue, I needed to wait over 1 hour. We need to wait with keeping stand or sit on the floor. There were 4 staff but except a staff who is in charge of register, other 3 staff was talking a lot. Some of them talked with test taker and they behaved like consultant of university. It seems it's good for some students but for me only thing I want them to do is operating the test smoothly. Their talking was just noisy. When I sat on the seat, I was already tired. 　In addition, the equipment was terrible. My seat was the joint of two desks and the height of desks are slightly different. It made me distracted well. Furthermore, the keyboard was super small. It was slightly bigger than 6 inch Subway sandwich. And the pencil tip was broken from the beginning. I could stand the desk and the keyboard, but I cannot forgive the pencil because it means they simply didn't make effort for providing comfortable atmosphere for test taker. 　Only good point of this test center is the location. If you have confidence of the test itself, this test center might be one of the best choice. But, it is not good for the student who want to get your best score. read more

HORRIBLE!!! Don't go this center!! I would like to give them zero If its possible!!! It was the first time I took the TOEFL. There were over 30 students in the same room and the center only separated each student by paper box. Everyone was seating so close to the others. There were approximately 10 students taking oral test which really disturbed me to do the listening. However, I've tried to increase the volume of the computer to the highest level, I was still unable to listen the content clearly. I would avoid taking your test at this testing center if at all possible. First, your parking options are awful. The street parking is all permit only and all of the surrounding lots are $25+. To park in the building's parking lot, I paid $26. My test was at 8:00 am and I arrived at the building around 7:30 am. They make everyone wait in the lobby. Then, they bring everyone up in groups of 5. Make sure you are in one of the earlier groups if possible. I will tell you why later. Then, one by one, they take your photo and make you speak into the microphone to verify your identity/whatever. But the woman's system kept crashing, which delayed the already very slow process even further. In order to speed up the process, they should have multiple staff members collecting this information. Luckily I was in the first group of five people let up. After this process was complete, they finally sat you down at your computer and you can begin the test. That means that the other groups of students are being brought up from the lobby to complete this process WHILE YOU ARE TAKING YOUR TEST. This is super distracting!!! They do provide earplugs and noise-cancelling headphones (I would doubt those are cleaned regularly), but I was still very distracted. This is why I would recommend being in the first or one of the first groups - at least you can start your test on time (since the other groups didn't all start until 8:15-45 am). Then, since everyone is at different points in the test, everyone takes their breaks at difference times - creating even more noise and distractions. The last thing I wanted to say is that the staff was pretty rude and unfriendly. I didn't feel like they did a good job of explaining the "rules" - I was unclear on when I was allowed to leave my seat to eat a snack or take a sip of water. Again, take your test elsewhere if you can!!! read more

I had not written test for several years so I was nervous especially since the test was required for my job. The team was extremely human which allowed me to calm and pass my exam. I also misplaced my watch during the exam process and the staff quickly resolved the situation. I am forever grateful to this team that supported me on my journey. I took toefl test in this place. First my toefl ticket said to be there at 7:30 am to start the test at 8 pm. I was there at 7:12 am. I waited more than stated an started test after 8 pm. I and other test takers waited entrace of the building by standing up or sitting on the floor. It was not comfortable. Even though all people were waiting for the toefl test the person who was owner of the test center asking for who came for toefl. He did not tell people to make a line. He took people randomly to elevator. And he was not kind. He ordered people " go back". I put my water and snacks into bag. I thought that i could take them during break. Unfortunately they did not let me take them. I should have left them outside the test center. But they did not inform me before test. Test center is not comfortable. Space is for one person not enough to use keyboard,mouse and papers. Furthermore keyboard is small and different than desktop or laptop, it was difficult to use in writing section. I wish I would have taken test an other place. read more

Wouldn't take another test here. After waiting for them to print my results (printer mishaps) I pulled my phone out to look at the scores. In that span of 60 seconds, the woman insisted that I leave saying that they close at 5:30 (it was only 4:15) There is a dog that runs from the front to the back where you're testing that startled me while trying to focus on my test and can be a little distracting since you're constantly seeing something approaching you. Typically, test centers have enclosed and uninterrupted test areas, I could also hear them talking and laughing upfront even with the earplugs in that they provided. I get that it's a family office or agency.. stating that somewhere would've been helpful when choosing where to take my test. read more

It's okay, the testing area isn't closed off so you can hear anything going on in the reception area. Might be a good idea to bring ear plugs. Staff was pleasant. You have to put your cellphone, bags, or whatever in a bag they hold onto before taking the test. Saw a sign that says parking is not validated. Computers are close together, luckily there weren't that many testers so I could have my own area. read more

I just finished my test. This place is an absolute joke, and I'm not exaggerating. Avoid it if you try to do your work at all. Two admin women were chatting during the reading test, so I nicely asked them to stop. Glad that they did immediately, but a few minutes later one of them wrote me a note asking me if I wanted to change to another station. wtf, this shouldn't ever happened and it wated my precious testing time! And you're not gonna believe what happened next. All computers restarted all of a sudden in the middle of the listening test! And the staff was like: oh it's ok, we got this. It was not ok and they didn't seem they knew what they were doing the whole time. Oh, yeah, there're so much more. To the admin woman who talked then shut up and then sat there eating her lunch: did you not see all the weaving arms out there? People had questions and needed you to response and they paid you for doing so. You're more than unprofessional, you're unethical. Such a waste of my money and efforts to sit for the TOEFL test there. Avoid this place if you don't want to fail your test. read more

This is a really bad test center. My wife is taking her TOEFL test there now. When you enter, there is a room with elevators, but only their employee can activate them, you get absolutely no idea how to get to the test. When I tried to ask the only uniformed employee, he interrupted me and said: "I will be right back with you guys". When I finally asked him how to get to the test, he got angry and said: "Did you hear me?! I said I WILL BE RIGHT BACK WITH YOU, GUYS!". This person (black, short, plump, curly hair, mustache) is really rude. When we got to the 5th floor where the test takes place, I tried to complain, but the center employee (white, short, with black and long curly hair) who met us there rudely told me to go because I am not taking the test. Of course, no one informed me that I was not allowed to go there. My wife hasn't finished the test, so perhaps it's not the end of the story. But anyway, I seriously don't recommend taking a test there. read more
