I sent photos back to the Eddie who I ordered from the make sure he knew what type of equipment I was getting. No response. That was my first red flag. Then, on the very first day, the boom was barely moveable - I'm talking snail pace, the slowest I've ever seen. took us almost 2 hours to get about 3 blocks away - I have videos. It's crazy. And then after that, the boom stopped working multiple times - they sent a technician out to fix it the first day blaming user error (the tech called me and explained - told me they had to recalibrate it with their computer, nothing we could have done by phone on our own), but then we gave up on the second day. They still charged me full price without exceptions. Even charged me for fuel at the end. We lost time on this job and without equipment, had to spend even more money on other equipment from someone else. Never again. Just go to United or Sunbelt. Lesson learned trying to work with the small guys.

Then he will set you up to have it fixed at peterbilt and promise to pay them and then he waits til they fix it and welshes on paying them. now i am stuck with a 21,000 bill plus the 13,000 paid to him. Obviously if he had the head checked at the shop he would have know what the problem was in the first place. I should have known when I saw the mechanic reading out of a book he was not qualified to do the work. But the truck was already torn down. I am a deisel mechanic myself but not a pacaar mechanic but I could have done better than Roberts shop. Stay away!
