I feel a moral obligation to write this review, given the stellar reviews…read more I waited a bit to review, because I wanted to make sure I had as much information as possible before writing it. I hired the team to hang and tape/mud about 1000 sqft of drywall. I had a number of quotes, and Solution DryTex was one of the higher ones, but still within reason. I went with them because of their responsiveness and friendliness. I fired them part way through the work. I had six other drywall companies out to inspect their work - all six said it was unacceptably poor - four of them said to tear it out and start over. As they started hanging, they were doing an alright job, though slightly messier than I would've liked. As they continued, they did a few things that were absolutely unacceptable: - Extensive over-driven screws, which means the drywall will not hold well - Breaks in drywall not directly over a stud/joist, which means the drywall will flex and crack - Extremely poor shimming, meaning the drywall will be crooked - Random pieces of trash sitting behind drywall, meaning the drywall wasn't sitting level - Unnecessary breaks in drywall, which will cause more visual imperfections. - Completely crooked pieces that won't be able to made to look good, no matter the amount of mud I brought up some of these concerns, and they attempted to fix them. The fixes were wholly inadequate. Before I had a chance to circle back with regards to those fixes, they begun taping. After I saw their taping work, I promptly fired them. The taping work contained a number of major problems: - Prefill huge gaps using premixed mud, which will take weeks to dry (if ever) - Mud all over my brand new windows - Bubbled tape that won't be able to be hidden - Globs of mud used to fill an inch wide gap - Corner beads with large curves in them I messaged them repeatedly, telling them they needed to return my money, given the fact that I was going to have to redo all of their work, and they wasted thousands of dollars in material. I received no responses. The team is very nice - they're a pleasure to be around. But no amount of kindness makes up for the fact that they have no idea what they're doing. I don't feel particularly good about leaving this review, but I think it's the right thing to do - I don't want them to take advantage of others like they took advantage of me. EDIT: In response to the owner: Scope of work: Correct, the work was interrupted before it was finished. This was after trying to get poor work corrected. I have also verified with six independent teams that the quality of the work was not such that it could be made to look good and last. Site conditions: Regarding framing, the team came out ahead of the project and spent quite a while measuring. If the framing was not acceptable, then that would've been the time to say so. Client collaboration: Now you're just being strictly dishonest, because moving the cabinets was explicitly included in the agreement. And you used _one_ sheet of drywall, mostly because you used the 1/2 drywall in the wrong places and needed to make up for that fact. Quality of work and adjustments: The work was so far from professional that it could not be adequately adjusted. I have verified this with SIX different companies, to make sure I'm being reasonable in my assessment. Track record: I can't speak to this. All I know is my experience.

In todays time this is a hard one because there are so many options and with that so many flakes or poor service. Daniel the owner is always responsive to our requests and gets back quotes in a timely manner. Daniel and his crew are very detailed oriented and continued to clean up behind themselves making it easier on us while home. They are very efficient and kept to their timeline given when we asked for our quote. We have now had them paint the complete interior of our home and couldn't be happier. All floor mold trim, edges and the ceiling lines are cut in perfect. The entire house was given two full coats that were hand applied via a brush and roller. This was a deciding factor in wanting good coverage and not wanting to have a paint sprayer in our home. We have had such great success with Vision Painting and Daniel that we are using the company again for our exterior of our home when their schedule allows. If you are considering painting your home inside or out I would not hesitate one bit contacting them and getting a quote.

I wanted to change one room from the drop ceiling to dry wall. Delfino's proposal is quite reasonable. And once agreed, he was able to put a team with electrical works, drywall, paining and garbage collections. I really like the way they work, more about quality instead of speed. Worst Painters Ever!!! They (J** and his dad B**) show up at 10:30ish am and leave at 2:20ish, My…read morekids named him "Half a Room a Day Jay". They trample thru, paint over adhesive or whatever else until you catch them, they paint the trim first and don't mask, they also dont move anything and don't do a once over after each room so be ready to re-install your face plates and remove tape,they dont carry a rag or remove drips from fresh paint. As they told me QUOTE; : We aren't you average painter we don't follow by those rules. END QUOTE they weren't lying about that at all. They applied Varnish on my bathroom ceiling with a Roller which no one does caused all kind of crater marks where i just told them to sand it back as before and don't touch it any further. They have little equipment, sprayer and 3 6 ft. ladders. They don't know how to work with wood and very little experience with Drywall or Spackle. They kept advance money for exterior which they DID NOT do. Took almost a month to do 2 rooms and closet-sized bathroom so I'm fine with them not showing up anymore they would do 10 mins of work and 20min. break in their van. I am on a mission to save everyone from this no painting, dishonest company that must have paid reviews from fellow bar patrons. Please don't give these guys any of your money unless you want nothing but frustration and are taking vacation for 21 days to let them complete the job. YOU WILL BE SORRY they also broke my 20 plus yr. old picture and ripped the vacuum mount screws out of the wall without a care or apology.
