This has been my home station ever since I moved to Chicago. On days when I go home to the burbs (let's make that bittersweet days, who the likes the burbs anyway?...garage sale enthusiasts?) I look forward to the empty train cars so can lounge around and take up two seats; but that's isn't the case most times. Some anal train conductor starts yelling at you to keep your feet off the seats and to sit upright. Uhhhh lady, stop raising your voice at me and get laid already, the train is empty.
My favorite days are when security starts to search your bag for booze on holidays like the 4th of July or Memorial Day. Aren't those drinking days and aren't we allowed to drink on the train? I was pissed one day when they stopped me and started searching my bag. I only had two minutes until the train left. Well, they didn't find booze, but they did find dirty underwear and socks - they were searching through my dirty laundry. The sweet smell of revenge.
