The store seems to be focusing more on expensive organic products, but unfortunately the quality control on some of the cheeses has gone down. I've purchased several cheeses here recently that tasted over-aged and strongly ammoniated. Properly aged European cheeses should have complex, nutty, earthy flavors -- not a harsh ammonia taste or smell. This has happened multiple times now. One of the biggest issues is that everything is prepackaged in plastic, so you cannot properly smell or assess the cheese before buying it. You only discover the problem once you get home and open the package. A good cheese counter should allow customers to smell or sample cheeses, especially imported and aged varieties.

As one checks out, one pays, still bagging (god forbid the lazy ladies offer to help-not that I'd ask for help) and BEFORE I am finished bagging, down the checkout counter comes flying the next person's goods. They won't look, these cashiers , old and young women, are too busy not paying attention to seem to care . Maybe management might care if enough people wind up paying for groceries not winding up in their bags? The younger ones are on their phones, the older one today was just nasty. As if she was saying: "i don't give a --- about you and your business-you bother me" how does a store stay in business with staff like that? They provide good deals and have low prices on sale items. Store few months prior received an upgrade so it's well maintained and cleaned properly. I recently had an incident in the parking lot where one of there employees while retrieving carts dented our car. He accidentally let it slip out of his hand and it fell from the platform right into my car. I'm still waiting on payment from their company after I received an appraisal for the damages.
