When I called and spoke to Wilfred on 12/2/2021 was told the product was no longer sold because they did not feel it was a good way to store cigars! Can you imagine: He told me the old was was with a brick humidifier, which is sold and included in the humidor, but they don't believe that is what you should do. Talk about bait and switch. I am at the Miami airport and my boyfriend walked up to the counter asking about Cuban cigars. The old man working the counter was disgusting to him. He started making fun of him because "there's no Cubans cigars unless you're in Cuba." The employee proceeded to tell him that he doesn't know anything and repeating "why would they change the laws because Cubans hate our guts." Then he told him that he looked 20 years old and that he surely didn't know anything. He's a 30 year old man and he doesn't need to be talked down to by some random cigar Counter employee regardless of his age. My boyfriend was an interested customer and this old man told him that he doesn't know anything because he's young and "young people are a problem because they don't know or read anything." This is absolutely unacceptable behavior. This is not the way to treat customers. If your employees want to educate customers then that is fine but patronizing and disparaging customers is not okay. I don't know what that old man's history or problem is but it's honestly not our fault that he is so bitter and rude. I had to pull my boyfriend away from the conversation because we were going to be late for our flight but when I looked back at the old man he literally was just laughing. And the worst part is that I could see him full on grinning and laughing because he WASN'T WEARING HIS MASK DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC AT AN INTERNATIONAL AIPORT. This is outrageous. My wife purchased this cigar at the airport location. It was so old and dry it was like a hollow dead mummy. The oldest and most dried out cigar I have ever seen. Maybe because she is a woman, this place thought they could cheat her. They did. She claims she paid almost $32 for it! We feel cheated. Ordered a humidor using my phone. When I placed the order it showed shipping was free and the next day I get a call from a rude and nasty woman who claims shipping is not free. I ordered from my phone where there are small tabs to click for product info. I didn't need to click it because I wanted the item. Apparently only if I click that small arrow will I see that shipping is not free. I am a big cigar smoker and will go out of my way to steer people away from this dishonest place. I'm going to go hard on this front and spread the truth I asked how much shipping was to have the item delivered and the woman had no idea. They further lied and stated that they called me this morning which is not at all true. My visit to Cuban Crafters was a perfect example of good Salesmanship. The young Salesman I dealt with could win Salesperson of the year. I've been in Sales for almost 20 years, and I would hire this kid in a second. The interior of the place is amazing. Just to the right of the front door are a series of chairs that were occupied by all the locals who were puffing away. They all looked quite blissful. To the left of the front door are a line of desks where the Cigar rollers were working. It looked like a sweat shop for Cigar makers. The place looked like the Cigar factories in Cuba that I've read about in Magazines. This is where I met Richard. Richard was a pleasant, young man who asked what kind of Cigars I usually smoked. He than takes me in the large, walk-in humidor and stuffs a beautiful Maduro Churchill in my mouth. He said the first one's on him. The Cigars were delicious. I ended up taking a dozen back to Chicago with me all for around $60. Not only did he give me information about having the Cigars shipped to the Windy City, he gives me his card and cell phone number and tells me to call him anytime of day if I need anything. Now that's what I call customer service. Here's the bottom line: If you're looking for an Old World Cigar factory that offers affordable sticks and customer service that's second to none, stop in and see the wonderful people at Cuban Crafters. I am rating the company not the cigars. I bought the 12 cigar sampler and specifically wrote a note at check out to confirm that the cigars pictured are the cigars that will be sent. After a week I called to check the status of this shipment and was told that the reason for the delay is that they didn't have all the cigars brands in stock and, according to my note, they were waiting until all cigars are in stock and then promptly ship. After almost 2 weeks I get the package and, surprise, most of the cigars that I was expecting were substituted for other brands. No Cupido, no Medina 1959, no La Carolina. These guys are my #2 go to web site for cigars and paraphenalia. First thing I got here was the three cigar special offer in the leather box with a great cutter. Terrific cigars - none of the brands I recognize - they go for the authentic, artisanal, small batch maker - the prices are good - not as good as Thompson - but the cigars are probably better - all dependent on your taste of course. Again, I hate to do this to the main street cigar retailers - but the value these guys offer is super - would not surpirse me if the main street guys are buying from this source too...... read more

This review is for the support from Cuban Crafters (post sale) of a 'Cuban Exotica for 150 Cigars' humidor. I followed the instructions for prepping the humidor. However, I'm only holding 60% humidity. I've reached out to Cuban Crafters 3 times by email (sales@cubancrafters.com) and cannot get any support or help. I believe I have a faulty humidification charcoal/foam thingy. I can't get any help with it. I can't get a replacement. It feels like they don't support a relatively expensive humidor ($150.00). I ordered one of their humidor kits that comes with a cigar case, cutter, activator solutions vice versa over the internet / thru their website. The package arrived promptly and well packed, but missing the activator solution. After multiple emails to multiple addresses they have (including their paypal email, which I believe they monitor - since they confirmed my payment and shipped the items), they have not responded. I waited 2 weeks to get an answer to my multiple emails and ended up ordering an activator solution from Thompson Cigar. I wouldn't make it a big deal for a $7 solution bottle but the humidor is useless without the activator kit. Imagine a car dealership delivering you a brand new car without zero gas in it and asks you to drive away. Too sad that their humidors are very nice indeed but their customer service suck. read more

This is a cigar store I want to love but just can't reconcile the good with the bad. It's a very nice store with a variety of cigars and Cuban memorabilia. The good is the variety, the Cuban coffee, the nice store and atmosphere. The bad is the inconsistent pricing, store brand cigars that are ok but over priced, and the employees who follow you around. And the upsell. Always the upsell. This last time I was there I wanted to purchase their brand cigars - last sales person sold them to me for 3 per stick and I bought a nice variety. This last time the salesperson was dead set on 5 per stick. Same cigars less than one year apart. Not the end of the world but this set burned poorly and just weren't as good. What a place. I like my cigars. Been smoking them for 15 years. Was visiting South Beach and everyone smoking a cigar who I asked about the best place in Miami to get cigars said the same thing. Go to Cuban Crafters. They have the Miami market cornered. I decided one night to head on over to the new Casino. It's called the Magic City Casino and they only have slot machines and poker tables. As I'm getting to the casino what do I find? A huge building with a sign that says Cigars. I then noticed that it also said Cuban Crafters. They're just a block away from the casino so I pulled in to what I thought was a 5 minute cigar buy. These guys have everything you can imagine for the cigar smoker. Every brand imaginable, humidors of all sizes and prices, and just about any accessory available. Had some free Cuban Coffee (kept me up all night), free shoe shine (the guy did a great job so I gave him a $5 tip - cheap for a New Yorker) and even drank a nice white wine from France (also free). There were about 30 people in the shop. All smoking, drinking and having a great time. Met some guys from New York who were also headed to the casino. An hour later I was still there smoking a cigar and having a great time. One of the cigar rollers from the factory (it's in the middle of the store) sat down and made me a freshly rolled one. He explained each step along the way. He had arrived from Cuba just a few months before and even in Cuba had heard about Cuban Crafters. He told me that the factory opens at 8 am and closes at around 4 pm. Even though it was way after that, he hangs around to smoke cigars and play dominoes. There were a bunch of people in that domino area, which is right next to what they call the VIP club. It's a wine club with food for their customers. The place was packed. I met some of the folks playing dominoes and one was a doctor, the others were famous cigar makers J.L. Salazar, Nestor Miranda and Tony Alvarez. Others were customers and locals, all down to earth and just having a good time. I finally left after 2 hours and can say that it was one of my best experiences in Miami. Felt like I was in a man's playground. These are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Great customer service, all the brands you know and the prices are better than most other places I have been to. Even though there are all the usual brands, I recommend that you get their small batch cigars. Every bit as good or better than those made in Cuba at about 1/4 of the price. I spent about $200 and probably got twice that amount in cigars. For a while I though I was in Havana. Be back there as soon as I'm back in Miami. read more

I am not a cigar smoker, so I cannot attest to how good the product is, that being said this place is so cool! They have free cuban coffee (which isn't the best), but the whole vibe of this place is really unique and interesting. They have a huge walk in humidor with excellent selections. The staff is great and will help you find the right cigars, and any associated tools or other needs. They were nice enough to include a cutter with our purchase, and they didn't really up sell anything, which was a nice change. There are lots of people hanging out and smoking cigars, there is a whole section of people making cigars you can watch them. Most of them are really nice and very talented at their craft. There is lots of parking on site, so don't worry about driving to the location. I was impressed with this place I found due to Yelp, and now it's on my list to bring people who enjoy cigars and want a real venue to experience the whole thing. read more

I bought the box of Cuban Crafter's brand (Cabinet Selection cigars. They're huge, I smoked like a third of a stick and I was pretty dizzy (What? Don't inhale? Oh..). Nice aroma though, very rich in taste with full of flavor and comes in a nice wooden box as well. For me I can't be smoking this every day, seems like it's for special occasions but that's just me as I mostly smoke smaller cigars so I don't pass out. They don't carry many brands but the prices are very reasonable (They do carry Don Kiki, heard a lot about them but haven't tried yet).
