Here- BILLY is the star of the show. He has an extremely loyal clientele because he works hard to make sure every detail is perfect and that he is stocking the best cigars available. Stars of the cigar world recognize him as one of the leading retailers and frequently stop by with their latest offerings. He also has amazing accessories like ashtrays, briefcases, lighters and humidors. The place is one of a kind- and has the best people watching in town. Andrew the stores assistant manager brings fresh coffee and soft drinks and will cut and light your cigar. In Miami- this is the place to go. I was in Miami for a week for meetings and decided to check out some cigar shops before I headed back home. Folks I know from Miami all recommended Smoke Shop. I walked there, fairly close to my hotel. As soon as I walked in I knew I found a special shop. I was greeted right away, asked if I needed help or looking for any specific sticks. I was given a tour and suggestions on cigars. I was able to find 3 of my favorites cigars- Fuenté Fuenté Opus X, Don Arturo Gran AniverXario and Montecristo #2. Bill The owner was great. First I have to say the store owner is a riot. He not only sold me top of the line cigars, including cigar of the year for 2014 Oliva V and a unique Miami made with Nicaraguan tobacco, he told stories and treated you like family or at least close friends of the store. I smoked the Miami made cigar, which I forget the specific name, but it was something that I never smoked. It was very tasty and well balanced. He recommended it because I told him that I enjoy Padron cigars, particularly Anniversary series 64 line. It was not exactly like the Padrons, however the flavor profile was similar and the smoking experience and the even burn was spectacular. I enjoyed this cigar in their sitting area and people came and went, shared stories, talked politics, talked sports, current events. I would be there every day if I could, but I do not live in Miami. This place is pretty much my second home, Billy and Andrew are like family. They welcome everyone with open arms and always suggest the best cigar for the mood. Working and living in the area I usually come to the shop to sit and talk to them and it's always been a great time. The shop also carriers great pens which is awesome because I've recently gotten into the hobby of calligraphy and fountain pen collecting. Such a gem for downtown and Miami overall. Had such a great experience!! The owner was so pleasant and helpful. I had my dog with me since I live in the area and he was absolutely so sweet to him and welcomed us with open arms. I didn't know what to get and he suggested a beautiful lighter and case. Very classy and helpful. There was one of clients enjoying a cigar, who had the same lighter and he reassured me that it was one of the best and that he even had one. Needless to say my friend absolutely loved it!! I've only smoked a couple cigars in my life while in South America (Cuban & Nicaraguan), so I am no expert. But it's an IMPRESSIVE little shop with an IMPRESSIVE owner. The guy knows his cigars. He told me it's the only job he's ever had. He learned from his dad, whom he mentioned often. I learned a lot about cigars. There's a small sitting area where three men were smoking cigars in the middle of the afternoon. The stop shares the space with what looks like a watch store to the right. The back has two walls lined with pipes. Go sniff the jars of pipe tobacco. It totally made me consider taking up pipe smoking, but I won't. Maybe when I'm old and don't care about cancer, I'll give it a whirl. Until then I'll buy cigars here as gifts for friends who smoke them and learn in the process. I really enjoyed talking cigars with the owner. read more

It has been my first visit to this shop upon recommendation of a friend who works down the street. I needed a great Cigar for business meeting and was set on a particular brand. Little that I knew the owner recommended me the latest in Cigar brand and quality took the time to explain to me what the differences are...( to those of you who are skeptic the brand he recommended was cheaper than the one I wanted initially....!) and went out of his way to box it to perfection. I was and am impressed with this shop... My business meeting went great and was asked multiple times to name the Cigar Shop....() I will return since I have to stock up on a few gifts and just to thank them for the personal attention and knowledge ... I have never met a nicest business men like the owner of Smoke Shop in Downtown Miami. This is a family business with the right customer service, full of knowledge and highly stuck with a wide variety of tabacco and pipes of all brand. I was highly impressed by the time he takes explaining what is best for what you need, saving you tons of money. You can really feel the passion in helping you be totally satisfied. The prices are lower than what I have seen online, making this store my life time pipe and tabacco store. I think if I move to any other place in the world, I will still be shopping here. For the first time I felt like in the old times when customers were treated with high respect. I commend the owner of this store, he is truly an asset for Miami community. read more

Miami's best cigar shop and coincidentally the oldest! This place has a total Big City Vibe. A diverse and interesting clientele makes you a return customer instantly. The owner/operator Bill goes out of his way tirelessly to make sure you get the right smoke for the right occasion. With unique events with the hottest names in the industry The Smokeshop has become my home away from home! The best place to smoke and buy cigars period! I have been a patron of Billy's smoke shop for years and have recommended him to several cigar aficionados as well. Billy does not disappoint. His selection is unsurpassed and he can beat any price considering his buying power from an extensive mail order clientele. I would also like to mention that I enjoy myself immensely with his right hand Andrew and all the fellow smokers that make up for great conversation while smoking a stogie. read more

I was in town for a business trip and looking for a good cigar shop. Came to the Smokeshop and William recommended some outstanding cigars. Sat in the lounge for several hours enjoying the conversation with other patrons. I came back with my coworker during the next day and went through several cigars and more great conversation. A fantastic shop full of regulars and visitors. Most highly recommended and I will come back in whenever in town. read more

Great service and great experience at Smog Smoke Shop in Miami. Billy was very knowledgeable and took the time to recommend some excellent cigars based on what I was looking for. I just had a memorable first experience as I walked into this downtown gem. While shopping for accessories for my fiancé, I was able to find the perfect set of cufflinks and limited-edition pen, the likes of which had not previously found in South Florida. Although the shop primarily caters to cigar smokers with it's Davidoff lounge, it's a wonderful place to find that next gift for Father's Day or special occasion. read more

I exclusively use this shop for everything cigars. Whether I am running in and need to pick up a few cigars quickly or hosting a get together in the shop for a few hours. They only provide the top cigars, top service, and very comfortable ambiance. Extremely Classy and Highly Recommended. read more

The best cigar store for rare boutique cigars. All the best low volume high quality cigars are in the humidor. Subtle casa Magna or a luxurious Padron 1926 number 9. The store also has high end accessories including Dupont lighters..montegrapa pens and very rare opus x humidors. read more
