    They don't have a dumpster for customers. It's a big inconvenience especially if you don't live in this area. The manager is very rude.

    Factor Drive Time From Flex Movers Office into the Amount of Time you actually need movers. (this…read moreis part of your hourly move quote) I hired Flex Movers for a last minute move for a move between units within the same apartment complex. I asked for 2 people for 2 hours and received a quote of $525. The movers arrived and the move completed at the 2 hours mark. The movers assigned were strong and worked quickly. We used my own Uhaul trailer and did not make use of the Toyota Corolla the movers arrived in. However, the clock on hours starts ticking when they leave their own office and ends by adding the transit time after the move to return back to their own office. Thus, I was charged for 40 minutes of drive time in addition to the 2 hours of the actual move. This was not communicated clearly to me at the time of the quote and I had some sticker shock at the end. My $525 2:00 hour move became a $667 2:45 hour move. They did give me a slight discount off the amount due to the communication error. However, even after the discount, I paid almost $100 more than the 2 hour quote to account for their drive time to and from their office. I cannot stand the sound of that persons voice. Right now it is broken and keeps goi g in a loop. So I can't pay my bill that way. Then I can't pay it o li e because it keeps saying I am not a customer. Doesn't recognize my email or user name!!!!!!! So now ai have to wait till tomorrow and pay my billl HOPEFULLY they answer the phone. I am not happy to hear the loading dock is not USABLE. I am disabled and that is going give me problems.     Ever since this facility was sold to new owners, the quality of everything has dropped. It seems…read morethat the new owners are more into passive income and aren't putting any effort into keeping the facility maintained. It seems more often than not, there is nobody in the office, even during normal business hours. They recently stopped allowing tenants to access the loading dock to move stuff, meaning that loading and unloading is limited to the front door. Unfortunately, the driveway/parking area in the front is very small, so any loading or unloading in that area will deny access to any other tenants that also wish to unload/load. While the loading dock door allows exits, if you're caught outside when it closes, you'll have to hop a fence to get out since the entry and exit are gated and the outdoor door sensor is deactivated, which basically makes the existence of the dumpster useless unless you have someone who can let you back in.

When I got there I was missing a whole FOOT of space. My unit was closer to 4x10. I was missing 20% of my unit. I had to find a second space to house my mattress because of this. I was banking on the fact that units would not be missing 10 square feet of my unit. Absolutely insane. They said that they would give me like %10 of my money back a month ago. Never saw that money. Also had to pay extra for my stuff that wouldn't fit to be relocated. These people can not be relied on and honestly scammed me. I do not recommend them. They lie about unit size and don't provide any solutions. They also make you pay the full price for space you DON'T get.

They charged us each month on our credit card for the storage which was all fine. We picked this particular place because it was running a better $ deal a little outside of college station for a "CLIMATE CONTROLLED" storage center. It was away for TAMU but close enough. Move out day went okay. We came back 4 months later to move out and found several of our boxes looked like they had "wet oily leak spots" from the outside of the boxes. We thought something had leaked from one box onto the others, but the placement of the spots on the boxes does not suggest that at all. When we opened up the boxes, we found NOTHING had leaked, conclusion being.. it got so hot in there that there was the moisture and humidity of the storage unit that had caused this to happen. We ended up throwing away those nice sturdy boxes we bought (which we had hoped to use again and again). We were going to say something to management about that concern so that they could check into it to possibly save the next tenant from suffering the same demise. We decided to not make a big issue and moved on as we had so much to do on move out day. Now..for the reason this place rates 1 STAR!! urgh.. frustration sets in when you go to move out and sign move out papers on the 30th of the month and still get charged for the 1st of next month. We noticed this days later on our credit card statement and called in for the reverse credit. Brittany who works there came on the phone and put me on hold as she went to "credit" my card for the wrongful charge. When she came back and told me it was all done, I asked to make sure she took my credit card information out so I wouldn't be automatically and mistakenly charged again next month. (she informed me that supposedly many people suffered the same thing as she said there was a computer glitch)... geez louise.. how many people were charged and didn't even bother to check their statement and they just kept that money?! They weren't going to credit it on their own.. either that or she just made up some bogus excuse. Whatever. Just credit back my money please! I waited and waited... for that refund to appear. 1 week later, I called my American Express customer service and inquired if the credit was coming through as I still had not seen it online. They told me they don't see any credits pending. So I called back to this place and got Brittany again. First she denied it was even her that I spoked to about the credit... really??!! (mind you they only have like 2 or 3 people working in their small office).. and then when I told her what the issue was, she went to check and come to find out..she never did the credit . No apologies. nothing! She said "I must have not hit the save button". SERIOUSLY???!! dropping the ball 2x is unacceptable..so she told me now she had to call corporate because she had already "taken us out of the system" and I actually suggested she call me back to let me know what's going to be done about..not her suggestion..urgh.. The next day she calls back to tell me corporate says it will take 30 freaking days to credit my card back..like give me a break!! TERRRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRRIBLE !! For what was their mistake should have been handled better and much quicker! I was going to use them again this summer because I actually think their place is convenient and clean..but with the unit issue causing heat damage to our stuff and now overcharging us and taking more than a month to fix .NO THANKS!! NOT EVEN FOR FREE! I GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Next time, I'll just rent off Texas Ave near the school and pay more.. for better service and a real 'CLIMATE CONTROLLED' unit where I won't be overcharged!
