When I moved out, I submitted my move out and it said it was pending approval, I went ahead and removed my credit card on file as well. Well today (Feb 4) I wake up to a receipt from uhaul thanking me for my transaction! I pulled up my account on file to get the number to call and I saw that my move out was still pending and checked again if my card may have still been on file and it wasn't. I called them and spoke with Tiffani and she tried telling me that it was auto draft in error and they refunded my money. I asked her how if my card was not on file!? I went back thru my previous transactions and all those receipts say AUTOPAYMENT but this recent one was an actual receipt with Tiffani's name on it and NOWHERE does it mention autopayment. I think what they did, they saw my account was "past due" cause they haven't processed my move out yet, so they went to past transactions to get my card info and ran the payment. I'm including the past receipts and the most recent receipt to show I'm not lying. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR STORAGE!

ST wasn't the highest quote I received and they weren't the lowest, but my gut told me this was the company I should go with because It's family owned and operated and you work on your move with the actual people who control the logistics of getting everything right. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I can't tell you how many times between booking the move and the actual move itself, that I patted myself on the back for having had the good sense to choose them. I moved from Chicago to Newport Rhode Island at the height of the pandemic in July 2020 and ST never skipped a beat I can't stress enough how wonderful ST is.
