Are you guys open today? I've been calling all morning and still not getting anyone to pick up. I depend on taxi rides to literally get anywhere. I missed work. Also I was stranded at work for 2 1/2 hours before I could fine a ride. I normally have a pick up time for work and a pick up time after work. I could mess up my braces process and I have an appointment every week. And I could lose my job. I'm trying to keep my job by struggling to even make it to work and then worry if you guy are going to pick up or keep your guys word. And come when you guys say. Order a cab for 5pm (at 3:40), as I need to pick up my car from the shop by six. The disparcher reminds me (twice) that I have one hour and twenty minutes. I wait outside at ten minutes at five. Five comes and goes. At ten after I call the dispatcher and ask where my cab is. "Oh! He's not there yet?" (Most dispatchers know if a ride has been picked up). "I'll see where he his." Then hangs up on me. Ten minutes later, still no taxi. So I call back and after three rings get sent to voicemail. The recording says not to leave a message, as they are not picked up. Twenty-five minutes late, the cab arrives. I say I am running very late and ask where he's been. Apparently the disparcher just tells people a time with no idea where his cabs are. He does this all the time. The driver them tells me that the company doesn't take credit cards. He wants to stop at an ATM on the way. I tell him I would normally, but as we are nearly a half hour late, we can't afford the stop. Then begins the negotiations of what I can leave as collateral as the driver doesn't want to trust me. His last fare burned him for twenty dollars, and who was to say I wouldn't do the same. I eventually convice him to go into the shop with me as I get my car, them he can walk with me to an ATM afterwards. Totally unreliable company, cash-only in the 21st century. I use Cuddys three time a week to commute in real shitty days for YEARS. Today I had the worst-direction impaired cab driver ever. He told me that the fastest was from Bingo to Walmart in Auburn was to go down 'A' street and cut over. Living in Auburn for years, I told him that it was simply untrue and told him a faster route. Now keep in mind, I generally tip about $5-10 every fare. Today my fare from Muckelshoot to Walmart was $17. This is fuckin ridiculous, $17 isn't even the fare that I pay from Muckelshoot to Federal Way... what makes this worse is that I told him not to go down A st and he did anyways. My daughter got a ride Monday 23 Aug to work at Kent station and called at 1030 pm for a pick up around 1130 pm after work. No cab showed up, she called and the dispatcher said he'd have one to her in 10 minutes and at 1156 pm still no taxi, she called back and they said they were 20 minutes out...it takes me 22 minutes from Lakeland Hills to Kent station...I went to pick her up, she even told dispatch that she was a young lady by herself and he then tells her we usually don't pick up in Kent at night...really, you tell her almost 2 hours later. Today she calls at 237 pm for a ride, she is told the ride is on them because of what happened Monday night, they said they had someone ahead of her and it would be about 30 minutes. At 338 pm she finally gets through, the previous 10 calls went to voicemail and the dispatcher says he just came on, that the cab is out and there are fares in front of her...I take the phone, my daughter is too nice and tell them that if they can't respond in a timely matter, do not promise you'll be there, that they had left my daughter stranded for almost 2 hours and now she's going to be late for work. It wouldn't have been a problem if they'd been honest. We had used Cuddy's a couple of times before- both times, the drivers were quick and courteous- but this time, they wound up unusable. We called them several minutes before we got out of the grocery store, and they quoted to us, "Twenty minutes." Forty minutes later, I called them back to make sure we weren't forgotten- the dispatcher had an attitude of "Oh! Yeah, yeah, yeah, they're right about there." We waited yet another twenty minutes, in which we theorized that the wait may be due to a sporting event- it was a Sunday- and ultimately decided to just take the bus. BEWARE of this company and their drivers. I called for a last minute cab ride as no Uber was available for a 230am pick up from Auburn, destination Sea-Tac airport. Driver showed up around 3am. He seem pleasant during the initial pick up, asked me questions as to who's home I was at and if I was from the area. About 10 mins into the ride, the driver asked if I had cash on me as his credit card machine is broken. I asked him how much would the fare cost already knowing approximately how much it should cost as I've done this commute many times before. He asked how much do I have on me? I told him about $30. He asked if I could go to the bank and get money. Mind you this is at 3am in the morning and I have my 5 year old with me. I told the driver that I don't want to be late for my flight and don't want to be charged extra for the pit stop. Long story short he pulled up to a bank anyhow without my consent, said he'll stop his meter and told me to get money. At this point I am terrified as his demeanor is quite aggressive and I am scared to upset him since it is in the middle of the night with no one around and I had my kid with me. I got out of the car and took my child with, pulled out $20 and got back in the car, told the driver I only have $40 cash that's why when I called for the cab initially I asked if they accepted card. He said that's fine he'll take $40 if he goes over. He swears all his customers that night had paid him cash and had no issues. I get back in the car and he drives taking a different route. I told him that another route is faster and he said "no! I drive this all the time I know!" I can see him clearly pushing the meter and then the price bumped up and that he intentionally took a different route to make his money. At this point, I took a picture of his cab # and a side picture of him. Got to the airport and gave this terrible being his money so I can get the hell of out there. When they finally showed up, everything went decently smooth. Well, except for the fact that they only accept cash. Here's how it went: We needed to be picked up from a business meeting at a well known location. (the main entrance of the main building of a large company H.Q. in Kent, WA) We called the day before to make sure they (Cuddy's) had a heads up and to be sure we would have a reliable ride from the meeting location back to the airport. Of course i was reassured they were familiar with the area and have provided service from the specified location to the specified airport many times. I got the impression the whole ordeal would be a breeze for Cuddy's. Not so. The guy that answered the phone didn't want to believe me when i gave him the address of our meeting (pick up) location. I double checked and verified with him. He read back the address, so i figured everything was fine. Not so. After five more calls (while waiting out front with an increasingly frustrated CEO), we ended up walking out to the street to wait in a more obvious (findable) location. When the driver/car finally arrived, it turned out he had been waiting at a different (incorrect) location. The car had an overpowering cigarette odor and the driver's appearance was less than professional. This is being nice. Long story short, next year we will not be using Cuddy's again. read more

Needed a ride to the airport. Driver showed up 35 minutes late. Driver wasnt paying attention, and took I-5 South instead of North which added another 30 minute delay just to turn around. Got the airport 5 minutes after my flight took off. They wouldn't consider a refund, and 10 minutes later I was paying another cab another $80 to take me right back home, and tomorrow I have to repeat the gauntlet. We rode the bus to Auburn but left the bus at the wrong stop. We were going to the Horse races at Emerald Downs. We walked across the street to Cedar Inn Motel and asked them to call us a taxi as it was a warm day and too far to walk, about 2miles or less. They said the taxi would be there in 20 minutes. The taxi arraived and had no air conditioning, the back seat was torn and the foam rubber could be seen as it was a rip along the seam from the back of the seat to the front. We arrived at Emerald Down and the driver charged us $12.10 for a 2mile or less ride. When the King County license office called them as I lodged a complaint they had no record of the ride. In the taxi was a sign with the number for the King County Liciening Depart for any compliants. The taxi number was 27 and the Cuddy Cab Company said they do not have a #27 cab. Strange and the Cedar Inn Motel said they did not call a taxi for us in their records. Interesting! Do Not Use Cuddy Taxi Service. Ask for another company. read more

I was told to call the day of the show 3 hours in advance and there would be no problem. I called yesterday, 4 hours in advance and spoke to the 'owner'. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! She stated that because it was a busy day that they WOULD NOT pick up from the Muckleshoot Casino because it's a two lane road. Not impressed when at a concert at White river, not a cab in sight. Except one, a Cuddy cab with both the owners in the car. And turning down not only my party's trip but numerous others...,not a big enough trip, my husband actually heard the driver say, a hundred dollar trip or no go. I had the very unfortunate experience of using Cuddy's Taxi Service to SEA-TAC airport. I had called twice to ask the approximate price for a fare from downtown Auburn to the airport. My flight was leaving 615AM on a Saturday morning. I wanted to leave my home at 430AM. Both times I called, I was told that the fare hould be $35.00 to $40.00 for that time of day on a Saturday morning. The taxi arrived to pick me up a little after 430AM. The driver took out a GPS and got onto 167, and went all the way to 405. He was in the right lane headed toward Bellevue, and I had to tell him to get into the left lane. Well to make a long story short, the fare was $52.00 without a tip! When I got to the airport, I call Cuddy's again, and told them my dliemma. I was told I should've told the driver the best way to go! I'm not a cab dtiver, and that wasn't my job to explain directions to the driver. I had even spoken to the owner who never told me to tell the driver the best way to go; but when I emailed her upon my return, she told me it was my responsibility to let the driver know the best route to go! The Monday night dispatcher needs a serious lesson in customer service. I have use Cuddy for several years and for the most part, there have been no problems. Tonight was different. I called for a cab, and was told 10 - 15 minutes which I took as the amount of time I had until the cab would be there. I was in line to get a few things when I saw the cab drive by, they didn't even stop. When I got outside, I called the dispatcher back and he had a nasty attitude when I reminded him that I am a regular customer who uses Cuddy all the time. He said he didn't care that I am a regular customer that if I am not out there when the cab pulls up, they will keep going. It seems that the driver could have pulled up and waited for a few minutes and I would have been out there. That would have just been good sense and good customer service. I asked how long it would be until another cab would be sent and I was told 5 or 10 minutes. I then hung up my phone. After waiting 20 minutes I called back, and he said there wasn't another cab coming and claimed I had called him an a**hole, which I did not. There were groups of kids playing around in front of the store, and he may have heard one of them say something, but I never call anyone a name like that. This dispatcher, based on what he thought he heard me say, was just going to leave me hanging. I was lucky that when I called a friend of mine she picked up and was willing to come get me. Normally, I never have a problem with any of the drivers or dispatchers and I am polite when I call. I will make a point of NOT using Cuddy again after this. read more
