Johnny values getting to know his clients, not just your music tastes, but what type of vibe you want to create for your event. He has such great experience and he helps you find out what you might be missing and fills in the gaps when you need it. He is super knowledgeable and he spends a bit of time sharing exactly what he will be using and why. You feel like you know the important pieces of being a DJ and you know you're in good hands. It's clear he enjoys this work and he has just as much fun curating and running the event as the people enjoying his music! That all being said the huge plus we felt was that he was on top of the timing for the event. He kept us informed where we were in the timeline, when we were getting off track and he gave us our options about how to get back on track for our event. For us it was the pictures our families got super chatty so everything got delayed and Johnny came up to us and gave us how far behind we were, and told us we can just move on to dinner or we could cut out the shoe game and give everyone some more time to get our pictures in. It was so helpful to be given a way forward and we would have been so much more stressed if we didn't have Johnny's help. Not only did he do exactly what I wanted, my wedding ended up running really late and I (the bride) am obviously very busy getting ready. He makes several trips back & forth to show me what the room looks like by taking pictures on his phone so I don't have to leave and focus on the things that are more important. He worked around MY crazy schedule and was SUPER patient with my crazy self! Highly recommend to everyone, I know he DJs as well but I only needed him for lighting. She helped us choose our vendors, and referred us to our officiant who we adored, and after we finally settled on a venue went with us to all our meetings with them and made sure everything was organized and going to happen the way we wanted it to. Janine was always available by phone and email to help with any questions or concerns we could think of.
