He read our taste in music accurately from the form we filled out ahead of time and incorporated requests from our guests. We had a lively dance floor and as both a DJ and Emcee, he made sure guests knew about key activities that were coming up (cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc.). Our guests remarked that they enjoyed the music and the dancing, one person even commented that they don't usually dance at weddings, but they danced at ours! Most of the communications with Tony was done via webcam since we weren't able to go back and forth to Washington. Tony was very responsive to everything and not only had plenty of ideas but he has the best ideas. If you pick him you unlock a world of possibilities for your ceremony and reception. Prior to having him I just thought I would pick a few songs, play the wedding quiz game and call it good. I was so wrong. Once I got to see his presentation ideas I knew we were in the best hands. There were multiple parts of our wedding that the guest had never seen before and moved them to tears, laughter and the best party opener after a year of masks and social distancing. He knows the right way to do everything in his lane and he pretty much becomes your day of coordinator, or their huge helper. He helped us with our floor plan and he always kept us informed on what was going to happen next. It felt like the wedding was a production. A Grammy winning production at that. The moment I realized we had made the best decision for our wedding by hiring Tony was as I was getting ready the day of. It was about three hours before the wedding and I was getting my hair done and just mentioned to my wedding party "Oh crap I hope Tony is able to set up and doesn't get lost or anything." My maid of honor said "umm... he's been here for a while and I am pretty sure he is all set up." He adds absolutely 0 stress the day of the wedding! Tony is very professional and his ultimate goal is to be there for you and your partner as well as keeping everyone involved and to have everyone leave at night saying "That DJ is my new best friend." When I first booked him we had a conversation about what kind of music would be of interest, then he sent over some sample playlists that I could review ahead of time. He was very open to feedback and listened to my concerns and needs. On the day of William arrived early to set up and was ready to go before the time we agreed on. He was very good at reading the room and kept the spirits high despite a somewhat difficult crowd. He was great thinking on his feet when we wanted to mix the music up a bit as well. Their communication was spot on and they even met with us to get the songs ready for my wedding. In that meeting they went over songs that shouldn't be played at the wedding. Before my wedding day they called me to tell me they couldn't play my walking down the isle song. I panicked because I loved that song within a minute they said they could actually play it. On my wedding day they barely tried to get a microphone to my ceremony so that our guest could hear. They played EVERY song that I said not to. To top it off the DJ asked if they could take our cupcakes to give to the homeless. Feeling uncomfortable, those who were putting them away obliged.
