***Sunday***very small location with not a big selection of cigars but just enough to make you stay have a smoke and enjoy a machine made cappuccino. The outside patio is perfect if you don't want to be inside their indoors smoke lounge and be overwhelmed with smoke. I only wish they had some hard liquor to pair up with the cigars. Overall a great little spot to chill, relax, play dominoes, very friendly place. I'll definitely come back again and bring some friends with me. Cuenca is the reason my husband and I go to Hollywood. Ana and Miguel are amazing hosts and this place truly feels like home. The domino action can be intense and there is no better place to people watch than Harrison St. We attended a recent cigar marathon with Cigar Snob Magazine, visiting 5 cigar bars in Broward County- many of which were larger, but everyone agreed that Cuenca was the best stop of the day! I'm glad that the store sounds good. The online service does not deserve any stars! I ordered a box early on a Friday morning and got two e-mails that told me nothing. When I called the following Tuesday, they couldn't find my order and would e-mail me "in fifteen minutes." When no e-mail came, I called again. They stammered around, telling me that they were going to get them from the warehouse yesterday but didn't so they were getting them this afternoon and they would ship them then and I'd have them on Friday. Late Thursday afternoon, I received an e-mail that they had "just been shipped." They arrived the following Monday. But, they included two sticks of something I don't even smoke. Wow! For a few dollars more, I'll stick with Famous Smokes in Philly. There's almost never a problem and, when there is, they go out of their way to fix it quickly and to satisfaction!! read more

I know downtown Hollywood has taken some economic punches to the gut lately, but Cuenca is rockin n rollin with the best of them. One of the bright spots on Harrison. Eye popping selection of some of the best cigars, kept in pristine condition, AND one of the best beer selections you will find in town. Very well chosen wine list as well. Staff and owner were beyond helpful, and I couldn't have been happier with my Fuente 858 Maduro on the balcony of the Diplomat Hotel later that evening. This is a great place, have been coming here most weekends since shortly after opening, just to get out, socialize, watch the world go by & enjoy a good smoke. The usual crowds usually there, they have a good selection of cigars considering how small their space is & do well with it. They look after their product & keep the levels of humidity well (if you smoke you will notice the difference). If you want to try something different, they have good knowledge & will recommend a cigar you will like. Haven't been disappointed & now they've got help to cater they're customers sitting down outside for drinks etc. Since I've been coming here for years they know me & allow anyone to use their members bathroom if need be. This place is amazing, when you walk in in the first thing you get is a friendly greeting. Then after they're selection blows your mind, they actually help you find a cigar that's good for your pallet. After you've purchased your cigar they have a lovely patio area for you to enjoy the nice Hollywood weather. Not to mention this place is AWESOME for people watching! Now to add the icing on the cake you have the owners. There's Miguel who's one of the funniest characters I've met in a long time and then there's his angel of a wife Ana, she's not only a sweetheart but she's tough as nails and just as hard a worker as anyone there! I'd tell you that this place is a must for cigar smokers and wineaux's but that wouldn't be fair to keep this place to ourselves. I love Hollywood and was referred to Cuenca Cigars by a co-worker. Stopped by on Saturday afternoon and was greeted by the female owner. She was welcoming and very informative about cigars. I loved her cigar recommendation. It was sweet and smooth. I had a glass a wine too. The prices are fair. The male staff was nice and very knowledgeable about the area, cigars, Cuenca Cigars. I will most definitely return to the business. The owner gave me recommendations for apartments if I want to move to the area. They have a air conditioned establishment next door with TVs and music. They have outside seating with umbrellas to block the sun. The Main Street Hollywood section is nice and full of venues. read more

First time at Cuenca Cigars and it's a surprisingly cute little hidden gem in the Hollywood area. The place is clean, they have an okay selection of cigars for beginners. Aficionados might wasn't to bring their own sticks if you only smoke the premiums. The staff is super friendly and I love the lounge next door. It's air conditioned, and has a few plasma tv's so you can catch your favorite game or show. Cappuccino was extra delicious. My hubby had a latte and he was satisfied with his dose of caffeine, however the cappuccino was the better of the two. We will definitely be back for the people watching and atmosphere. read more

Went here for the first time about a week ago. The store has a nice selection of cigars, most of your big brands, etc. I believe they sell wine. I'm not a wine drinker so I didn't pay too much attention to that. They have coffee and some beer. There appears to be a members type lounge to the left of the store, as you're looking at it from the outside. Otherwise, most of the seating is outdoor seating. The owner (I believe that's who I met) was a nice guy. He introduced himself. I don't know if/when I'll be back because I'm not a fan of sitting outside, in the Florida heat, to smoke a cigar. Was looking for a cigar lounge we could visit after dinner. Selected Cuenca based on prior reviews. Didn't have much time but enjoyed a nice Port with some cigars we brought with us. Down to earth, no BS, didn't mind that we had our own cigars. They had a nice selection of cigars at reasonable prices for the area. Jonathan provided genuine friendly service. Stopped by here with a friend while in town and we thought it was a legitimate establishment with quality options for smoking a stogie. The selection was a bit weak, but it did the job. Coffee that was offered for free wasn't good, but I really am not rating them for this. However, I would recommend they either not serve it, or change the coffee they serve. The lounge access is for members only, however, they were nice to allow others to sit in there - bathrooms were very clean, which is always a plus. read more

I happened to be in Hollywood, and found Cuenca listed here on yelp. One of the other reviews said it was like that old TV show "Cheers". They were absolutely right; it's a friendly neighborhood place, where everybody knows your name. They have a nice lounge next door, as well as an outdoor seating area in front of the building. I enjoyed myself when I was there. It doesn't have the glitz of Smoke on the Water in Westin, or Prime in Boca, but just like "Cheers" it a nice place to spend some time. read more

I really like Cuenca Cigars! This is a Cigar store that excels on all cylinders. It is a mom and pop operation featuring a husband and wife team. Miguel Cuenca is the face of the shop and is a cross between Ricky Ricardo and Ernie Kovacs, including the ever present high end Opus X or other excellent smoke being promoted from his mouth. His wife Ana is the Cuban version of Lucy and Sophia Vergara--smart business women who likes to smoke and have a glass of the shops featured wines. The Store promotes a loyal following and scores of active members. There is a Montecristo Lounge and almost every conceivable cigar is on hand or readily available. Pictures feature Carlito Fuente with the Cuencas so obviously these owners are highly respected. The place is packed in the evenings and a monthly Destination event runs into the wee small hours of the morning. The prices are fair and inline with MSRP. The place seems like a family where people drift in and out but everyone seems to know everyone. A very comfortable place with picturesque outside seating.
